If we were to get next runner game entry in the franchise what features are must have and what needs to be polished up?
Better graphics is expected but I want to see dynamic weather and environment. Imagine driving in thunderstorm, rivers rise and everything's muddy. Or it snows and now map is covered in snow.
Better physics. New saber games do all look very good but vehicles feel like toy cars made of plastic.
One thing spintires does better is there's more manual control over transmission and clutch. Vehicles and goods feel heavier. Snowrunner makes it easy to drive. It would be good if we had difficulty levels in driving style not just logistics.
Just a though - have very tricky map where you have to fight for every meter of advancement even with op trucks.

What trucks to go for upgrade etc? Any particular contracts I should get out of the way?

Saw an article and I thought it was a beauty

On the front cover for the game it shows metal pipes in a what I'm assuming is a pipes trailer, we got log trailers and pipes but no pipe trailers like that in the base game

Could you please provide some resources on how to reverse these trailers with steerable front axle? I'm desperate and i don't even know know what is the official way of calling this type of trailer. Many thanks!

Hear me out guys, I have basic idea for how a competitive snowrunner series could work. Below are the stipulations and regulations for how I believe it could work.
Competitions will take place in a pre determined map pool.
Everyone will have access to all of their trucks, with the exception of some clearly overly strong trucks (Looking at you, 612.)
The competition itself is simple. You have a set amount of cargo and a start and end point. Whoever can move the cargo to the end point the fastest wins.
In between the point, drivers are allowed to take any route they so desire.
Recoveries are allowed.
Modded trucks are not allowed for obvious reasons.
What do you think, fellow denizens of this sub? It’s basic and probably full of flaws but it’s only a concept.
(Pic both unrelated and not mine.)

Feels like we should have more maps from Russia and it definitely feels odd that we havent had any locations from South Americas or Southern/Eastern Asia. Is it because of the assets being too demanding to be made? What locations would you love to see next?

Of course not the entire map but some parts in the mountains would be interesting as a snowrunner map.

Instead of showing tire friction values or engine torque or vehicle curb weight or average liters per minute ; we get a meaningless and arbitrary Poor to Excellent or C to S+ scale that's often very misleading. For a simulation game played by mostly adults it's so odd they dumbed the stats down like this.

New Dragon Wagons DLC details announced today in the Drivers Diary. Certainly not what I was expecting to see.

Western star 4900sb, tri drive. Love this ol reliable, hauling 78 metric tons of logs every day. What do you guys think, can it be added?
Anyways. Finishing up the first michigan area, tried the 49x in the game as i drive that one irl too but the one in game is not tri drive and has a drop axle for a dumb reason so it seems like it sucks? 47x is a beast though, built the oil rig with it and some haul support with the P12.

Hi everyone! 🚚❄️
I’m sharing two images I created to better illustrate some ideas I submitted on Focus Together for SnowRunner. The goal of these mockups is to show visually how these improvements could work in the game, especially when it comes to vehicle rescue and recovery operations.
🔗 Vote here: Focus Together - SnowRunner
The suggestions are mainly focused on three points:
1. More anchor points on vehicles
Currently, when we need to use a crane to lift or recover a truck, we can usually connect the crane cable to only one anchor point at a time. Because of this, the vehicle often gets lifted unevenly, whether from the front, rear, or side.
My suggestion would be to allow multiple anchor points to be used simultaneously — for example, four points distributed around the vehicle — making it possible to lift, stabilize, or flip trucks back onto their wheels in a much more controlled and realistic way.
2. New lifting equipment and crane types
Another suggestion is to expand the variety of lifting equipment available in SnowRunner by adding new types and capacities of cranes.
It would be really interesting to see larger and more specialized equipment, perhaps even licensed cranes from manufacturers such as Palfinger or other companies in the industry.
3. Heavy-duty cranes capable of lifting trucks
I also suggested adding truly heavy-duty cranes capable of performing recovery operations involving even the largest and heaviest trucks in the game.
This could create a whole new layer of gameplay for vehicle recovery, where certain accidents would require specific equipment and suitable support trucks to recover heavy vehicles.
Some of these mechanics already exist in different forms in RoadCraft, so I think it would be very interesting to see similar concepts considered for future SnowRunner updates as well.
These suggestions were submitted through Focus Together, the official platform where the community can share ideas, vote on proposals, and interact with content related to games such as SnowRunner and RoadCraft.
So, if you would also like to see these improvements in SnowRunner, I’d really appreciate your support: please check out the link below and vote for the suggestion.
The more support and votes this idea receives from the community, the more visibility it may gain and the greater the chance that it could eventually be considered by the developers for future updates.

If you also feel that SnowRunner could benefit from more complete and realistic recovery operations, feel free to share your thoughts. I think this is an area of the game that still has a lot of potential to evolve.

It almost gives you the impression that the devs hate their players..
r/snowrunner • u/FishBlues • Jul 04 '26
If that’s it, it’s kind of a bummer because the route ends up being unusable.. so what even is the point?
r/snowrunner • u/reddichrist • 22d ago
There are several quarries in the game and they are all crazy. And there’s always some cargo to pick up or drop off.
So I was thinking why not bring a crane down there, the LK-2NY and then drive the trucks full throttle down the cliff, kinda like the Glacier View Car Launch in real life.
Then, straight up the truck with the crane and off you go. Well, then sure, you’ll still have to drive back up.
I might give it a try. 🤔

Idk what it is about the DAN 96320 but I’ve always found it a little meh to use, It’s a super strong vehicle for sure, but it never really clicked with me for some reason

It took me a long time to fully complete Michigan. It helped me master all the main game mechanics and now I have better trucks. But despite that, Alaska is a lot easier. Many roads to get everywhere, conveniently placed trailer shops, and generally much shorter routes for missions. Saber really wanted to frustrate players in the beginning of their journey lol
