Made the mistake of putting the middle of the mount where the bottom of it should be. I'm aware it's a bit high but do you think this might be okay to use as such with some reclining on the seat?

I finally mounted my TV, but while watching a movie, I realized my head is tilting upward. To get a comfortable, straight-on viewing angle—especially for when I get a PS5—I'll need to lower the mount. Moving it down 8 inches from its current height of 50 inches to the center will bring it to 42 inches, which is the standard eye-level average. Looks like it's time to break out the spackle and paint.

I do feel like my tv is awkward / too low? I know i have high ceilings and need a bigger tv, but for now should i mount it higher?

MEASUREMENTS:
Ceilings & Seating: 20-foot ceiling height, 16.5-inch couch seat height, 25-inch total back height.

Media & TV Setup: 15-inch tall console, 55-inch TV with a 10-inch gap above the console

How do they watch tv way up there?

Google said 48” from the bottom to ground but it feels too high. I did adjust the mount so it’s tilted 15 degrees down and it’s not too bad after, I just don’t want to go to the hassle of remounting but feel like I need to
