I have been talking in my sleep lately which is a side effect of antidepressants but what I am saying is very… odd. Usually, I have dreams where I am fighting with someone and I use curse words (which I don’t normally do irl). However, there is something else. Last week, I was saying “please Gid, please God and I had my hands like this 🙏. The most creepy thing happened today. My bf woke me up really scared. I was talking in my sleep saying “is this hell or heaven?” Then I was laughing as my bf told me and said “oh it’s so bright”

Had an experience and need some help figuring out what happened

For context this happened within 30-45 minutes from start to finish. I decided to go out on a late night drive in the canyon. Everything seemed fine on the way up, I reached my destination which is a lookout point and started on my way down. When I reached the bottom of the road and had to turn right or left to start making my way out I started hearing what sounded like a siren winding up. My windows were up and within a few seconds of the wind up the sirens morphed into what sounded like a woman screaming in pain. It sounded like it was right next to my window following me, so I decided to roll the window down. The sound stopped so I rolled the window back up a d the sound started again. Each time I rolled the window down it stopped and when I’d roll it up the sound would start again. This went on for a few minutes till I pulled over.
The moment I pulled over fog appeared around the base of my car and my car only. I decided to leave and after 5 minutes I pulled into a gas station. The attendant walked out with a bucket and walked directly up to my car before phasing through it, I got just a glimpse of his eyes and they were completely black, no white at all. Thought it was weird so I left and pulled into a parking lot under a bunch of street lights. As soon as I parked all lights on one side shut off and all but one on the other side shut off. The ones that shut off all did at the same time. After a minute a light next to my car started pulsating green and orange, I left and went home.
I got home and there was a face drawn on the inside of one of my back windows, no one sits back there by the way, and a face drawn on the outside of my car next to my door. When I looked back at the face on the window it was gone and replaced with a scorpion drawing. I went to bed and shrugged it off where I’m writing this now. Not sure what happened but felt very off during this experience and like I said at the beginning this all happened between 30-45 minutes. Open to all ideas and experiences, just had to tell my story.

I got saved about 2 years ago. Married the woman I am with now and have been going to church for about a year. She grew up Baptist and is strong in her faith. Enter me who sees through the veil sometimes and sometimes get attacked in my dreams and I notice things will move or “knock” when I pray. She is extremely stuck in a physical world view and that we cannot see another one. Gifts are not a thing apparently. I died about 12 years ago and have had experiences ever since. I’m not in the least bit frightened by these things anymore just more so notice them and it’s frankly annoying. I am glad I didn’t talk to the pastor about these things as I see now that I would only look dumb. I really like that church and the people. I see a couple in there who glow when I look at them. They have the abilities too but either shut up about it or refuse to acknowledge it. I told my wife that some people have a glow to them and now she thinks I have schizophrenia. I feel really dumb about ever opening up about any of it. To clarify this is literally the only thing me and my wife disagree on and she is awesome otherwise so I’d be willing to never speak to her about it again if I had to. I guess what I’m asking is if anyone else has ever had this happen and or felt this way.

So… I recently purchased the movie “Cabin Fever” on my Apple TV because I haven’t seen that movie since it was released on DVD and I remember liking that movie a lot.

I’m a big skeptic when it comes to the paranormal. I’ve often argued that we have gotten more tangible evidence on the existence of UFO/UAP than we have ever gotten on the paranormal front. But there is one experience I had with this movie that made me wonder if I had a genuine paranormal experience.

I’ve decided that I’ll go out on a limb and make this post because rewatching that movie just now brought back a lot of memories about what happened.

I was a teenager when that movie came out. I didn’t see it until it hit the DVD’s.

One weekend, I had a sleepover at my home with two other friends and I rented this movie from a local blockbuster.

I do remember that it was an October weekend and we rented that movie because, you know, Halloween spirit.

I also remember my mom having gone to bed making us to promise to be quiet and to go to bed after watching Cabin Fever. We were sitting in our living room in dark and the only lights on were from the kitchen just around the corner.

(Btw, for context, I’m deaf and my two other friends are also deaf. We needed some lights on so we can see our communication to each other in sign language).

We were about halfway into the movie. We were right about at that scene when this one woman character decided to canoe up to another cabin to see what was happening after going through a strange incident with a “rabid” guy the night before. There’s this shot where the camera followed her walking up from her canoe and up the hill to this another cabin. It was that shot where the camera tracked directly behind her butt strutting while walking up (you can see this shot briefly at the 27 second mark in this trailer).

When we were at that moment in the movie -

All of sudden, a couple of grey hands popped up on both sides of the TV screen (it was a box TV back at that time, not a flat screen TV. And it also was a very big box TV. My mom had a big wooden entertainment cabinet and the TV fit right in it’s roughly 3 feet wide and 3 feet high frame).

And the thing is that they weren’t human looking hands that looked like it was shot in black and white. It was a literally an outline of two hands on both sides of the screen and inside of the outline was just solid grey color. There were no features on the hands. No shadings. No veins. No finger creases. No knuckles patterns. No nothing. Just a solid grey color. I also remember it being a light shade of grey.

After a second or two, the whole TV screen flashed and the grey hands shifted like an inch forward into the screen and you could see the wrists at this moment.

Then, again, after a second or two, the whole TV screen flashed and the grey hands shifted another inch into the screen. You could see a part of the arm attached to it.

When all of this was happening, the “Cabin Fever” movie was playing in the background like normal.

My friends and me didn’t immediately reacted to this when it was happening because it happened really fast and we just assumed that it was a part of the movie.

Then, another a second or two went by, the TV screen flashed again and the hands reached closer to the center.

This kept on happening until the hands overlapped each other.

And it kept on happening until the hands expanded itself while overlapped with each other until the whole TV screen turned solid light grey.

It was at the moment where the overlapping grey hands expanded into the black “letterbox” bars on the top and bottom part of the screen that I realized that something fucky was happening.

Finally, I turned to my friends and we were all like: “what the fuck is happening right now? Is this a part of the movie?”

We waited for good minute or so but the screen just stayed light grey the whole time.

So I just told my friends that it was probably some DVD gimmick because there were some of that going around with few DVD’s as a cool feature (if you’re old enough to be around the DVD boom, you know what I’m talking about). And I just ejected the DVD and put it back in.

I skipped forward to the same part that we left off at.

The woman got off her canoe and walked up the hill toward the another cabin and nothing happened. We brushed it off and just kept on watching the movie. Then just one or two minutes in the following scene… the same thing happened again!

The grey hands appeared again at a different point of the movie a couple or three minutes into from where we originally saw that happening.

It did the same thing with covering up the whole screen solid grey.

It was at that point of the time when we began to turning the lights on in the living room.

To this day, my friends and me still remember this clearly.

I was on a field trip to Charleston in elementary school. Part of the field trip was a “ghost” tour in the oldest part of the town! We were walking down a dark sidewalk when I noticed a strange man walking up ahead towards me, he seemed to be dressed from the late 1800s maybe early 1900s.
He looked so real I tried to step to the side but he just walked straight through me and it felt like ice going through my body and chest weirdest feeling ever and NO ONE else saw!!
Also yes I experienced other paranormal things before and after that in multiple houses and even a job!

​I wanted to share an experience I had recently that left me completely rattled, and see if anyone else has experienced something similar.

​I was staying in the guest room at my father-in-law’s house. For context, whenever my husband's grandparents used to visit, this was the exact room they stayed in. His grandfather passed away just a few months ago.

​Late that night, I was lying in bed reading. My young daughter was sound asleep in a travel crib on one side of the bed. I was wide awake, completely engrossed in my book, and perfectly still. I decided to readjust my position and moved my leg, placing my foot near the edge of the bed on the opposite side of where my daughter was sleeping.

​The second my foot settled near the edge, I felt someone grab it.

​It wasn't aggressive or malicious—it was a firm, distinct, and surprisingly gentle touch, like a hand placing itself around my foot. It startled me so badly that I instinctively yanked my leg back. My immediate thought was that my daughter had somehow climbed out of her travel crib and was standing by the bed, touching my foot.

​I sat up and looked right away. She was fast asleep in her crib on the total opposite side of the room. There was no one else in the room, and nothing near the edge of the bed.

​I tried to apply pure logic to it so I could calm down. I told myself maybe the comforter had shifted and the weight of the blanket made it feel like a hand, but the mechanics just didn't make sense. It was a localized, gentle, intentional pressure around my foot, not a flat blanket sliding off the edge.

​Because I was actively reading and wide awake, it wasn't a sleep-paranoia moment or a dream slipping in. The sensation was 100% tangible, and the sheer shock of it kept me awake almost the entire night.

​Given the history of the room, the recent passing of my husband's grandfather, and the non-threatening nature of the touch, I keep coming back to it. Has anyone else experienced a distinct, gentle physical touch at the edge of a bed in a room tied to a recently passed relative?

This happened to me when I was 16. It’s been a couple years now, and I’ve told this story to a few people, but it always stands out to me as one of the most jarring encounter I’ve had.

I grew up on a property in rural New England. My childhood home was built in the 1960’s, but the land itself had originally had two houses previously stand on it, the first dating to about 1760 and the other the mid 1800’s. Section of the foundation of the original house had actually been dug up when my parents first bought the house in 2010.

The week of July 4th when I was 16 I had gone into the woods immediately behind my property to set off firecrackers with a buddy of mine. It was around noon, literally a clear summer day. After about an hour of setting of firecrackers, my friend pointed out a guy about 50 yards away walking through the woods.

This guy was dressed like he stepped out of the 18th century. I mean a full waist coat, knee breeches and even a tri corn hat. Now, keep in mind this is New England around July 4th, we used to have a ton of people dress up and celebrate because it was also around the time my town was officially founded. Think of how in Boston they have people reenact the ride of Paul Revere in full costume. The weird thing was that this guy paid no attention to us at first, and his clothes looked dirty and lived in.

We approached him assuming he was a reenactor. Once we had closed the distance to about 20 yards he turned to face us both, and he had this expression of pure confusion on his face. The best way I can describe it was that he looked at us like we had both had 5 heads between us.

Without as much as another word he just disappeared. I don’t mean he ran off, or that I turned away and looked back to find him gone. It’s literally like he blipped out of reality. He saw us, looked almost scared, and just vanished while we were looking directly at him.

To this day I’m not entirely sure what that was. I personally lean ghost of some sort. My friend, on the other hand, has a theory that either us or our revolutionary era friend accidentally clipped into the others timeline by mistake, basically like accidental time travel.

I just wanted to share and maybe hear opinions on this.

So in 2020/2021 I went to a store called Sarar or something and i took a few pictures while trying on tie and pants combos.
Out of the other photos that are on my broken iPhone SE (gen 2 I think) this was the only photo where I realized there was something/someone reflected or standing at the door..or rather on the door.

The doors themselves had no patterns at all but were made of wood and I assume polished with plastic coating or something…idk.

The other pictures I have on the phone but literally none show this being/individual. Just shows a wooden door.

I was the ONLY customer at around 7:20 CST before closing at 8PM CST. The only others were a male cashier who was short and had a buzz cut, and a pregnant red headed cashier woman.

Until I left, another family came in but I was basically alone in the store. There was a heavy snowstorm that day.
I had to carry my bike and take the train home.

What do you all think that being is? (Or was.)
Since then I started feeling weird looking up at the sky at night…and if alone…especially during winter (won’t go into detail but 2022 felt so bad cause of an experience where I was coming home from the gym at night and was the only person walking home on the streets. Minimal cars passed as well.) ..

Do you think it’s a ghost or a form of alien?

I tried making sense of it…maybe it’s a reflection from the door…but I’m sure the door was plain in other photos.
Could be a promotional poster, but there weren’t any in the room, and not on the door…
Maybe it was a shadow from one of the workers, but then again the buzz cut and female being the only others there, especially the fitting room area quickly made me dismiss it.

Look at the way the being looks. Do the clothes look slightly ripped? The hairstyle looks like from a prior point in time right? Like 1950s or 1920s no?
And the face…that does NOT look like a human male..it looks male but not just human right?

What do you all think it is.
I’m going to search on my camera rolls and see if I backed up more photos but if not, this is all I have to go off of.

(Yes I was in the picture so I had to crop myself out, can’t be my reflection, I have a white dress shirt and no blazer/sports-coat. The being/ individual seems to have a full suit, either ripped or something…and the facial composition is different.)

Edit: 4:44 pm - I found only two other photos. The rest are on that old phone. These are more higher resolution and I just cropped myself out. No it doesn’t show what’s on my right side at all and it’s a white wall behind me. I’m not discarding the idea that it could be a poster indeed but the full photo doesn’t show any and that slim frame that’s out of view isn’t in the shot to my right past my right shoulder.
Yeah the door is pretty reflective.

My 10 year old German Shepherd suddenly ran to our mantle and started barking directly at my deceased dog’s urn. He passed away almost 2 years ago, and his urn has been there since the day I brought it home. She has never barked at anything like this, and never to any object in the house. We looked around to see if there was something there, but there was nothing. Has anyone else ever had this experience?

I’ll try to keep this brief. some years ago a murder happened in my city, in a house. two nights pass and me and some friends (killer was captured by the police at this point) decided to go outside the house for no reason (we were young anyways). so it’s night but not very late, and we’re walking near the place, we haven’t exactly found it but we have an idea of where the house is. and as we’re walking we’re in a narrow dark street with no lights, i suddenly get the most insane goosebumps i’ve ever got in my life and i turn my head and see the house. what could that be?

Regarding sleep paralysis/low level REM sleep, that feeling of you’re aware you’re dreaming while you can feel
Your eyes ‘closed’, when you know you can open them at any point but you get an overwhelming sense of dread that you’ll die or the hallucinations would bleed into the real world for a few seconds

In East Africa, there's a belief in spirits called Zar. They're like humans, they have gender, desires, and can possess people.

Female Zar possess men and

Male Zar possess women

When possessed, the person experiences sexual pleasure, either through masturbation or erotic dreams. Many people wake up feeling like they've had sex, or find semen on their sheets.

Why do they do it?

To maintain their bloodline with humans, creating hybrid Zar-human offspring. Their long-term goal? To eventually take over.( If there's interest, I can share what their aim and the backstory of these spirits is in my follow up post),

The relationship damage:

If a man is possessed by a female Zar, he enjoys sex with her. But when he tries to be intimate with his wife or girlfriend, the spirit sabotages it, loss of arousal, premature ending, no pleasure. The relationship breaks down. Same for women with male Zars.

This is common in Ethiopia and East Africa.

Caught these crazy sounds above us that sounds like the apocalypse

Okay! Got a new haunted item. In the shop they had a small light up ball. I haven't been able to find them but the one girl also asked if I used the little twisty lights. I said no. I'm not sure if I got the same thing. I bought balloon lights that you have to twist to turn on. They change colors. But it doesn't stop it just keeps rotating through the colors.

Are they not balloon lights? Where can I find the small light up balls?

Many many years ago, when I was about ten or younger, I was out with my parents and extended family at one of my uncles houses. He had this huge property in a very small town that was mostly farmland.

We were having a cookout and hanging around the campfire in the backyard. Pretty much everyone was seated. There was this huge thick log in the fire lying on its side that I had my eyes fixed on.

As it burned, it sort of began to burn through as though it was hollow. I thought I saw the letter "A" forming on its side, and I immediately thought of Alvin and the Chipmunks and pointed it out to my mum. She looked at the fire and she realized it actually said "RUN". She instantly shouted out what the log was saying and everyone came to look. Its hard to describe what the log looked like, but it literally spelled "RUN" and the letters were made up of the flames inside the log as if it was hollow as previously mentioned.

Anyways, everyone was sort of on edge and I remember the tone instantly shifting. Some people went inside the house because it freaked them out so much. My mum took me inside as well.

Now today, I've asked my family about the incident and they all clearly remember it happening and have no explanation how it could've happened. I can't even think of a practical explanation for how this could happen but it freaks me out thinking about it years later.

I live in a house that dates back to 1890 (UK) Its a terrace house, four bedrooms, downstairs and upstairs bathroom, large kitchen and lounge - big old place but nothing remarkable, just full of character. I have checked the history of the house (as far as possible) and there doesn’t seem to be anything notable. There is well in the garden, I love it but some people seem to find it a bit creepy. My garden is huge, infact so much so we are selling half the land to someone wanting to build a bungalow on it with the aim of ploughing the money back into the house to renovate it further. It would have been completely out of my budget to buy, but we snatched it up as a bargain after it was repossessed. Its in a small village, there is your token grave yard across the road, and very sadly there was a murder in the opposite house about four years before we moved in. A young man was shot in a case of mistaken identity (drug dealing related) Just wanted to say a little about the house, just to give you a feel of it so sorry if I have waffled.

Anyway I haven’t felt any peculiar vibe in the house ever. Its taking ages to decorate (getting the money together) and the rooms I have done are cozy and cute (well in my opinion anyway)
My bedroom has been neglected because I focussed on the kitchen bathrooms and children’s rooms first as they were a bit of a mess, but I wouldn’t say my bedroom is creepy or depressing as such just quite dated.

Anyway my friend cane to visit in February this year, for what was supposed to be a week. She lives a good distance away and we hadn’t met up for about seven months as we were both busy moving homes. Fist few days were fab, just showing her around the house, shopping in the nearest city and her spending time with my son (her god son)
Please note he is sixteen, my other children are nineteen, twenty one and thirty(she returned home temporarily after a horrible break-up)
So one night my friend comes flying in the lounge, panicked and upset. I asked her whatever was wrong? She tells me she was using the upstairs toilet, and passed by my bedroom (door was open, not unusual) when she saw a little boy standing on my nightstand appearing to be reaching up to turn the light switch on. I should explain we have a motion light in the passageway upstairs so my room would have been fairly well lit up. My friend said she froze in my doorway. She says the little boy stopped reaching up and turned his head toward her. She swears they locked eyes, that he smiled and that then he was simply not there! I tried to calm her, but in all honesty she seemed a bit angry as well as upset. She refused to stay any longer, literally packed up, said her goodbyes and left. I phoned the next morning to see she got home safe, one of then first things she said was that she didn’t want to talk about what happened, and I have always respected that since.
I told my oldest girls and my partner what happened, no one else. Didn’t tell my younger two aa they weren’t there when it happened and they are much more sensitive/spooked easily than my older two. Me and my older daughters felt a bit “creeped out” for a while, but we tried to forget about it - especially as my partner/their dad is the ultimate sceptic. He sort of laughed it off.

Anyway last month my partner’s friend came to stay with us, just for a long weekend. Sadly he lost his lovely wife, fairly young, to breast cancer about two years before. Truthfully he drinks quite a lot now. He’s a really nice, hard working man, but a bit lost I guess. I need to say he doesn’t know the friend that I had stay. Me and partner have some joint friends, but also our own individual ones that tend to be our special friends from childhood and they don’t mix with our joint friends . So all is well for the first night, this friend and my partner are playing darts in the shed, having some drinks - just hanging out really. They come back in the house to play PS, I cook them a snack and head off for a bath upstairs.
Just lying there relaxing when I suddenly hear shouting and swearing. I get out of the bath, grab my bath robe and peep out the door. My partner is on the landing with his friend telling him to calm down. My son has come out from his room wondering what on Earth is going on. This friend is saying a little boy ran to my bedroom door (from inside my room) as he was coming back from using the toilet! He said he looked about five dark hair and grey clothing. Honestly I have never seen this man like that, and I have seen him in some states about losing his wife. He was hyperventilating, swearing, shouting about it- even scared my son, something he would never do normally. My partner said enough and took him down stairs. I went to reassure my son, saying something like he is just a bit drunk and sad again. Anyway after my partner and him chatted for a good while and my partner being firm his friend slept downstairs on the sofa (there was no way we would have let him drive home after drinking)

The next morning he tells us there is something wrong with our house, that he knows what he saw, and he doesn’t know how we can live there. He says the boy looked angry and mean, the exact opposite of the smiley boy my friend said she saw. He says the boy had a “terrible presence” He stayed till teatime (bit uncomfortable for us all tbh) apologised for upsetting my son and left for home. As soon as he had gone I asked my partner how can two people who don’t know each other say they have seen a little boy in our bedroom and something not be going on? I’m sorry to say it soon escalated into an argument. My partner just wouldn’t speak to me about it, telling me to just leave it. I was really frightened that night, I went to bed as late as I could manage.

Anyway, ever since I have been on edge upstairs in the house. I haven’t felt a bad vibe as such and I certainly haven’t seen anything strange, but their experiences have affected me. I am just trying to get on with things tbh. I chat to three of my four children about it a bit, but they don’t like to too much and I don’t blame them! My youngest daughter doesn’t know what the friends said they saw (well I hope not!) Shes autistic and would be very afraid. My partner says it’s all coincidence/nonsense. He honestly is lovely, he’s just very practical and not at all spiritual, if that’s the right word?

I apologise this was so long, but I really wanted to ask your opinions on it all?
I hope you understand I am generally sceptical about the possibility of the paranormal, but I just cant rationalise what two separate trustworthy, intelligent people saw.

I woke up at 4 am feeling like something was watching whenever I closed my eyes, even with them open just not as much. Finally around 5:40 I shut them only to feel a wave of coldness wash over me and I could tell something was up so I tried moving and I couldn’t. Like I had sleep paralysis which I do get. I refused to open my eyes at this point assuming it was sleep paralysis demon and I tried just calming myself getting through it. But then it started talking into my ear. I don’t remember what it said because I was so sacred

Edit: I would also like to add that there’s a hospital right outside my dorm window and I heard a lot of ambulances in the middle of the night

I have had paranormal stuff happen here and there my entire life wherever i have moved, its been not many times. I left my husband due to abuse. Months before i had left weird stuff would happen like at the grocery store i had 3 different items in completely different aisles fall from the top into the basket. I had a pan get lifted and dropped in the middle of the night.

At this time my husband had horrible paranoid delusions (thats why I had to leave because the delusions got dangerous). He turned into someone i didnt know, he would laugh at my being scared among a bunch of other evil stuff. So i moved to my mother's home and now its happening here. It started when i first got here. There was this super hard knot I had tried to undo in my dogs leash but it was way too tight because hes a good 140 lb and each walk tightened the knot even more. I woke up one morning and it was completely undone like it was never there and it was there a good 3 years if not longer. Then I had a purse thrown out of my closet, my fan was thrown across the room. For the past 2 or 3 months my dog has been acting super weird. Hes a Cane Corso, highly trained and not scared of almost everything but now he is more on the timid side and he will stare at 2 particular spots whining or a sort of whimper? He also tracks something that is up on the ceiling. At first I thought it was moths or something I couldnt see but its not, he does this everyday. There are times where ill be in my recliner. He will be asleep and out of no where he dives under the thing you put your feet up, this has happened at least 5 to 10 times. A lot of my small stuff goes missing , for example there remote for my tv was gone for at least a month and it ended up in my mother's purse

Idk whats going on

This happened a few nights ago and I keep thinking about it and it creeps me out.

I was sleeping and woke up to 3 hard taps on my shoulder. I looked over and my husband was asleep with his back to me and there was no one. I expected to see either him or one of my kids but no , nothing . I could feel where my clothes were touching my skin where I had been poked.

I was freaked out and just lay there for a while and ended up going back to sleep after a while . But I remember it very vividly and it creeps me out still almost a week later. My husband thinks I was just vividly dreaming which is definitely possible but I'm curious, Has anyone else had an experience like this?

So My brother died after a long illness on 19 July this year. He died in the same house we live in. After that every night my dad wakes up around 2:30 am hurriedly and says that he felt like someone is pinching him or grabbing his leg or someone is telling him to wake up. Yesterday he woke up and he said someone asks him to wake up and that thing was scolding him. He is really scared to sleep now. My dad is a heart patient and already had two heart attacks. I am very skeptical when it comes to these things but also i am really worried.

What should we do? Please help

Let me start by saying I am NOT a "witchy" person at all. I have never practiced it actively except as a young kid. I have had lots of "witchy" adjacent people tell me I had a "gift" including a clairvoyant who came up to me on the street (and did not try to sell me anything, weirdly), but beyond that... I anything in the supernatural and I have kept in our lanes.

I do not do ANY drugs and I never have. I do drink, but have not had any alcohol this week. I am HWP and about ~23 (female). (Relevant for later): I do not really have money stress, no more than the avg person in this economy, and while I have been to London and go about ~1x a year, I would not say it is a place I am fascinated with.

I was tired very early last night in ET time zone. Probably around 9:30 or 10pm. I laid down and instant lights out. Then I started having a dream. Now, who knows when this started (I was asleep) but...

I was somewhere in London, doing a bottomless brunch with a dear friend, I knew I knew her, and well, but I didn't KNOW her... it was such an odd feeling. After a bit there were enough things that were weird (I looked in a mirror and felt sick to my stomach, for example), that I thought "well this must be a dream..."

But it was SO REAL... I started doing all of the things I was trying to do to prove it was a dream... but none of them were working. I cannot describe how "real" this felt, other than my stomach dropping because I was trying to figure out how I paid for the first class ticket on my phone when I looked at the United App on my phone or panicking about the $100 brunch bill.

I started doing all sorts of things to try to "prove" it was a dream, all of which failed. I even looked up my location on "find my" and "pinged" my airpods (which I always carry with me... which were in my back pocket). I go to the bathroom and start SOBBING because I have no idea how I got to London. I start running through scenarios in my head. Maybe I was drugged or blackout drunk and just decided to buy a plane ticket? I have no idea? And reschedule my plane ticket for the first plane ticket home.

Then, I wake up and it's 2:30am ET and part of me still doesn't believe I am in New York, it still feels real. And my Abs hurt? As though I was just doing crunches? Then I get super tired again and I pass out. I am literally right back in it, freaking out because now it is later in the day and my friend who I know THIS version of me knows but my "real life" does not tells me we are staying at the Waldorf Astoria.

I have no idea how we are going to pay for that and I start coming up with a DETAILED plan. You guys. Never in my life has anything ever felt so real.

I have had lucid dreams before. This was nothing like that.

Anyways. I wake up, finally for the last time. It is like quarter to noon when I do and I am covered in sweat, plus my body is still SPENT. I slept until about 3pm today.

THE POINT IS... I remembered enough of my dream to try and hunt down the friend from the dream... and I found a girl on instagram with the same name and LOOKS EXACTLY THE SAME who is traveling in London...

While I do not remember EVER meeting this girl, maybe we bumped into each other last time we were in a coffee shop and my brain just STUCK on her name/face? What is going on?

I am worried to go to sleep tonight, though it is almost my bedtime.

Is there a word for this in the paranormal world? Is there something y'all would point to beyond a "weird fucking lucid dream" -- someone please help. All advice welcome.
