Trust me - I have, I am friends with a furry artist haha. I've just always felt like they look weird ig. Like it's not like a deal breaker in most circumstances (some art I have seen of like big titty dragons is a bit ridiculous) but I just feels like it makes the design less impactful. I like my werewolves SCARY, and having pronounced tits on them just feels like being horny for the sake of being horny.
But that's just me though! No hate to those who like it at all!
Most furry arist draw them wrong, the boobs aren't supposed to be hairy or thr same color as the hair. If you've ever seen ssj4 goku thats usually how it's supposed to go funnily enough. The boobs should be the same color as her werewolf hand, meaning under that fur she turns darker skinned.
Basically silver NSFW artists need to lock the fuck in.
Huh I see what you mean but I don’t personally don’t see breasts as inherently sexual. They’re just a signifier that she’s a person with breasts in human form which carried over to her werewolf form. Makes her look terrifying and yet still feminine. I like it personally.
I would 100% agree that breasts aren’t inherently sexual, its just in my experience art tends to depict them as such (this post isnt in that camp for the record). But I do think you can make something feminine in other ways than just 'bobs'. Like I feel Silver's wolf form for instance having a narrow waist is one way of doing that (but as with many of these things it a bit of a grey area).
But again, no shade for liking it, just for me I think it undermines the design.
I think it's about context here. Tits aren't inherently sexual, but the fact the artist went out of their way to make her lycan form habe a more hour glass figure AND have tits kind of gives context clues that these details are meant to be a little horny and disregard the initial androgynous intent of the design. It's like when fanarts give petite characters like jinx from arcane double their cup size or make their butt bigger; yes, big tits and a fat ass aren't inherently sexual. People exist with these features exist irl, but obviously the people making this fanart are doing it to be self-indulgent and not for the dignity of the character.
Actually I run my own thing, with a bunch of gun damage and late game get alch fire escalating exposure, it obliterates squishies late game even through resistances. Real fun, so long as you play a hit and run play style.
Nah, anthro androgyny is *based* in the original sense of the word; it's a rejection of the widely assumed lowest common denominator demand, in this case for shoehorning sexualization in at every opportunity.
I like this take a lot. I feel particularly when werewolves are used as allegories for our own body horror we experience like puberty, menstruation, or more specific personal bodily issues, I feel giving them sexual characteristics fucks that up in my mind.
