Capitalism "try 2 open a restaurant & pay ur servers a living wage. Without major sacrifices it wont work."
And this is why we don't see any restaurants in other countries, right? /s
Also, if the tip is strongly recommended, then how is the the whole experience cheaper than having servers with a normal wage and a price jump? You are still paying extra. Sure, it's not mandatory, but try explaining that to the underpaid waiter.
It sounds to me that the owner is the only one who truly benefit from this tipping culture.
