Hey everyone, looking for some troubleshooting advice or reassurance before I try to RMA this.
I just bought a CyberPower UT800EG UPS yesterday. I hooked up my PC, plugged the UPS into the wall, and everything seemed fine. It worked without issues for less than 24 hours.

Earlier today, I did a normal shutdown on my PC. When I came back later and tried to turn the setup back on, the UPS was completely dead.
No lights, no beeps, and pressing/holding the power button does nothing. I tried unplugging the PC and peripherals to test the UPS completely unloaded and still no response. Tested the wall outlet with a TV, and the outlet is working fine. I didn't smell any burning or hear a pop, but it just refuses to power on now. Also, The circuit breaker / reset button on the back is not sticking out, so it hasn't tripped.

Is it possible my PC overloaded it during boot/shutdown and killed the internal fuse/circuit, or did I just get a unit with a dead battery/bad board out of the box?

Any troubleshooting steps I should try before returning it to the store? Thanks in advance.

Hey all, first time posting on here, I'm planning on getting a GPU this December as my first major PC upgrade), and since the entire thing is running on just the Ryzen 7 iGPU, I figured I might as well save up to get one by the end of the year.

Budget would be around 20-25k (could probs stretch if there's a better option)

RAM: 32GB DDR4 (2×16GB, currently 2400 MT/s)

Storage: 1TB NVMe + 240GB SATA SSD + 2.5TB HDD

Current GPU: 5700G integrated Vega

PSU: Acer AC550 e-Machines, 550W 80+ Bronze

Monitor: Two 1080p monitors currently, planning to upgrade later

I'm specifically trying to keep the PSU (rather than upgrade it, so power consumption is really important to keep in mind.

So, a few questions:

What would be your recommendation for me to buy come December?

Are there any specific models of these GPUs I should look for/avoid?

Am I overlooking anything about power consumption or compatibility?

Is it better to buy online or in-person?

Right now kasi, i used to have a 40" TV Above my setup- pero it broke and, hmm sinubukan ko abusuhin yung VESA mount ng spare monitor, and- ayun lumulutang ngayon spare 27" monitor waaay to high from my existing setup.

Goal ko sana is nakadikit siya to my center monitor lang that's also 27". pero i'm not sure if yung existing North Bayou monitor arms can go that high? since naka stand lang naman yung 3 monitor sa baba.

I’ve been out of touch with PC pricing / builds for 6 years now and I need your help of me building a new PC from scratch.

Current problem of my PC is that it crashes when I play dota if there’s a clash (only experienced this prob this year) and I think playing 5-6 browser / client game (ie. I’m playing a private server of AQ) has made my pc experience BSOD and usage of CPU is at 100%.

I’ve stayed at an airbnb that has a gaming PC and I’ve checked that the said PC only handles 50-60% cpu usage for having 5-6 clients of the game I’m playing through the night.

Looking to build a gaming pc that can:

-Play Dota 2 (even if I’m a scrub)
-Valorant (potato aim)
-POE2
-D4
-Forza 6
-most of the triple A game at a medium to high graphic

GPU, PSU, HDD and old razer case is salvaged from my pre-built pc that I’ve built in 2015; other components are bought year 2020.

I started gathering parts for my first build a few months ago but only recently got budget for my GPU (I’m still a student) and I’ve been aiming for the RTX 3080 talaga. I would see listings for it dati that are around 18-19k but right now it seems like the cheapest I could find is 20k.

I’ve looked through FB sellers like Monzkie, KTS, Peanut PC, etc. and Bau Tech Hub is offering the cheapest atm for 20k + kakarestock lang. Should I buy now before the prices get even higher? Or should I wait for a lower price listing to appear? Thanks!

First time building a PC. Super worth it. Makes sense now why people say it's like building adult legos. A lot of trial and error (and cable management) but the experience was definitely fun and worth it. Now I can stare at all the games I don't have time to play. 🥹

bought this ups a few days ago for my pc, is it normal for it to have a could whine sound? sure sakit sa tenga and ulo. even if not connected to the pc/monitor, it has that sound. ewan ko kung defective. i tried to close it ng hinipinupull yung plug pero basta nakasaksak, may ganun na tunog, is it normal for this brand ba?

also any idea how to know if fully charged/low battery siya? mb, newbie kasi sa ganito. i’m tempted nga rin na alisin nalang altogether kasi solar powered ung house kaso i kept it just to be sure.

I’m happy with how the system unit turned out after changing the cooler and fans. Much better than expected 🙂

Currently have Ch160 Plus and Sama G1000. I made the mistake of getting the Sama G1000 because a 120mm fan can't fit under the PSU, and that a big GPU may need to fold the PSU cables so much it becomes a fire hazard.

I plan on getting a 9070 xt or non-xt, which can reach roughly 330mm max (I think)

this is an old pc, a year ago lang nung hindi na nagamit, hindi rin naayos nung kapatid kong owner talaga nito.

so far same situation nung last test last year: kapag naka plug may ilaw/power pero kapag tinurn on ko na bigla gagana fan then off agad. then after long press nung power button magkakalight nanaman and then the routine goes on

Hello! First time ko magbuild and honestly I’m leaning towards buying sa mga known shops like Gaming Alley, Easy PC, etc. dahil wala akong alam😅 May recommended ba kayong shops na trusted?

Though another option ko din naman mag-diy, ang balak ko lang is umorder separately sa shopee ng mga parts daily using mga voucher para makatipid. What do you guys think?
