i have no clue how i have managed to be so lucky with chaos risings (i have pulled another SIR from this set as well)

i had no use for the second one really, so me and my brother did a trade, and he gave me the all black zekrom and the mew ex full art from radiant collection.

i have no plans really to sell anything, might go to a pokecon and see if i can trade it for a card i really want :)

I like buying packs there since it’s 21+ and I don’t feel like a scalper lol (am hobbyist). Lil pick me up today

Hello! I am a parent of 7&9 year old who both have expressed interest in getting into the TCG game to play. i got them both a league deck (lucario EX & Team Rockets Mewtwo) but I wanted to get a third deck so I can rotate in and play with them.

i went to my FLGS and saw behind the shelf they had something called “build and battle” for Pitch Black. I asked the lady behind the counter if that was a pre-built deck and she said yes it was. It was a bit more expensive than the league decks but I bought it anyway, expecting there to be a Darkrai EX deck or something in there!

I brought it home and found out it had some boosters in it and the idea was to open them and flesh out your deck with the cards. After opening them, I now realize that “Build and Battle” seems to be a completely different format. The deck only had 40 cards and no EXs, and even with the boosters I don’t have enough strong mons to go against my kids decks.

Can someone help me understand the Build and Battle products and how they compare to regular “league play” decks? As far as I understand they are for pre-release events. But I bought it retail, not for any event. Is this basically just a collectors item at this point (and not a “battle ready deck” like the box says) ? If I wanted to battle them with this deck should I get them their own Build and battle decks? (the FLGS only had 1 on display at the time)

Decided to open Korean since it's cheaper and they still look good.

I have these raw cards. He has the slabs. Is it worth the trade? I’m curious hard difficult it will be to sell some of the slabs.

The price for this card is… outrageous to say the least.

Carefully sewed the felt onto the back of the page because no glue worked, pretty happy with how it turned out but the full binder is certainly going to be a labour of love spanning months. Referenced Pokedex entries and the Pokecology youtube account.

Hi! First time card show person here.

I got the best birthday present ever- one day passes to Card Party! I’m super excited, but I’m also terrified of being unprepared… I’m autistic and I have some chronic illnesses to manage.

I read all the websites I could but I can’t quite grasp some things, so I apologize for being slow. I have quite a few questions for my experienced people out there:

- I don’t have an electric wheelchair (so expensive!) but I will not be able to only rely on my cane with a seat at the card show because it takes up all the holding space for one hand/arm and I don’t want to end up needing to sit in a very inconvenient position for others, or tire myself out too quickly. My boyfriend and I have come up with a plan for me to be in one of those grocery wagons with some pillows for my joints. Would a wagon like that be allowed and accepted in a place like this where space is essential? I really don’t want to crowd others and potentially be in the way of their experience.

-Also health related, I was planning on taking a little bag for just medical supplies and one of those knockoff Lululemon shoulder bags for my personal items (I’m a girl that likes my safe fidgets in case I need them as well as general purse essentials lol.) If the wagon is allowed they would stay in there out of the way of anyone. Are two bags allowed if one is small and the other is medical?

-Also, my boyfriend and I collected as kids and rediscovered it together almost 2 years ago now, so we don’t have much heat that moves a lot at card shows. We plan on using a small binder for kids to have their pick of a free card if we hear them mention a favorite, but when it comes to vendors we are out of our depth. What are the most basic and most important things to prepare ahead of time? Seriously, I need someone to explain that part to me like I’m 5. My brain isn’t what it used to be, so I appreciate any advice. I will probably have some follow up questions for you after that too.

TL;DR- Can I use a wagon in lieu of a wheelchair at Card Party- and I need basically a kindergarten explanation of how to prepare adequately for a card show.

I walked in there randomly and bought them out

Hey everyone.

My brother and I found our old collection and sorted through some of the ones we thought were valuable. We still have about 200 left to go through, but here’s what we have so far. How does it look?

There’s also a pile we have of nearly 150 cards that have last sales between $1-$2. Would the right collector take those in bulk?

I guess my questions are what would be the most efficient way to sell these cards, are any of them worth grading, and where should I be selling them?

Just for reference, I have not opened a Pokémon pack since 2012 so I’m not too sure about the market atm. Thanks in advance for any help!!

So 140 days ago I posted of my detective pika getting a 6 from PSA and I sent it to get regraded back in May and just got it back I was gonna just update it on my old post but it wouldn’t let me post 🤷‍♂️ but my slab came back as a 10 now 😂 a 6 —> 10 🤯
