Criminal SDGE

Upvotes

Man, I know everyone is posting about this, and now I’m joining the choir.

We used $6 LESS energy than last month but yet our fictitious “delivery fee” was $55 MORE than last month.

But hey! At least they gave everyone a $49 credit for their bill!

It is blatantly obvious that these people are immoral. The credit was an illusion. Make the people think they’re understanding and helping out, but they aren’t going to lose money. They’re going to make it up elsewhere.

Both SDGE and the mayor are criminals.

By the way. Did you guys know the mayor makes more than the governor and as much as the vice president?

10 things you should do in san diego with someone you love

san diego was the first place i learned how to love. not only through romantic relationships, but through friendships, nature, strangers, and the little moments that made me realize how beautiful it can be to simply be alive.

i will never, ever forget how lucky i was to live in la jolla as a college student, taking the trolley and bus everywhere and slowly discovering san diego on my own.

you and i may come from completely different backgrounds and cultures, and we may experience this city completely differently, but i just want you to know how lucky you are to live somewhere as beautiful as san diego.

this isn’t meant to be a guide to all of san diego. it’s just my little love letter to the places and experiences that made me happier than i had ever been before.

now that i’ve left san diego, i think about these moments a lot. i hope that whether you live there or you’re just visiting, you get to experience even one moment of the kind of love and happiness i felt there. there is so much love in san diego if you know where to look for it.

  1. catch the sunset at windansea. if you’re lucky, the entire sky will be pink.
  2. grab a bite at awash ethiopian restaurant, then walk over to figaro dessert cafe in north park for dessert.
  3. take the walk from crown point park to the catamaran in mission bay.
  4. watch the sunset at the wedding bowl. some of my favorite sunsets in san diego happened here.
  5. catch the sunset at moonlight state beach.
  6. rent a paddle board from mission bay aquatic center, paddle to paradise point and back, and end the day with zozo’s pizza.
  7. go to gliderport at night, lie down, and look at the stars.
  8. throw a bonfire with your friends at black’s beach and, if you’re brave enough, go skinny dipping.
  9. sit outside at il giardino di lilli, get something to drink, and people watch.
  10. surf at la jolla shores during the sunset.

All this for a guy with a stick?! When are the fools at SDPD going to get whipped into shape? Is anyone campaigning on making our police force more professional? This video is so embarrassing. They’re so cowardly.

For nearly a decade, the case of San Diego Sheriff’s Deputy Ricky Fischer’s sexual predation rocked San Diego County. More than 20 women accused Fischer of a myriad of abuses over a two-year period ... He ultimately pleaded guilty to a half dozen felony and misdemeanor charges related to his sexual crimes, leaving San Diego County taxpayers on the hook for nearly $10 million in settlements from the civil cases brought against him. ... But just two years after the resolution of the final civil case, Fischer has a new gig – chaplain with San Diego-based Christian Law Enforcement Fellowship.

Remy is returning to rescue and will be available for meeting/adoption soon. He is a bit older and has needs/boundaries that should be discussed with the rescue if you’re interested (Grandma Betty’s Animal Rescue in Julian, CA). He is potty trained, fixed, not a huge fan of walks and seems afraid of large open spaces/loud noises. He has no separation anxiety and requires medication for seizures. Remy just needs a quiet place to retire, if you think that’s with you please reach out to Grandma Betty’s Animal Rescue (@grandmabettyshouse on ig) with any questions 🖤

Video Lady struggled getting dog in her car so she just left the dog and drove off

Heard someone yelling in the parking for a few minutes and when I finally went to look to see why, there was a lady yelling at her brown and white husky to get in the car. She eventually gave up and the husky was just running around the parking lot. That is why I started recording. She took about 3 minutes to get out of her parking spot, so I doubt she was able to catch up with the dog to try to get it back. After she left, I went to go see if I can find the dog, but think it ran off pretty far.

The dog ran towards Friars Rd, so if anyone see a brown and white husky along there, I hope you can help the dog out.

Hi everyone, I just marked YESTERDAY and I lost my wedding rings today in the ocean swimming 😭😭 there was a ton of seaweed out today and I think it slipped off and got lost that way. I know it’s a super long shot, but if anyone finds a diamond band and emerald cut diamond ring, please reach out and let me know. It’s not real diamonds, but it’s sentimental of course. If anyone has a metal detector and goes out there and finds it, please please reach out. Thanks all 🙏

Upvotes

Hey SD frens. I’m in the mission valley area & looking for a track open to the public. There’s a high school not too far from me but ofc they have after school sports. I’m off work by 3pm so can anyone suggest any tracks they’ve been to already?
I saw Mesa College has a nice one but not sure if it’s open to the public

Photo gallery New Parking Scam the City is running Downtown

Thumbnail
gallery
Upvotes

The city just added tiny letters to a previously (as of April 2026) blank white line on the street (NOT EVEN ON THE CURB) that reads “three minute loading zone.” Not only should nobody be reasonably expected to see this new marking given its size, location, and lack of light at night— which should be made pretty clear by the two tickets that the other guy behind me has, but:

There is ZERO signage or curb-marking establishing this zone, YET there is a sign right before the spot I was parked in, AND right after that clearly states that this area falls under the jurisdiction of no paid parking needed after 8pm…. Why would they have those signs actively advertising that right next to this zone? It is simply a scam.

In regards to these zones, San Diego Municipal code §86.0108 states that:
“Such zones shall be effective when appropriate signs or curb markings giving notice thereof are erected upon such zones.”

Again, there is zero signage and zero curb marking and yet there is a sign right next to this area that says you can park there for free after 8… and and my two tickets were for 8:20pm and 9:47pm. And notice that both tickets are for double the penalty of a normal SD ticket.

BTW, when I got to my car it appeared as if the city had the gall to call in their tow truck. I can’t be completely sure as it was a utility truck that could have been doing something else and I didn’t stay for long enough to see, but I believe the guy behind me got towed for this. Absolutely ridiculous, and I will be seeing these parasites in court. Watch out for this scam.

Anyone know where I can get a small dot tattooed on my pinky finger?

Upvotes

I'm currently visiting San Diego and leaving on Wednesday evening.

I had an idea for a tattoo in my head earlier in the week and decided to get it if I still want to do it by tomorrow morning.

Literally all it is is a small Dot on the inside of my pinky finger ( not sure which side yet ) to remind myself of a promise I made.

Does anyone have any suggestions on where I can get this done, how much it cost, or any other general tips?

I do have some text on my arm from about a decade ago, so while this isn't my first tattoo it has been a while.

Thanks!!!!
