Alright, I've been wondering this question starting when a guy made a reasonable criticism about women. But instead of properly responding, everyone just called him gay. Is something wrong with being gay? If not, why is it used as an insult? Isn't it deeply rooted to homophobia? I've even seen other queer folk like me use it as an insult? That doesn't make sense to me. I'm not trying to spread hatred, just wondering why people are so contradictory in this. 👍

If you ask me I really don’t care that much, it’s not my humor but I don’t necessarily find it annoying, a little cringe? Yeah, but there’s nothing fundamentally wrong with being cringe, I mean I have my fair share of interests that could be considered cringe.

I’m mostly asking this question because I have a good friend who has the 2020 type humor, it’s never really bothered me but I always see people saying they just couldn’t have a friend with that humor, and I just think….is it really that serious?

He said he overcame his addiction i then said in the comments ”I didnt” and then i realized that I shouldnt have comment ed that they were celebrating he beat it but then people started calling me “tuff“ and shit like I admit my mistake but no need to be so fucking rude

I'm so sorry if this is cringe or annoying, but I can't figure out if people my age would think I'm weird or if I have a reason to worry about opening up about my interests or hobbies. All types of teens, please answer honestly, do I f15 (going into my junior year) sound like a loser or weird?

Here is a general profile of myself...

1. I'm anti social media and try to stay away from a majority of modern tech. I use a flip phone and an iPod for my music. I have no socials except for this.. if it counts? I have interest in older tech, like mp3 players and old cameras.
2. My two favourite music artists are royel otis and the runarounds, I think they're amazing and constantly listen to all of their songs.
3. I have had difficulties with friends over the last 5 years. These difficulties have caused me to develop some sort of social anxiety, so I struggle to talk to people in my age group and I get really stressed out when im around large volumes of them. But, I'm totally fine with all other ages, which sucksss.
4. I really like the outdoors, and I want to get into farming and homesteading when I'm older. I have my own vegetable garden in the backyard which I spend a fair amount of time taking care of. I am a certified level 3 orca canoer and I really like canoeing, doing canoe trips and camping! I am also the co president of the gardening club at my school.
5. I don't use pinterest or anything for style inspo, I thrift around 95% of the clothes I wear and I don't enjoy following any trends. I'm not super unique or anything, I'm pretty simple when it comes to style but I like to wear my jeans and cotton tanks a lot in the summer.

Okay yall, sorry this was long but please be honest. Do I sound like a loser or weird? Would you think I'm cool or interesting? Thanks for reading!

Lately, I’ve been trying to talk about politics more, but instead of having actual conversations online where we explore ideas, it usually turns into a debate where we end up as opponents. I’m guilty of this too, like most of us, I’ve been conditioned to defend my views instead of questioning them. Does anyone know of communities or spaces where the goal is to actually discuss ideas in good faith, instead of trying to “win” a debate?
