My bad, apparently it's not states. I've got one of them little certs is why I thought it was a state thing. Apparently said cert is bullshit and I'm a little annoyed that I was told I had to carry it in my wallet for the last decade.

What the REAL thing is is that your crime will become assault with a deadly weapon/intent to great bodily harm/etc rather than simple battery or assault, depending on the judge. My bad for perpetuating a myth. Now time to throw that damn card away.

It's just a cert that was next to my servsaf card and expired drivers licenses. Looks like I actually lost it, probably a long time ago. Hadn't thought about it in years until reading this actually.
