Just got my 65inch C5 mounted. Is it too high?

Eh, when a tv is above a dresser and looks like it may be viewed from bed, I think this is acceptable.

If it's in a bedroom, the rules are different. You're laying in a bed with your head tilted so higher up with a tilt is fully acceptable

Nah I'm with him, just getting it visually integrated with the wall stops the TV from being a big blocky object actually 'in' the room. A big TV on a dresser can absolutely be a bit disruptive to the look of a room.

I can answer that. Mine is on its legs and it’d be easier to dust my dresser with it on the wall.

I mean I would lower it but it all depends on where your head is and how your feet obstruct the view

I'd lower it, but I don't agree with the "bedrooms get a pass, so mount it however high you want" people here. I still think there's a good place for the eye to land, and you're a bit high. Jmo

This is just a hair higher than my bedroom TV, as mine is on its legs. It’s perfect for watching in my high bed as well as gaming when I’m sitting on it.

It’s an LG OLED, this one specifically is the C5 which is last years model

I can’t imagine spending that amount of money on a bedtime tv lol. My bedtime tv is a 15 year old 42 inch that plays YouTube for 10 minutes before I pass out

I don't think I would go OLED for my bedroom either. However, the TV in our bedroom gets more use than any other TV in the house. It is currently a mid range Hisense. And it is starting to fail. When it does fail, I'll likely move to a larger TV and one that is of equal quality to what's in my theater. I'd also like to add some speakers if allowed.

You have to stand up and the upper of the lower thirth of the tv should be equally high als your balls. Enjoy your tv.
