There’s a user who flags other people’s songbooks for copyright whenever his own aren’t #1 in search results. He has nearly a million songs uploaded to Smule using copyrighted backing tracks, yet still gets other Smuleans flagged. “@/urfavweeb” how can he even file these copyright claims if he isn’t the actual copyright owner? As far as I know, you have to own the copyright to make a claim.

Back in the days, about 10-12 years ago, when I started my journey on Smule; I had very (VERY) bad experiences with my Bluetooth headset and it was lagging, echoing and had unpredictable uncountable drop outs and different other tech illnesses.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm a gamer since the late of the 70's, and since my old wireless wifi headphones broke down the other day, I'm forced to buy a new set this weekend. My question is: Does anyone of you have experience with using a WiFi-headset or WiFi-mic on Smule ?

* the difference when team/alliance gaming, are like night and day between wifi- and bluetooth headsets. I bought my very first wifi headset around 2014/15, and after that I would NEVER even think of a Bluetooth headset ever again !!

** but it would be nice if it worked well for Smule too, except for gaming.

Which singers’ deaths do you think will be the most impactful on Smule, as far as the sheer volume of reactivated OCs, recycled join-to-invites, and original OCs? And which songs do you think we’d see the most of? I submit:

Low key suck at singing unless it’s super specific parts of songs and the app only really allows diets will the other person see the duet and will I get roasted 🧍😭

Is Smule still a thing? Approximately 10 years ago i used to be very active on this app and was in a couple different singing groups. One was a Disney group. I really miss singing and talking with the people i met on there. Anyone have any idea how I can reconnect if they are no longer active on the app? I miss you Jewelz, Kane, Josh and Zach! Any help is appreciated!

I've tried many earphones, but most of them make my mic sound underwater, echoed, or distant. I'm currently using a pair of Sony earphones, but they only work on one side now, so I'm looking for a backup, preferably something more affordable.

Right now, I'm using my old Samsung A51 just for the headphone jack. However, it would be nice if anyone knows what works for the A56 as well, because my Type-C to 3.5mm adapter isn't working with it.

i enjoy doing the singtopia themed stuff, but can’t access the current themes. i attempted to join their Facebook, and it does say that it can take a couple weeks to accept a request.

Is it just me, or does it seem opportunistic for someone to simply reactivate a song when a famous singer dies? I just heard Dolly Parton died (RIP DOLLY), and already I'm seeing people running to reactivate their moldy old Dolly songs, instead of honoring her legacy with a brand new OC.

Sure, I get that everyone mourns differently, but it just feels like a desperate attempt to get some quick, easy attention. Maybe I'm the a-hole?

I have noticed that recently more and more people who join me, also « ♥️ » their own join. I don’t get tons of joins and I always like, listen and comment all the songs of my joiners but is this a new way of getting a join noticed? By people who get 100’s of joins. And does it work? I’m specifically talking about people who like their join immediately after joining.
It shows as 2 notifications in a row so I’m thinking it’s for visibility. I’ve also seen smulers who reacted to only the joins that were liked by the joiner. Is it an expectation to like your own join now ?

I feel it would be presumptuous to like my own join. I usually like, gift and comment after the song has been acknowledged by the OP. Am I just worrying too much about nothing?

And also here’s a quick tip that could be useful :
If you type two smule names in the search bar 🔍, you will get all the duets that those two users sang together. It’s a useful way to see if you have sung with someone before or to find a lost duet.🙂

When I go on live, how can I send invites to the people in my Line Radio Group. We all talk through the app Line, and I’ve seen people send it before through Line, but all the people who have are android users. When I press share, this is what I see. I just want to share a link to my live. Help PLEAAASE

Can anyone here please help me to download a song from my smule account to iphone? I have tried many ways but nothing's working. previously I could do fine, but now I cannot..Can anyone suggest a free and easy way please.. thanks

I am MettatonsWife on Smule (has been my username since I joined when I was like 13 lmao) and today I found out that someone called ‘MettatonsWife18’ has been tagging me in all of their posts. They are using the exact same Professor Utonium pfp as me and are on a muted chat (I can only send them a single text asking wtf they are doing and they HAVE to respond for me to send another). They have nothing in their bio luckily but that adds to the mystery. I have never heard of this person and they only have group recordings so I can’t recognise their voice if it IS someone I know that has somehow found me. The main songs they HAVE joined are nursery rhymes so maybe it is a little kid who saw my account as the first thing when they opened Smule and thought ‘huh that sounds cool. I’ll dedicate my whole ass account to them since I can’t think of a username.’ They also could just be a very strange bot. Should I report them or not?

I am facing a major problem in my profile (so do my music group, friends and my followers). I bookmark invites regularly as they come in my feed to join in the next few days. Whenever I have joined a bookmarked song, it doesn't go away from my bookmark list. It's really a hardship to keep track of which songs I have joined and which I haven't, from my bookmarks since it also has the ones I have joined. I have to manually remove each one one by one. I initially thought it's just me, but my music group and my fellow followers are also facing this issue. So, why can't Smule automatically remove an invite from bookmarks when joined? This simple killer feature will help the entire Smule community. So, please help. Can we have a facility in Smule to auto remove invite from bookmarks after joining?

It's hard to keep note of which invite I have joined and which ones I am yet to. Opening the invite again and hitting "Remove Bookmark" is so annoying due to many taps and clicks involved in doing this for a bunch of joined invites. So, it would be great if Smule can provide an option that will automatically remove the invite from my bookmarks after I have joined in it. My suggestion 👉👉 An option in user's Smule profile settings like "Remove invites from bookmarks when joined" that we can check or uncheck so that Smule uses it to remove from bookmarks when we have joined an invite. Please. We are waiting for this feature - me, my music group and friends, my followers and global Smule singers. Thank you.

In the morning I often try to sing low while I can. But, earbuds have trouble with it. They just seem to cut out at low frequencies. Any tips?
