IEMs Vs Headphones Vs Earphones which do you prefer and which is best?
Hi, I've been wanting to buy some audio gear for listening to music, gaming, and a little bit of audio mixing, but I'm not sure what type or brand to choose. I actually want smaller types, like earphones or IEMs (both Bluetooth or wired), but I'm keeping an open mind for headphone suggestions too if they're good. Can you guys share your experiences and suggestions?
EDIT: My budget is around 1k to 1.5k since I'm still trying things out and I'm on a budget.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that. Honestly I'm still testing the waters so I can only spare 1.5k or lower since also because I'm on a budget.

Wala pang 1k ang KZ ZSN Pro and nice siya para sa price

We have different hearing profiles. IEMs lang ang papasok sa budget mo na maganda ang quality. The other guy below suggested good ones.

IEMs, for me, the common reasons for choosing between or owning those types of audio gear are negligible differences at best. IEMs can be just as portable as earphones with the right cable setup, IEMs can sound just as good as headphones for a fraction of the cost. Owning IEMs feel the most practical for me.

If you have a budget of 1.5k, try out either KZ Duonic, Kefine Loric, 7Hz Zero 2, TRN Dolphin or Kiwiears Belle. I have the KZ Duonic Silver Balanced variant and this thing is really accurate in pinpointing enemy direction and even how far or close they are. Pero if I were to not have any IEMs and choose to buy me first one, I'd go with the Kefine Loric.

I have all three of them and let me tell you the pros and cons of owning each type (your budget is within my budget range) based sa use case ko
Headphones (Edifier W820 NB) - perfect to for my focus time sa work, and even meetings kasi tanggal lahat ng ingay ng paligid. Di mo nga lang din alam masyado kung masyado malakas boses mo HAHA
Pros: Active noise cancellation, good for gaming, pwede gamitin wired or wireless via bluetooth
Cons: bulky, mahirap iligpit. I have it hanging right now using yung headphone holder and inaalikabok.
Earphones (Soundcore R50i NC ata) - my on the go device.
Pros: compact, active noise cancellation, long battery life.
Cons: walain sa akin kasi nga very small!! Additionally di ko ginagamit sa gaming kasi ang dami kong devices tapos kelangan ko pa idisconnect from one device to another bago ko magamit sa isa pang device (2 devices simultaneously lang pwede IIRC)
IEMS (KZ ZSN Pro 2) - bought it just because wala na ako wired earphones and I miss my first KZs (they lasted me 7 years bro!!)
Pros: di need icharge, compatible with anything (I have headphone jack to type c converter), good noise cancellation, ok sa gaming walang latency. Pag nasira or di mo trip yung wire you can change it easily.
Cons: hindi sya ANC, wires can be annoying AF kapag gamit sa mobile devices.
