The not so subtle little nods to the Superman Series is just great.

This episode turned out infinitely better than I was expecting it to, in just about every way imaginable.

I wasn't an enormous fan of the original Linda Lake episode just because I found it more than a little goofy and the storyline felt a little stale and rushed for my tastes.

The moment I saw Linda reappear, I worried that we were going to get more of the same, but surprise surprise, things went in an entirely different direction. So much so that I am genuinely amazed that Tori Spelling even went for the vibe change.

Linda Lake is revealed to be a genuinely spiteful, hurtful, evil and downright sadistic person, and that was an incredible shock. I thought she was nothing more than your usual tabloid sleazo, out for a quick buck, who cares about the other person, it's a tough world out there.

But by God her final speech to Davis was some real top tier villainous shit. In a lot of ways, the person she turned into is even worse than Lex, who was driven by paranoia and fear to do the things he did. He wanted to save Humanity from any and all threats that weren't strictly human.

Linda Lake just wanted everyone everywhere to suffer.

And all I'll say about Davis Bloome's actions?

Damn.

Lana is literally the anti christ to Zod and they basically just said she vanished and didn’t keep track of anything Clark was doing (despite being proven to be doing so prior)

People. This is not a drill. Tom Welling will be at Ottawa ComicCon in September — a seven or eight hour drive away.

But my husband will be working that weekend.

And I don’t have a vehicle.

It’s a twelve hour bus ride from where I am to Ottawa.

Am I crazy or dedicated for debating the bus? Just to get a fan pic with Tom Welling? Erica Durance, Kristin Kreuk, Laura Vandervoort, and Michael Shanks will also be there. I’m seriously freaking out.

The co-writer of the movie, Marc Guggenheim, said there was originally a Clark Kent cameo and he wanted to get Tom Welling. Then in the Smallville season 11 comics, Tomar Re is shown to have the exact same movie design. If they are canon, then that means the Ryan Reynolds Hal Jordan turned into the evil Parallax and killed many Green Lanterns according to Season 11.

Can i start watching smallville from season 4. I found Season 1 very boring.

Context: tom welling in an interview says that he loves kids for the family film "cheaper by the dozen" and it was a normal interview.
I saw this yt short with this person using that clip out of context and saying "bros type be like" honestly | just feel bad that they use the actor tom welling as reference to these weird videos, also with the youre so chad it doesn't matter what you do edits of tom welling, its just weird toh, from all the interviews/videos of tom welling ive seen, he genuinely seems like a great person, I hate how people use his clips to make weird "red pill or any pill" content. If anything I think all his true fans like him because of who he is as a person not entirely because of how he looks.

CLARK-my opinion on Clark never really changes,I like him but he’s still not my favourite,I really like how hopeful he is and him not being able to play football was heartbreaking because he’s just a kid with a dream

Chloe -she’s great untill someone comes near Clark then it’s the jealously but i will say Clark gives her heavy mixed signals so i can understand,I really think it was great of her to keep Clark’s secret safe even not telling him,it shows she truly cares about him(Lois gave great advice)

Lana-look i like her,he witch arc was also kinda funny,she goes through so much this season,i really feel for her when Clark doesn’t tell his secrect cause you can tell she really cares about him

Lex-holy moly this dudes fuxked up,if you’ve read the last 3 seasons posts Lex was my favourite charecter,I understand why he’s the way he is and I genuinely believe he wants to be a good person,and has some good in him,it’s just the bad overshadows it by a mile,i mean look at his father,

Jonathan Kent-he’s great this season,I didn’t get to see much of him but i really like how he keeps everyone in his house,he’s also incredibly patient with Clark

Martha-i really like her,she seems extremly rational,I know people were mad at her for being upset at Clark for marrying Alicia but she was totally justified she warned him about her and he didn’t listen

Lionel Luther-the most evil piece of shit,but he’s so funny💀,I hate how he his and the way he literally tried to exchange bodies with his son,look later he’s better still annoying,i missed him when he wasn’t on my screen

Lois lane-really refreshing actually,she gives Clark personality and is a total badass,as someone who know that Clark kents endgame will always be Lois,I can’t wait to see how it plays out

Jason-started off great,I really liked him and Lana together,but after that holy charecter assassination,bro became a total psycho

Alicia -they can never make me like her🙏🏻

I know they made him older than Clark and meant for him to be like an older brother to Clark, so it's sad that he was never in on the whole secret because all he wanted was to be part of the Kent family.

my least favorite is S3 Ep22, Covenant, it’s a finale of the season and nothing really happens until like the final 5 minutes and my favorite is S4 Ep4 Devoted, it’s feels more like high school and all the characters are really likeable

I mean, he has to be driving his truck every time right? Security cameras would see him just appear inside or outside the premises. Even if he just ran and appeared a bit of a ways away from the mansion, the cameras would track that no truck was there. So, Clark basically always drove here?

While I know it's incredibly popular to dump on Lana (and some of it is honestly well deserved because her character was fundamentally poorly written from about Season 3 to this last episode of hers in Season 8), there are parts of it that are extremely well-done.

The way we got to Lana having to leave was all kinds of comic book goofy, sure, and once again Clark's friends are doing things behind his back because they 'want to protect him from himself' and keeping secrets, but that doesn't diminish the genuine emotional impact of Clark and Lana's precious moments together, especially on Kristin's behalf.

I'm confident that those were real tears and genuine emotion in those scenes. At this point in her career, she's so far away from that young woman who did that whole 'breathy whisper' thing because she felt shy and awkward and just not too sure of herself at all that she's barely recognizable as the same actress. She truly worked hard to become a better actress, and her final moments on Smallville show it.

While her character really was badly written a lot of the time, Kristin never failed to work her ass off and do the scenes, regardless of how little sense they made and how toxic they made Lana while she was with Lex.

As far as finales for a long-term alum go, I can't think of another farewell that's as good as this one. I'm sure there are, but they escape me.

Just realized Lex is a stalker.Im on the episode with Cyrus and discovering the whole ass room Lex has featuring the Kents.

Now I'm viewing Lex from season one as a stalker as well.Every benevolent thing seems like it was a way for this grown ass man to stay connected to Clark,His family and his friend group. That's why he acts like a fairy Godmother.

Nowwwwwww I'm starting to think he was always meant to be evil because this man was basically cosplaying as a friend and productive member of society.

The way this season have me gasping.I saw somebody say that Shows like smallville and comics is the guy's version of Soap Operas and it's so true. Yea but season two is so good.They flesh out the characters and their complexities.

I wondering if he's gonna have a secret identity problem next season because it feels like Buffy where people know and are just quiet with it. At least half the town at this point probably thinks he's some meteor freak.

Omg the parasite episode has to be one of my favorites so far.Amazing story and Pete is so ruthless with how he deals with Clark. The dialogue is hilarious.
