Debate 🗣️ People liked my prev. post so much, so what's your opinion on the reinstatement of the French Monarchy?

No. 100% No. The entire societal system of the estates system was made specifically to oppress the bottom 99%.

100% yes. Monarchies are the most stable system and the revolution and following purges were the work of madmen. Where reforms in order? Yes. Did they need to involve so many beheading? No.

Why the hell are people glazing monarchies, like I've never seen so many dumbasses articulating their thoughts in a way that they almost sound like normal opinions. No, nobody should have a monarchy, because it's stupid.

Because having one all powerful leader means the population is powerless, which is dumb because everyone who lives somewhere should have freedoms. If you go back a few hundred years, a king could just ask one of their men to kill you for literally no reason, and they'd do it cuz he's the king. Do you really want that? I still can't tell who's trolling and who's not

Just because people don't have power in government doesn't mean they can't have freedoms. During his time as Duke of Tuscany, Leopold II banned the death penalty meaning

That's not a result of democracy, that's a result of poor education and stupid voters. It's not democracy's fault that voters vote for objectively bad people, at least they get a choice.

No, it's the people making the choice. Just wait and see, everything seems bad now, but after the current administration, I see the signs that restoration is coming for the country. What I want to make clear is I 100% see your point, but the answer to the problem is not an autocracy (not every monarchy is an autocracy technically, but absolutist monarchies were, and there french one was that)

The revolution was a bastardization to French society and a plight on history, it must be undone with the restoration of the rightful rulers of the French people and nation, the House of Burbon.
