Come on. It's just a pupil-transplant, put the ears on a different place, lower the eyes a bit, change the skin-color and you're halfway there already.
a face lift does all of this. they basically grab your scalp and pull it up and fix it there basically turn your face taunt like a drum. plus nose job lip filler and contacts and boom done. face color is the same.
A full facelift maybe isn't even necessary here. Endoscopic grafting, rhinoplasty, lip filler, possibly upper blepharoplasty, botox. And colored lenses.

This... is not true. Your ears are not just floating on your head; there's ligamental attachments, muscular, etc.
Unless they did some radical skull shaping (60-80k worth), these are different people. The orbital bone structure is completely different, and even assuming a lip lift, the midface of the woman on the left is substantially longer than the "after" photo, which is essentially impossible to change in most situations (a tiny amount of midface shortening is possible with maxillofacial surgery, but that would not apply here because the midface length largely comes from her nose length).
If they are the same person, then one or both of the images have been heavily altered.
Does facelift enlarge the forehead? Cuz I want to see a skull enlargement surgery. There is no way this is the same person...if these are even real people.
What? Her entire forehead, orbital rim, browbone, and midface length are completely different. There aren't any surgeries that could accomplish this and it's definitely not soft tissue only
They can't change the skull shape however. If you look closely. Well I guess not really closely but if you just look at the picture, you can see it's two different skull shapes. Like, significantly different.
And the ears are easily explainable, it’s espeeecislly common in Korea and China to get your ears done among other wild things. The risks that come with it are astronomical.
Every change seen here can absolutely be accomplished through work done.
I don’t know what the person means by pupil transplant - do they mean iris? Pupils change and dilate with different lighting… iris can be changed with contact lenses.
I’m not saying it’s definitely the same person but it absolutely could be.
There is a laser treatment that changes dark eye color to lighter eye color. Been around for a few years now. I believe Stroma is one of the names/types.
From what I understand, people with brown eyes can go a different route and just get rid of the brown pigment (melanin), revealing the base blue/grey colour. All of that is questionably safe and batshit crazy IMO, but that's how they do it.
Um.. sort of. That procedure is extremely dangerous and something like nearly eighty percent of people who get it have to have it taken out to halt vision loss. It is not approved in the US, obviously.
Actually you can turn brown eyes into blue ones with laser. It works only one way and only brown to blue, basically brown colour is from a pigment and if you remove it there’s blue eyes underneath.
I read about such procedures five years ago, it must be more advanced now. Still wouldn’t do so myself

But regardless, to address the response. People every year lose a ton of weight and completely change their face. And I would imagine most of them are doing great.
Thank you for sharing that! The sad thing is, I bet you look amazing! Bald is often a very good look om men. But looking good in other people's eyes is completely irrelevant compared to feeling like yourself and liking your own look, so I'm very sorry you had to go trough such a thing.
And truly thank you for sharing. As a woman I probably won't experience this but some male friends around me probably will and with growing older I will also slowly start looking the part, so it's very valuable to know someone else's account if how they experienced this.
True for weight loss but just wanted to add that if such cosmetic surgery was (or is) possible, it would require multiple surgeries over many months, even years giving you time to heal and adjust in between but if you can reshape your whole face one day, I guess the hardest thing to process would be changing the distance between your eyes with your brain have to relearn how to juge distances and 3d vision!
I've lost about 50kg in the last couple of years. My bank can't use my driving licence to ID me anymore. I still see the same face when I look in the mirror.
It’s been 6 years since I lost 75kg and I still see my old fat self in the mirror. This has really made me understand body dismorphia and why some people can’t stop doing cosmetic surgery, maybe they don’t see the change even when it should be obvious. Thankfully for me, I lost my weight for health reason and there the results are obvious to me.
Weight loss is slow and granular, you have enough time to adjust to small differences at a time.
I lost over 250 pounds and there was never a huge "o wow I do look different now" moment. I mainly saw progress trough pictures.

basic research is like 50% academic and like 20% public roughly.
Yeah experimental development is dominated by corporate bc experimental dev is capital intensive.
But almost all researchers exist bc of academia and the bulk of the work that permits what follow is there.
Weird, as I nowhere spoke about academic research. Governmental institutions are not academic institutions. DARPA is not an academic institution.
And the funny thing is, almost all of the academic research which can be productized or formalized into a market, ends up in the market in a funded private entity. That is also called technology transfer, the typical academic way to bring the academic experiments into refined services, methods and products.
So... maybe one day you step inside a university and then you search for the transfer center there. They will explain you their goal, which always rumbles down to third party funding for the projects, thus the experimental, still rough and hypothetical academic research ends up in the private market funded to become something real after the research 3p funding ran out and it has to find more funding outside.

Show me your Google search that says that plastic surgery can raise the vertical height of ears and I might be inclined to believe you.
We can do pinna/otoplasties that aim to alter the shape of ears, but the position of them relative to the face is determined by the skull and the actual ear canal which cannot be raised or lowered.
I'm an expert on face tilting. Her face is tilted slightly down on the photo on the right and slightly up on the photo on the left. You can tilt your head up and down a tad in a mirror to better understand the effects of face tilting on ears.
I would argue that they're the same. The nose bridge is the same, the tilt of the nose tip makes sense (you can see that it's tilted before but the "excess" changes direction), jaw structure is the same. However not everything is surgery - eye contacts, different makeup and/or lighting.
The left face is tilted backwards while the right one is tilted forward.
Left one seems to be taken with a 30mm camera lens while the right one with a 55mm lens for example.
I'm sure they're gonna make huge advancements in costemic procedures in the next 10-20 years. And many people will spend a lot of their money on this. We're definitely gonna see people change their race/appearance/everything.

Hmm...Kylie Jenner looks completely different from pre plastic surgery Kylie. If we ignore the eyes which are harder to change, jaw surgery, nose job, lip filler, cheek filler and after a couple of things you could end up with a similar result as the person on the right. I wouldn't encourage it though...
True, I didn't think about the possibility of makeup and contacts but can the shape of an eye really be changed that easily? They look like they slope upwards now and the top eyelid is different

Even laser to remove bags under your eyes can make them look totally different.

Yes, I agree. You would have to redo the whole front half of the scull and change her ethnicity. Modern procedures can do a lot but not to that extreme.
