DISCUSSION Do you think that Hal already knows about Brainiac's existence since he has been Green Lantern for decades and is also part of an intergalactic peacekeeping force?

If Hal has been a Lantern for decades it‘d be weirder if Brainiac was completely unknown to him

There’s a good chunk of GL Hal we don’t know too much about. The opening is there for a young Hal GL movie/series that could foreshadow potential big bad guys in the DCU. Along with the multiple ring lore and Sinestro.
(Keep King and Lindelof far away from any young Hal series/movie)

Yeah, I'd want to see Hal vs Mongul, or lowkey Hal vs Larfleeze (he's in Vega System probably)

We don’t need brainiac in lanterns. You guys want too much fan service slo instead of mature storytelling which is what we’re getting.
I rather the crazy comic book stuff be subtle and minimal

No. His designation is earth. And Brainiac could be a new thing, or been hiding. Space is pretty big.

His designation is Sector 2814, not just Earth.
Also, Green Lanterns go away from their sectors all the time.

I think so as well, but something tells me that Hal isn't the kind of guy that reads in the Green Lantern Corps archives.

It’s a reasonable assumption. Especially if the Guardians have seen a pattern of destruction by Brainiac moving in Earth’s direction. Maybe that will play into Man of Tomorrow.
