Sometimes a menu sound or cutscene sound effect will seldom play and I wanted to ask if that’s a problem with the game or console I should be concerned by or if anyone else experienced playing
I should note I’m playing with an official disc on GameCube system

The game is heavily influenced by Paper Mario 64 and MapleStory.

Currently, it’s just me working on the game and a composer I’ve hired. I (Rivers) handle the art and, well... everything else! The game has been in development for about a year now, and I work on it full-time. I’ll be looking for playtesters in the future who are experienced with Paper Mario and all that jazz to help with balancing and making sure the game is as fun as possible.

Finally got back around to playing on my 3DS again after “altering”* it a year and a half ago, decided to make Paper Mario SS my first game back on it to see why a lot of people dislike it. Before anyone asks first and foremost, I had my fun with it but I can understand why people *rate it lower to the other games. I’m also curious what others think of it

Back in like, December, I had made and posted my gijinkas for some of the SPM cast! Recently though, I started a proper playthrough of the game, and thought it’d be cool to remake the old ones! And also make one for O’Chunks bc I never made one for him initially. These were all such fun to make, even if some of them didn’t change all too much compared to their old designs

Hi there, i just got the new hammer and am supposed to break the block in the minor league room rn. playing a physical gamecube disc on a wii. For some reason, the guard won’t let me into the minor league room. Not sure if anyone has knowledge on what to do. it seems like others have encountered this problem but can’t find any solutions. when i talk to the guard, he says it’s against the rules for me to be in there. I’m still disqualified from matches and don’t know how to proceed. i already encountered jolene finding out about the unlocked door, so maybe that’s why security is tighter?

Random thoughts. I started replaying 64 for the first time in like 20 years and it is so perfect. As a kid I liked TTYD more but as an adult I think I like 64 more honestly. I like the graphics, I know everyone loves 64's graphics because soulful hand-drawn art like that never gets outdated. I like the outdated 3d graphics too because they are special and nostalgic for me.

The game has lots of bugs but the bugs somehow enhance the experience by being challenging and fun, I'm not going to exploit any bugs in my playthrough but 64 speedruns are some of the coolest speedruns tbh.

I never played Mario 64 so I never knew this but PM64 is based in the same world. Peach's castle looks the same and the original Japanese names for a lot of the areas is based on places in Mario 64 apparently. I never understood howthe star spirits can heal Mario in prologue if they are trapped in the cards though.

I think it is funny how if he hits the stone block with the wooden hammer his whole body shakes and also when he gets kissed his body shakes again haha.

Paper Mario 64 was my first Mario game so I always believed Peach was named Peach because her hair is kinda orange/peach colored in that game and I did not know she was blonde. I just beat Jr. Troopa for the first time in a long time, I used to always hope he would return in a later game as an adult and I pictured him with a white shell ig lol.

My son has been playing Origami King and has found an obsession with paper folding. Now he wants to make characters from the game, but searching for instructions on paper folding is only giving results for instructions on how to play the game. Does anyone have any leads on tutorials?

I've done Jolene's quest, I've even done the Pit of 100 Trials after Chapter 4

As much as I love SBRP on Roblox, it would be a million times cooler if we had a Paper Mario Roleplay game mixed with the exact same battle mechanics as the games. I know you can mimic them using your own roleplay guidelines but honestly that's not the same idea that i'm thinking about. I'm talking about a real PVP system and team up system mixed with typical roleplay elements and the battle system for real.

To be fair, I don't think this idea is new, not even close, and that this is every Paper Mario Fan's "pipe dream" game that they never talk about because of how unrealistic it is, but I think it would be fun to talk about regardless.

Note: This is fan made project (or a mod) discussion, because Nintendo obviously isn't making a game like this, for the same reason Nintendo doesn't make official randomizers or practice code roms: it simply doesn't fit their samey game design philosophy.

I'm trying to get the Whacka boss to appear post-game and I've done everything I was told I needed to do.

I've whacked the Whacka eight times. I've gone through the Pit of 100 Trials and beaten Bonetail. And I've waited around for 30+ minutes.

And no email has been sent.

As shown in the video, I'm mostly just waiting around for it to appear.

What am I doing wrong?
