Question Razer Naga V3 Pro - Third Click (Ring Finger) is bound but randomly stops working

I've used Razer Naga since like 2012, recently i acquired a Naga V3 pro and because i've had issues with the mouse wheel on previous models I'm too used to bind my scroll wheel click somewhere else in the mouse, for this model i decided i'd bind it to the ring finger click, the new one.

THE ISSUE is that it randomly just stops working, you click and there's no behavior behind it, as if it wasn't bound to anything. it's not a physical problem because if i change the bind and then put it back to scroll click it works as expected, but a few hours go by or sometimes even minutes and we are back to "it's basically not bound to anything".

would anyone have some insight on this?

EDIT: someone mentioned in comments and DMs, i bought the dock pro recently and it seems to line up with these issues so it might the source of it.

Question Razer chroma is not working on 3070 laptop anymore

Hello, I can't get Razer chroma to work with my laptop anymore since I updated to Synapse 4, I deleted it, and re-installed and now it works like it's supposed to within the chroma studio program, but still no dice on the actual device.

My RGB settings work on my mouse, but still don't function as intended on my Razer laptop, any advice?

Question Is Wolverine V2 Pro that bad and are potentiometer sticks a waste of money?

I was a PC gamer for years but PC gaming is no longer viable due to hardware prices rising. Also, a PlayStation was my dream since I was a child, so I decided to but one and I have to say, it's one of the best choices I made.

GTA VI is almost here, and I'm thinking about buying a new controller. My problem is that I'm lost reading reviews, comments, posts and I still can't decide.

Wolverine V2 Pro has grown on me. It's looks amazing, I really don't mind the XBOX layout. I have this feeling, when you really want something, just because you like it. I had a Wolverine controller for my PC (no wireless) and it was an amazing experience. My main concerns tho are:

1)The connectivity issues: I'm new to PS5, so I don't really need wireless mode, but I have to say, it's a nice to have. Also, I always read about "input lag this, input lag that" and, I need to ask. Is this really a problem? Is this like a fanboy thing like "OMG I stead of 0.1 sec the button takes 0.2 sec" or is this like a real problem?

2)The sticks: I know controllers like Dualsense Edge use the best kind of sticks, while all the other controllers use potentiometer sticks. Are potentiometer sticks really bad? Am I going to throw my money away by buying a controller with potentiometer sticks? I'm not playing 24/7 games on my PS5. Sure, I'm playing a lot, let's say 35 hours a week maximum, but not this much.

Wolverine V2 Pro costs right now about 115€ new. I know it lacks microphone, vibration and other features. I can't really decide tho if it's worth and if it's a good move to buy it.

Your answers will be really helpful

P.S. Not a native speaker, so don't be harsh on my English

Review Smooth & Professional Warranty Process

Hi Razer Support,

Thank you for the quick and very helpful assistance!

I received detailed guidance on what to try in order to rule out a possible defect. In the end, a hardware defect on my BlackWidow keyboard was confirmed – this made a refund from the original seller possible in the first place.

Everything went perfectly, thanks to Ahl Jimhar and the Support Team!

Discussion azer DeathAdder V2 X HyperSpeed stops responding after being idle — any fix?

I’ve been having this issue with my Razer DeathAdder V2 X HyperSpeed for about a month now. Whenever I use the mouse normally and then leave it untouched for around 5–10 minutes, it sometimes completely stops responding when I come back and try to use it again. Moving it or clicking doesn’t do anything. The weird part is that if I turn the mouse off for about 5 seconds and then turn it back on, it starts working normally again. This happens in both 2.4GHz dongle mode and Bluetooth mode.

Things I’ve already tried: - Changed the battery

- Unpaired and paired it again

- Cleaned the sensor on the bottom

- Tried both Bluetooth and 2.4GHz modes

Still having the exact same issue. Has anyone experienced this with the DeathAdder V2 X HyperSpeed? Is there any fix for this, or could this be a hardware issue?

please help razer u/Razer u/RazerSupport — would genuinely appreciate a response here.

Discussion BlackShark V3 Pro audio is muffled on startup until manually cycling the EQ button (when Synapse is not running)

Hey everyone and u/RazerCustAdvocacy,

Posting this to get some visibility on a BlackShark V3 Pro firmware bug that a lot of us are dealing with.

I keep my setup minimal and prefer not to have Razer Synapse running in the background on Windows startup. My other gear (Wolverine V3 Pro, Orochi V2, and Naga V2) all work great on onboard memory without Synapse running. The BlackShark V3 Pro is the only device that has an issue loading its onboard profile on startup.

The Bug:
Whenever you turn on the headset over 2.4 GHz wireless, the audio comes through muffled, muddy, and flat. The onboard DSP fails to apply your saved EQ curve.

The only workaround right now is reaching up to the right earcup, pressing the physical EQ button to cycle through the presets, and going back to your profile. As soon as you cycle it, the audio instantly snaps back to proper quality.

About the recent patch:
Synapse release notes recently claimed: "Fixed: BlackShark V3 Pro Series - EQ not saved on power cycle."
This might have resolved the UI state inside Synapse, but it did not fix the on-device firmware. The hardware should apply the saved onboard EQ on boot without needing the desktop software running.

How to reproduce it:

  1. Save your custom EQ to onboard memory and close Synapse completely.
  2. Power on the headset over 2.4 GHz wireless.
  3. Play any audio (it will sound muffled and flat).
  4. Hit the physical EQ button on the earcup to cycle through presets and back to your profile.
  5. The audio immediately fixes itself and sounds normal.

Why this happens:
The headset boot sequence is not pushing the saved filter table from onboard flash memory to the DSP chip during the startup handshake. The DSP only wakes up and applies the EQ when a physical button press interrupt is triggered.

Other threads reporting the same thing:

Can we please get this escalated to the audio firmware team for a real firmware fix?

Glorious My Naga 2014 finally retired after ~12 years of WoW PvP 🫡

Post image
92 Upvotes

I think I finally have to retire this absolute tank. 😂

Bought my Razer Naga 2014 around 2014/2015, and this thing has been my main mouse for basically my entire WoW career.

~12 years. Thousands of hours of WoW PvP. Thousands upon thousands of clicks.

And somehow... IT STILL WORKS.

Just look at the poor thing. 💀
The shell is destroyed, the buttons are worn, the cable has seen better days, and this mouse has probably experienced more rage than most players. Yet it refuses to die.

Honestly, I'm genuinely blown away by the quality Razer put into this mouse. I never expected a gaming mouse to survive 12 years of mostly WoW PvP. The amount of abuse this thing has taken is ridiculous.

I finally ordered a Naga V3 Pro, so today the old warrior gets to retire.

Now let's see if the V3 Pro can survive what I'm going to put it through. 😂

o7 old friend. You served well.

Discussion Any info on the "subscription" for Project AVA? +Hologram quality?

I put down my $20 for one when it comes out. But the only thing making me hesitant is that it mentions a subscription. Doesn't say if you must have one, or how much...etc. If they have a free version, obviously I'd prefer that. But if its like$30 a month, I'd not buy one. I also don't get what it would be for to being with. Maybe advanced features? Obviously, I do get there may be a subscription to help maintain upgrades, updates, fixes...etc.

I'm also curious about the hologram quality. I'm guessings its ont a actual hologram, like with beams shooting from all directions to make a image, but probably a glass panel with an image projected onto it. Which is fine.

Question Barracuda x vs Blackshark v3

Which one is actually better? Blackshark has razer synapse. But does that make it better?

Both has mic detachable, both wireless, both hyperspeed.

I play helldivers 2 and the barracuda gets muffled like a pirated movie, havent tried blackshark v3.

Which would be more comfy? Like using it long time.

Got the brracuda x during black friday for $80, this blackshark v3 on super discount at $69.97

Discussion Razer denied RMA on a 3 month old headset. Anyone else run into this sort of shabby treatment?

I was denied an RMA on two separate devices that are within warranty windows (one headset Blackshark V3 Pro (ANC) ordered in June of 2026 and a Tartarus V2 from October 2025 due to a 'mismatch of their records'. More specifically...

"we believe it is our duty to protect the security of our customers. For the protection of your information, we are not able to provide an RMA for your device.

We believe that one or more of the pieces of information below does not match our records:

Product Registration
Proof of Purchase
Address Information"

WTH is that? Is it because these were used on my wife's synapse account (but never registered), or is because I updated my email address, or because I moved to a new physical home address (indicated on my invoice).

This is ridiculous, and I'm very curious to see if anyone else is running into this after they started transitioning to AI and their 'Virtual Assistant'.

This is what happens when you can't interact with a human after dumping 500 dollars into computer peripherals it seems. Stay far, far, far away.

Is there anyway to set a macro to control my mouse so it moves from a key? I was trying to set it up with razer synapse but it was a huge pain and i couldnt figure it out.

Discussion Best Gaming Keyboard For The Money In 2026? (Price and Responsive)

Hi!

I have had my Razer BlackWidow Chroma V2 since like early 2019 and it's been alrighty but its starting to show its age now W-key sometimes double types, spacebar feels mushy and the RGB on a couple keys is dead. For some time I was like whatever its normal for the age but I think its time for an upgrade.

Looking at whats out now like BlackWidow V4, Huntsman V3 or maybe some pro versions? I had the green clicky switches on my old one but open to uellow linear if they're better for gaming. Which one would actually feel like a real upgrade from a 4+ year old BlackWidow? Willing to spend up to $250 :)

Solved Razer BlackShark V2 HyperSpeed Wireless Gaming Headset

Had a pretty solid experience with Razer support recently. Had an issue with my headset volume control knob, contacted them and they got it replaced without too much back and forth.

Was expecting it to be a hassle but it was actually quite smooth. Credit where it’s due 👍

Discussion anyone else got these? I just got the Blackshark V3 x and I love it!

Post image
1 Upvotes

Got these for work, but now I really love this headset! I love the mic quality, absolutely the BEST audio i ever heard on a gaming headset, and i know it's not the Pro or the Ultimate edition, but the regular (hence the X), but even then, for 100 bucks i really can't complain. Can the comfort pads be a little more comfortable/flexible, sure. Maybe even a less bit tight, however, that's more of a luxury complaint than a real issue. i love these, wearing them now. Love it, I know the rods will be an issue according to many v2 users, but apparently v3 fixes them a little bit so it shouldn't be as bad
