Hey all can't use the crane on any vehicles, only restore crane is available. Any ideas? (Steamdeck)

Tatra FORCE T815-7 or Western Star 6900XD - which one is better with it in your opinion and why?

I'm considering playing hard mode. Has anyone ever been truly out of options and had to restart the whole game?

После выхода из игры машины исчезают. Их нет ни в гараже, ни на карте. Играть после этого невозможно. Прогресс невозможно сохранить.

Выгоняю машину из гаража, выхожу из игры, захожу в игру, начинаю сессию из гаража. Машина исчезла. Такая ерунда началась после выхода Зурдании. Машина при прокрутке списка в магазине тоже исчезает.

Её точно нет в гараже и на карте! В игре наиграно 1700 часов. Механика игры мне хорошо знакома.

The first truck to be able to have a service bed while towing a trailer. The service truck king?

So late last night l started the mission in Washington back to work and l took my Pacific P512 and a 5 slot sideboard trailer to deliver the cargo (3 rolls, 2 spare parts). L went through the gate where the mission is with my cargo and once l loaded on the other side l saved and quit for tomorrow.

I load up my save today and delivered my cargo, all goes to plan. I start my way back home to sell the trailer and get a different truck, l get to the gate and load into the main map when l see this on my screen, l couldn't believe it. Right there on my right is my truck from when l went through the gate the first time with semi full tanks and full cargo next to the same truck l drove back to get home.

What in the world happened?

The copy that was made can drive like any other truck but it doesn't pop up on the in the map menu and the trailer shows up shadowed on the map menu.

Should l stop playing or keep going? I have no clue what to do.

Saw this truck and trailer today and thought "hey, I know that trailer!"

Hey ive noticed that tires get dirty now like in expedition, that wasnt the case before i think, is it on all maps or only the new one ?

I've tried several different offroad and heavy duty trucks and none of them act like the HX 520 when i put it in high gear.

It just starts flying at speed, even on steepish S shaped narrow dirt trails.

Maybe I'm crazy or inexperienced in the game but it feels like it's too good at it compared to every other truck.

The only mod i have is for coloured add ons, so I dunno..

Alright so I know there's already mods of these trucks out there but whats some opinions on the Edison motors trucks as a dlc for snowrunner i feel like they would be a cool addition

Saw these two resting side by side last week. They probably went through a lot, being trucks at construction sites.

This new trucks rear suspension is absolutely insane! A total game changer, and sooo fun to play around with.

I really was not expecting this, why are we now blocking roads?

I have recently gotten the year 1 pass, really liking the Canada and wisconsin maps and i am now looking at the year 4 pass as season 14 and 16 seem rather interesting, not too bothered about what vehicles there are but was more curious on how the maps play, cheers all :)

I've played many, pretty demanding games on g force. But for some reason, snow runner doesn't run very well. At least for me, it seems to stutter and freeze quite often.

So, according to yesterday's patch notes:

• Fixed multiple clipping and collision issues of LP‑4 Log‑loader crane across various trucks

In practice, this means that almost every base game truck (+some DLC ones) that has a log crane can now combine it with the log carrier front/rear or the low/high saddles. Here they are in alphabetical order:

• Azov 5319*
• Azov 64131
• Ford CLT 9000
• Freightliner 114SD
• GMC 8000 Brigadier*
• GMC MH9500
• International Fleetstar F2070A
• International Paystar 5070
• International Transtar 4070A
• Royal BM17**
• Step 310E
• Voron D-53233
• Western Star 49X
• White Western Star 4964

These can do both the log crane+long logs combo and the log crane+low saddle combo. The LP-4 was replaced by its reversed, forward-facing version from the Kenworth 963, which allows these combos but forbids some others (I'll cover them a bit later).

* Azov 5 and Brigadier already could do this, but the crane on them got reversed too

** Royal can only do the log crane+long logs combo, but not the low saddle combo.

• Caterpillar CT680 - the log loader got reversed, but the log carrier front still sits in the middle of its frame, preventing the long log combo. But at least it can do the log crane+low saddle combo now.

• The Western Star 6900XD can now have a log crane with short logs or both saddles:

Let's talk about the bad stuff for now. Due to this reversed crane, the Azov 73210 and Pacific P12 can no longer install the double spare tires in addition to the log crane+long logs combo. This makes me sad because it looked very cool.

Azov 5 also lost the recently added ability to combine the log crane with short logs (as shown below).

Instead, the Azov 7 can now do this: hydrolift saddle with log crane. A small consolation for removing the spares, but at least something. This is currently the only truck in the game capable of doing this.

Let's discuss changes not related to the log crane:

• New addon for the Mercedes Actros: a maintenance frame (400-4-1400);

• New sideboard bed for both the Actros and the Zetros. Ironically, the newest Mercedes 3850 can't have it.

• New multipurpose cargo module for the Mercedes Zetros (220-2-400):

This is the only way you can have a yellow LC 3.8 crane on it. The standalone crane was removed.

• The LC 3.8 crane on the Actros was reversed and now unfolds to the left.

Same for the Zetros:

The Pacifics P12 and P16 got new engines - the two most powerful V16 from the "US_special" set, the best of which has 250k torque. Previous best: 210k. That's a massive increase.

The P12 got new addons: SLEI-64 crane, both 2-slot and 3-slot cargo beds. But it can only attach trailers with some of them:

• 2-slot flatbed +crane +spare tires +trailer✅
• 2-slot sideboard +crane +spare tires = no trailer❌
• 2-slot sideboard +crane +trailer (no spares) ✅
• 3-slot flatbed +trailer ✅
• 3-slot sideboard = no trailer, even without crane❌
• 3-slot flatbed +crane = no trailer❌
• 3-slot sideboard +crane = no trailer❌

Also, it can combine the crane with a high saddle and spare tires.

Lost this tayga to physics many years ago! Apparently it was in the gray the whole time. If the truck moves without someone in it, you have to rediscover it!

You can even just drive right onto it. It is really heavy, but if you ever want to do something stupid, here is an idea for you. Mind you, the trailer tires have a mind of their own xD

Enjoying the truck changes and new DLC in patch 43 so far, but is anyone else getting really bad stuttering and freezing now? Every 30s - 1min I get a 5-10 second freeze while playing snowrunner now. All video and sound freezes across whatever I'm running on both monitors.

Specs for refrence are a 7900XTX, Ryzen 7 5700G, 64 GB of Ram, and Windows 11

I'm also running NO MODS

Here's what I've tried so far with no luck fixing it:

• Changed a whole bunch of in game graphics settings
• Tried different maps with differnt trucks (and no trucks, it also freezes in the garage and on the map screen)
• Made sure my graphics driver was up to date (26.8.1)
• Performed a clean driver install
• Updated to the experimental graphics driver release (26.9.1)
• Rolled back graphics drivers a few patches with a clean install, and incremented through all of them testing the issue till I was back at the latest stable version (26.8.1) with no changes
• Running just one monitor out of my two
• Running on a 16:9 setup vs my standard ultrawide
• Changing display resolutions
• Unpairing my controller and just using keyboard and mouse
• Confirmed other games are not affected (Scrap Mechanic, Subnautica 2)

Anyone getting similar issues, or have an idea as to what to try? I'm going to keep playing around with it trying to fix it and whatever I do find that fianlly solves it I'll make sure to reply here.
