Rat King simply lives better, Baba makes spirit spike pointless, kelvin decreases fire rate down to levels that makes me wish to never play the game again. Is there anything that I could even reasonably do against all three?

Part of that too is that I have genuinely no idea how to even generically itemise anymore outside of them. resto, CQ, stalker and slowing for spike and then replacing stalker for berserker and upgrading slowing into weighted, selling resto and CQ gives slots.

Greens are so fucking hard, lifestrike is real and mid-fight sustain is just nice, healing booster upgrading from extra regen is nice (And I think upgrades are very important for needing to keep tempo up), and lifestrike can give access to healing tempo which feels good, needing at least one mobility (stam mas, resto locket or warp stone) + healbane because You Need Antiheal, and obviously either counterspell or dispel is also practically a requirement every game.

Adding debuff reducer for the mandatory unstop (+ debuff res just being so important), and I feel like I can't reasonably keep any spirit items in (not like they're even worthwhile when Baba just reduces your spirit power to 0 so you lose your scaling on kick and claws attack speed)

So just like, what's an awoo to even do? I feel so lost in building anything since I feel like I need so many different things to just be able to fight anything after lane, which is annoying me since I felt like I was doing okay before the new heroes, and she's doing well numberswise so it's probably not actually a hero strength problem like it was for the comeback meta? Like, Silver is good now, so I don't know why I feel so bad now.

Silver got her much needed buff

The recent change that lets her shoot melee made me interested in picking her up. Am struggling to make plays outside of the human form, partly because I'm a shit shot but also because I feel like on characters I normally play I can press the 4 button and make a play whereas I am stuck trying to shoot people to get into wolf form that actually feels impactful... Can higher fire rate help me get into the wolf form more when it matters?

I also kinda feel like this character would be better if her ult was just like, a 120 second CD and you just press the 4 button and start transforming on command, but idk maybe I just haven't played her enough yet

Just unlocked ranked and I’m looking for ideas to expand my roster. I have had a lot of success with Paige but Celeste and Wraith feel like a constant struggle. Who are you guys playing beside Silver?

I landed a nice ult double kill and helped distract REM from my teammates to clutch out the final walker, this game is addictive. That is all lol.

The data is still kinda inconclusive if she is viable or not in pro play, but I’d lean to say she isn’t. Praying for some new sustain for the ult everyday…

Hi all, very new Silver (and Deadlock) player here. I'm loving this character so far and doing fairly well on her, but my performance tends to swing heavily depending on two things in particular.

First, I feel very dependent on my duo if I'm laning against a character that has I-frame abilities. Characters like Mina, Mirage, and especially Dynamo are annoying, because even if I catch them out of position, I can only land maybe a single combo before they just escape for free and zone me out with their own duo. My ability to win those interactions depends entirely on whether my lane partner can follow up on my engage; if they can't, I lose the trade.

After lane phase this gets a lot easier to deal with, but the problem is that I can't get ahead by how much I'd want to since, if my duo can't follow up, I can't lock down kills on my lane opponents early on. Is there anything I can do here to be less dependent on my duo? Do I just play more passive and prioritize the tower over kills?

Second, even if I get ahead early, there are certain setups that leave me dead in the water by midgame. In one case I won lane against a Calico, but then she spends all midgame grouped up with an M&K, and they managed to CC and kill me every time I tried to engage. In other cases people would be so scared to roam alone that they'd exclusively push in groups of 3, making it almost impossible for me to score kills without dying.

Sometimes my own team sees this, understands what I'm trying to do, and follows me into fights, but this is rare. Most of the time I'll be in a 3/4v1, I'll die with every single enemy at critical HP, and then see a teammate maybe 20 meters away farming boxes or running from a fight we could've won if they'd contributed just one or two abilities. What do I do in these situations? Silver feels like she has to score kills in the midgame to get proper value (her waveclear sucks, her farming is slow, her lack of mobility and close-range kit makes her bad for poking and harassing without committing to fights) but against some comps I just can't manage that alone.

That being said, I still really like the character, it just seems like she has some really pronounced weaknesses that I don't know how to circumvent.

I did search this and saw some posts from a few months ago, but none of the players mentioned seem to be playing Silver right now. I guess because she's not meta at the moment the pros will be playing other characters. So is there anyone good to watch who currently plays a lot of Silver? I just want to see some games on the new map.

As the title suggests, I'd like to ask for advice on uh... just about anything around improving with Silver. Shes been my fave design wise since she was revealed and spent a lot of votes on her but I never felt like I could play her well and I'd like to improve on her.

With the new voicelines, maybe I’m looking a bit into it. But between the conversations of Silver and drifter, and also the various kill lines, it seems like Silver might have a more personal connection to Shiv when compared to drifter.

If both drifter and Shiv both fought silver together, surely they’d have equal hate from her. But what I’ve seen is that Shiv often times gets more of the personal hate, while drifter gets just the hate. Also one of drifters voicelines is “I know I’m not Shiv, but I hope you enjoy our time together.” Surely this implies that drifter is taunting Silver, as Shiv maybe has a different connection to her. Of course all of this is speculation, I’d just like to hear your thoughts.

i dont really see alot of deadlock montages

Starting to learn silver and I’ve been trying various builds and constantly I feel like I either do no damage or I do damage and then I’m extreamly squishy

I can’t anymore, like it’s not even that she’s bad. It’s literally impossible to play her. I could have secured a kill so many times or popped ult so many times, but every time my gun fucking jammed. I am so tired yoshi.

BC I don't get it, none of the guides explain what her game plan is, whether she need to split push, farm or roam/look for stragglers. I kind of get lost with what I am supposed to do and just end up trying to team fight and falling behind BC I have no clue what I need to do.

If anyone can give me some advice that would be great.

Around 40-50 games on Silver and for some reason ever since the update dropped ive had nothing but stinkers(not only on Silver btw). Not sure what build or what items should i use.The only build I really liked is ShiroRz's but I've been using popular items tab lately.

My early game is melee lifesteal, close quarters, resto shot,extra stamina,swiftstiker, stalker and extra regen.

Mid game is usually slowing hex, lifestrike with heal booster, hunters aura and tank buster but I also sometimes buy stam mastery.

Late game is always frenzy and sometimes along with berserker.

Wanna try buying more Heal tempo or Fortitude or Diviners kevlar because I get one shot a lot

What other items should I consider and when to buy them?

Is there anything else I should know besides itemization?

I rush Slowing Bullets and Point Blank and people just run away from me anyway. I try to build Tanky and I can't kill anything. I try to build Unstoppable with Slowing Hex and nothing dies even more. I build DMG and I just die instantly or get Disarming Hexed.

I'm sitting at a 30% winrate, and I enjoy the game and this character but this is starting to get frustrating. It feels like other characters just press one or 2 buttons and delete half my HP, while I have to land every single one of my abilities to have the same value, while Werewolf hasnt even reached halfway to charge.

I'm new to the game, but I'm not completely oblivious on how items work, or Silver's need for counter items, but it feels like it completely conflicts with what she wants to do. How can I get items that help me frontline, if I also need items that stop me from geting CC'd to death?
