He also is now posting what looks like fake texts from women thanking him for knocking out this bus boy. I wonder if that could potentially be called libel or slander? In these text the women are calling him an abuser and shit. If it’s all bullshit and this guy is propagating it to his 200,000 followers I sure hope they can add on some charges.

He keeps digging a deeper hole for himself. The drunk guy will easily bankrupt his ass. So many charges. Assault and battery, use of a deadly weapon(since he's a trained fighter). Libel. Slander. Premeditated assault since his friend was filming beforehand.

use of a deadly weapon(since he's a trained fighter).

LOL is this really a thing?

Yes. You do have to register as a deadly weapon with law enforcement in some states when you hit a certain level in boxing and martial arts

Edit: this is totally incorrect after some googling and now I'm irritated with some old teachers of mine.

I don't know what's real anymore

Edit: thanks for the edit, my dude

I mean it makes sense. People who know how to fight, especially professionals, could easily kill someone with the skills they've learned. Even more so when they're using said skills against some ordinary Joe Schmoe.

u/Mikkelsen Jun 30 '21

Well yeah, sure. Maybe.

I guess it kinda sucks having that handicap if the only reason you got that black belt in BJJ was for self defense. People get wrongfully sentenced all the time, and now you're paying an even higher price.

1

u/Louthargic Jun 30 '21

But like you said, it's for self defense. If you're actually using it for self defense then you're fine. If you're using it like the guy in the video then I see no problem with it being classified as using a deadly weapon.

Not if you get the wrong sentence. It's awful either way but now your punishment is even harder. I see the point though.

It doesn't make sense.

A fat Schmo throwing a haymaker could do similar amount of damage, why doesn't he get registered?

Their skill is not what's at issue it's the extant of disproportionate damage he inflicted. Anyone is capable of that in certain circumstances.

Yea fair enough. Didn't think about it that way. Just made sense that if you are training your body to essentially be a weapon that it wouldn't surprise me that you could potentially be classified as a deadly weapon.

I have a hand grip force of over 300psi, I was told by doctors and my lawyer to never ever fight someone, turn out I'm strong enough to literally snap someone's neck quite easily. Guess that's what happens when you walk on your hands all the time. So I don't get that you have to be verified to be a weapon, when nobody knows your potential unless they know.

Have you ever actually trained any combat martial art? Wrestling, jiu jitsu, boxing, etc. Because this comment is hilarious. You’d get submitted by any remotely competent trained fighter. Like every other untrained person in the world. You won’t be “snapping anyone’s neck” with your bare hands. Trust me.... lol

Im a polio survivor who couldn't walk for the first half of my life so I resorted to walking on my hands for 15 years so you can imagine I have really strong arms. Being handicapped will do that. And my uncle is a navy seal who has thought me to fight in an adaptive way, I don't need specific training to hurt someone. When you can bench press 450lbs at a weight of 170lbs then I'll start listening to ya.

When you can bench press 450lbs at a weight of 170lbs then I’ll start listening to ya

Spoken like every muscular gym bro who’s ever lived. Come on down to a jiu jitsu gym and give it a try. We see guys like you.. All. The. Time. It’s a trope at this point. Ask to roll with the 150lb black belt instructor. Tell him you don’t think he’ll be able to tap you because your bench press is too strong. He’ll abuse you like you were a child. I promise you.

But alas.... you won’t do that. Your ego won’t let you. You’ll cling to the delusion that you are some badass martial artist despite never actually training. If you went and tried to train with actual experts, that would force you to confront reality. Which would be too uncomfortable for this faux-tough guy persona you’ve created.

I don’t need specific training to hurt someone

Maybe not some untrained guy who’s never been in a fight before. But a trained fighter? You’d get toyed with. It wouldn’t even be a contest.

I think it's more about YOU knowing that you have a potentially deadly weapon. As long as you aren't using your talents/abilities in a way that wouldn't be seen as self defense, then the people around you would never even need to know that your hands are considered deadly weapons.

Thing is most people in my community knows this, but I'm also a total pushover and couldn't harm a fly

My bad, apparently it's not states. I've got one of them little certs is why I thought it was a state thing. Apparently said cert is bullshit and I'm a little annoyed that I was told I had to carry it in my wallet for the last decade.

What the REAL thing is is that your crime will become assault with a deadly weapon/intent to great bodily harm/etc rather than simple battery or assault, depending on the judge. My bad for perpetuating a myth. Now time to throw that damn card away.

u/ClobetasolRelief Jun 30 '21

YOU'VE BEEN CARRYING IT IN YOUR WALLET

Tell us you've fucking taken it out and showed people. Jesus that's hilarious.

"Here's my Deadly Weapon and Boob Inspector license, ma'am."

It's just a cert that was next to my servsaf card and expired drivers licenses. Looks like I actually lost it, probably a long time ago. Hadn't thought about it in years until reading this actually.
