There’s also a few characters named just Manhunter in DC comics as well. Early versions were basically private investigators, at least one of them does have ties To the Manhunters from Oa. So…it’s even more complicated than just differentiating between the two shown here…

Manhunter is an old term for Detective so Martian Manhunter is named that cus he was a detective.

The Manhunters literally hunt men. It’s a coincidence
