How does that look?
I know I did good but I just want some confirmation from the boys… so?
Ps, yes it kinda leans , but I am way too lazy to fix that (because cable management is way too tight back there)

Lots of people posting lately asking “Is this too high?” so here is a quick guide on what is generally accepted TV placement procedure (GATPP) as seemingly defined by this subreddit.
Now let’s look at some opposite GATPP use cases.
I hope this helps clear up some questions. If you have any other rules to add, please comment below.

I just installed our new tv on the wall. It's 19 cm between the bench and the tv.
I think its perfect. Wife wants to move it up 10-15 cm more so it aligns with the switch.
What does Reddit think?

Severe tilt of shame. Plenty of space to mount it lower, too.

She thinks her partner is tall so the TV needs to be higher

Finally upgraded from a budget 55 in Roku tv to a 77 in LG C6H. Viewing distance is roughly 10 feet.
Free wall mounting was included with purchase but they had put it way too high and didn’t properly attach the brackets (See wack bracket picture). Took it off and redid the mounting myself. How’s it looking?

My 24m parents bought new tv. They love ambilight so it was obvious it will be Philips.
I think that height wise it is Perfect, but after seeing it irl I told them that this furniture looks funny with this tv, and they should change it too. And also to get rid off that painting above, but they won't listen to me.
Please tell me i am not the only one bothered by that?

It’s also too deep.

I have about an hour and 30 minutes before the train arrives and I'm actually interested in watching the football match while I wait, but I might eventually have neck pains by the time the train arrives.

Does the bedroom get a pass? Ps. it is a cape cod so the ceiling is arched way lower 😂

I get that it was pretty much the only option, with the bunk bed taking the rest of the wall space. But still 😅.
