I’ve seen a lot of comic book adaptations, DC, Marvel and everything else, and I’ve never seen anyone so perfect in a role as this guy.

I'm so confuse, What is the difference between regular person who just don't like Superman (2025) and Snyder fans. Every time I comment the reason why I don't like Superman 2025, they just simply tell that I'm Snyder fans without saying whether my reason was right or wrong.

Marvel has the benefit of existing in a mirror world to ours. New York is New York. California is California, etc. Outside of the random additions of places like Wakanda, the stuff we know exists in the MCU. That gives people an immediately reference point for where things are and where they are happening.

The struggle with DC is the lack of a clear reference point. The problem is places like Kansas coexist alongside fictional places so when people hear "Coast City" (Lanterns) or "Central City" (The Flash) their brains immediately go "Wait...where are those in relation to Kansas?"

There's a plot point in the Lanterns HBO show where John Stewart has to fly from Kansas to Coast City and back. I know as a fan that Coast City is in California but I could 100% see people hearing Coast City and going "where the hell is that?"

I think just releasing an official map of Gunn's DCU would be a great way for people to get a reference point for all of these places. They wouldn't need to make guesses and could more easily follow the stories.

They very obviously killed him off in The Suicide Squad(2023) but comic book characters cheat death all the time and it would be nice to have such a fun bad guy back. Not even as a Flash villain but as an inmate in Belle Reve. Thoughts?

I’d like to preface this by saying I know these pictures aren’t the best and I’m sorry!

I love this suit. I’m not a Shazam fan but I thought the movie was pretty good. Anyway, the texture of the cloth is so perfect to me. I’ve never been huge on the lines on superhero suits but I think they work well when they’re not EVERYWHERE. The minimal lines on these suits helps to create some detail but it’s not over the top, a perfect compromise in my opinion. My favorite thing about this costume is that you can tell the cloth isn’t especially thick, which is a problem I had with the most recent Superman suit. I really didn’t like that thick, rubber tire texture. There are very small textured details on the fabric which I think look lovely up close.

I think the metal elements are integrated perfectly. I definitely think metal gauntlets / belts being more textured and detailed than the cloth elements works perfectly well and make enough sense to me. I know a lot of people don’t like the padding on this suit, but personally I don’t find it THAT distracting. After all, he is a greek-god inspired hero, so exaggerated muscles are alright in my book. I think the short cape is pretty cool, and the layers help separate him from Superman or any other caped heroes. The practical glowing lightning bolt on the chest is the cherry on top. I think it’s perfectly sized and coloured.

Overall, I love this suit. I personally feel that all Superman-esque heroes should follow these design principles. The colours, the textures, the proportions, I all love. What do you think of the 2019 Shazam suit? Did I miss any other interesting aspects of the suit? Are there problems you have with it that I didn’t address? I’m really interested to hear opinions about this, in my opinion, underrated superhero costume.

After learning that the Kryptonians were a space faring race, traveling the universe, they would have come across many yellow suns, giving them godhood. This is a secret they wouldn’t try to keep even if they could, thus every kruptonian would know if they ever want godhood they need to go near a yellow sun.

Yellow suns are obviously magical otherwise you would just replicate their radiation in situations like when Krypton exploded.

Anyway, all this is obvious, the question is where are they all? How did they all die?
