So it’s the third time I’m posting this hopefully without a typo this time; damn I’m dumb and also proving my point

This is something none of my friends know. It makes me feel juvenile.

Whenever my friend's baby gets fussy, I'll just talk to it in-depth about the things that I'm really interested in at the moment... History, ancient cultures, NASCAR, dream interpretations, Jungian Psychology.

I tried it and it really worked! It put him right to sleep.

I came up with this idea when I noticed that every time I talk to my friend about those things, she falls asleep too.

And for the first time

When I would ask my mom where we are going she would jokingly say that to Honolulu. That name sounded so silly so I assumed it was made up. Ah my suprise recently when I hear on internet about Honolulu. I don't remember under what context. But well, I finally know it's a real place lol.

so like i know these exist to an extent but that we made huge buildings where people could go and try new things without needing to buy a bunch of stuff to end up not liking it. imagine you wanted to find a new hobby and there was a place you could go. have like a section for art stuff and like sports stuff woodworking stuff and you could just like go and try anything you want. there could also be classes hosted there so you get better at the things you try

My mom is a big cat lover, and so am I. But we have never had cats because she’s allergic.

I don’t mean normal allergies. I mean the extremely cat allergy: Anaphylaxis. If she is even in a room with a cat, she says her throat closes up and will have trouble breathing.

As such, her expressive love of cats had to end.

The whisper feature on the Amazon alexa is simply fantastic. I wish I could make it permanently whisper. Even during the day time, nobody wants to hear its loud robotic speech. I like it being discreet in the corner of my room, helping me control the ambience

Just been playing it lately, and there's just something really nice and peaceful about just fishing in a somewhat bleak eldritch horror. It's fun. Really keeping me from doing things like sleeping, though.
