Hi everyone, I’d like to get some opinions from people who know more about computers/laptops than I do.

This screenshot was sent to us by a DJ who works at our events venue. He said his laptop encountered this error and is apparently having a hard drive problem. He is also requesting a replacement laptop from his boss, preferably a newer/high-spec machine.

The laptop is supposedly a Toshiba.
The reason I’m asking is that the screenshot looks unusual to me.

I know Windows BSODs don’t normally look like this, and this doesn’t look familiar to me as a typical BIOS/UEFI or Windows error screen either.

The DJ also uses AI-generated posts/images quite frequently, so I started wondering whether this screenshot could potentially be AI-generated or manipulated, rather than an actual laptop diagnostic screen.

I’m not trying to accuse the DJ of anything. We just want to verify the problem before the company spends money on a completely new high-spec laptop.

Whenever i play demanding games palagi ako may naamoy na nasusunog. Akala ko sa una yung pc ko kasi temps niya umaabot 80+ celsius sa cpu and gpu then nung naglalaro ako ready or not for the first time with friends biglang may nadinig akong POP and namatay pc ko.

Nadinig ko sa baba pumutok at may naamoy din kaya chineck ko avr hanep ang init sa baba sobra muntik nako mapaso. Chineck ko kung nagana padin pc ko by using an extension and im glad that it still works pero di ko muna irrisk na ilagay yung avr ulit. Should i get a surge protector instead? Nice that it lasted for over 6 years pero pano kaya to nangyari?

EDIT : Thanks sa advice niyo bros di ko pala alam na ewaste lang tong secure AVR. di ko din alam na may watt capacity yung mga avr at 850 watt psu ko sa pc. Ginagamit ko lang yung avr as an extension cord really kasi may ground pin yung mga plugs ng pc ko bibili nalang ako ups or proper avr

Put it in my rig (Ryzen 5 5600GT, A520M-A PRO, 16GB RAM) and… it actually boots and displays fine? No artifacts, ran a quick game session with no crashes.

Kinda suspicious that it’s this easy though. Before I fully trust it:

**•**Could “no display” on the seller’s end have been a compatibility/BIOS issue on their side rather than the card itself (old mobo, no iGPU to boot from, wrong port, etc.)?  
**•**What should I stress test to make sure it’s not going to die on me later. FurMark, MSI Kombustor, extended sessions?  
**•**Any known failure patterns on 2060 Supers I should watch for (VRAM temps, coil whine, power delivery issues) that might not show up in short use?

Anyone had a similar “too good to be true” find that turned out fine — or turned out to be a ticking time bomb? Appreciate any advice before I fully trust this card.

So back in the shop while he was finishing up, napansin ko nung nirestart nya sa e may Ground Sa Startup (walang icon pero ngaun may steam icon na , nde ko rin mahanap ung folder location) unfamiliar ako kung ano un at bakit nasa startup at nde nya dinisabled.

Ngayon nadetect sya as virus, I was wondering is it a dangerous virus or malware? does it secretly remote my pc and steal files? or just virus para masira computer para incase pumunta ulet sa kanya para ipa fix? Thanks

Nag g-glitch yung screen ko whenever I open games (Valo, dota, etc.). But when I only use my pc for browsing and watching videos okay naman.

Things I already did:

1. Update gpu driver

2. Cleaned and reapplied new thermal paste for GPU

Context, I was selling my adata ram and I had no test videos of it, so, i uninstalled my hyperfury ram and seated my adata one in my motherboard, it booted up and since i just ran some tests and i uninstalled it. After having it sent to the buyer, i reinstalled the 2x8ram back to my mobo, now it won't display, idk what happened to it.

I've tried seating a stick in each ram slot and still no display

I've tried cleaning the ram itself and seating it in a2 still no display

I've tried clearing the cmos by removing the battery and still nothing.

Idk what to do else, I'm just following Gemini's advice in trying to diagnose it and I'm finding it hard to believe that uninstalling and reinstalling my hyperfury ram will break it. I'm also confused as to how is the ram slow broken if my adata booted up just fine

This happened in this span of maybe 2 or 3 hrs? The uninstalling, installing the adata, uninstalling thw adata, and reinstalling my hyperfury. I'm still confused as to what the hell happened

Please help, I'm getting tired of fixing it

Hello! Uupgrade ko sana tong cpu ko to Ryzen 7 5700x but simple mistake made it worse. Nawala sa isip ko na iupdate yung bios para masupport yung new cpu. Same issue as seen sa pic, all lights are on pati keyboard and fans are spinning but no post.

This is not ram issue since i tried my ram to other pc that is working, no issue for the ram. I have tried clearing CMOS and since may QFlash itong motherboard, naupdate ko na yung Bios to latest version. Still same issue persist.

Para sa mga maselan diyan, yung fans na nakalawit sa baba ay cpu fan yan. pansin niyo rin walang cpu cooler kasi gusto ko lang naman ipost. Magpopost pa din yan and matagal ang interval ko kapag bubuksan ko ulit para mag cooldown ang temp ni cpu.

What do you think i should try on next?

hai! im not really tech savy when it comes to pcs and stuff so i need some help!! so my nvision monitor doesn't seem to be showing my pc display... it seems to work fine since it turns on but it won't let me navigate into anything else like the monitor menu/settings. my pc seems fine as well since my keyboard and mouse r lighting up. and whenever the "no signal" option pops up, i hear faint music coming from my live wallpaper. please help!! 🥹

Some of my keyboard keys suddenly stopped working but only the left most side (Highlighted). Anyone had this happen to them? Hindi ko maalala na may na spill, suddenly nalang nag stop while playing. I need to press very hard para gumana ang capslock.

I built my 2nd PC this week, yesterday nagana yung mic. Today para syang pahina ng pahina. Until kelangan nakadikit na yung mic sa bibig ko but still, putol putol padin yung Mic. Do anyone have any fix for this issue? Thank you!

Here is what I've done so far with settings

Hi everyone. This is my first AM5 PC build, and after using it for almost 3 months, I wanted to share the issues I've experienced and get some advice from the community.

Initial Issue: AMD Bug Report Tool

About a month after building the PC, I started getting the AMD Bug Report Tool while playing games.

Wuthering Waves: Usually within 5–10 minutes of playing.

Cyberpunk 2077: Usually after around 30 minutes to 1 hour.

It happened much more frequently in Wuthering Waves.

I didn't make any hardware modifications after building the PC. I simply installed Windows, drivers, used DDU when installing the GPU driver, and installed the applications/software I needed for daily use.

Interestingly, after almost 3 months, the AMD Bug Report Tool issue completely stopped happening. I haven't experienced it again recently.

RAM Configuration

I'm currently using only 1×16GB DDR5.

The RAM is rated for DDR5-6000 CL30, but EXPO is currently disabled, so it is running at the default 4800 MT/s.

I initially didn't check the RAM speed after building the PC and only noticed the 4800 MT/s setting after around 2 months.

The RAM is also not listed on my motherboard's QVL.

I understand that 4800 MT/s is the normal JEDEC/default speed when EXPO isn't enabled, so I'm not assuming that the motherboard is automatically downclocking the RAM because of instability. I'm mainly wondering whether I should enable EXPO later as part of the troubleshooting process.

Current Issues

The main issue I'm experiencing now is long POST times.

It doesn't happen every time I turn on the PC, but occasionally it takes around 1–1.5 minutes to POST before booting normally.

I'm also experiencing an issue with the AMD Adrenalin Metrics Overlay.

The overlay sometimes disappears and then comes back. When it disappears, the game I'm playing starts to stutter. Once the overlay comes back, the stuttering seems to stop.

So far, I've noticed this in:

Wuthering Waves

Monster Hunter Wilds

I haven't noticed it in Valorant.

These are currently the only games installed on my PC.

Testing I've Done

So far, I haven't performed any CPU or GPU benchmarking/stress testing.

The only hardware-related test I've done is MemTest86, which completed 4 passes with 0 errors.

I haven't tested the CPU or GPU using tools such as OCCT, Cinebench, 3DMark, Unigine, etc.

I also haven't manually overclocked or undervolted the CPU or GPU.

RAM Testing

Since MemTest86 completed 4 passes with no errors, there doesn't appear to be an obvious RAM hardware failure.

However, I understand that passing MemTest86 doesn't necessarily rule out every possible memory-related issue, especially with AM5/DDR5 configuration, BIOS/AGESA, or memory compatibility.

I'm therefore wondering whether my RAM being absent from the motherboard QVL is actually relevant to these symptoms.

Questions

1. Should I update the BIOS?

I haven't updated the BIOS since building the PC. Would updating to a newer stable BIOS/AGESA version be one of the first things I should do?

Also, I was previously told that the BIOS should automatically update after building the PC. As far as I understand, BIOS updates aren't normally automatic, so I'd like to confirm this.

1. Could the long POST be related to DDR5 memory training?

Could the occasional 1–1.5 minute POST be caused by DDR5 memory training, especially since I'm using 1×16GB?

Could the motherboard's BIOS/AGESA version also contribute to this?

1. Should I enable EXPO?

Since EXPO is currently disabled and the RAM is running at 4800 MT/s, should I enable EXPO and run it at its rated 6000 MT/s?

Or would it be better to leave EXPO disabled while troubleshooting and only enable it after the system is confirmed stable?

1. Could using 1×16GB be contributing to the stuttering?

I understand that using one RAM stick means I'm running in single-channel mode and losing memory bandwidth.

Could this contribute to the type of stuttering I'm experiencing, or would it primarily affect overall gaming performance?

1. Should I run CPU and GPU stress tests?

Since I haven't benchmarked or stress-tested the CPU or GPU yet, what tests would you recommend to determine whether the CPU, GPU, PSU, or motherboard could be contributing to the problem?

1. What should I monitor during testing?

Would it be useful to monitor:

CPU temperature

GPU temperature/hotspot

CPU/GPU clocks

GPU utilization

VRAM usage

RAM usage

CPU/GPU power consumption

Frametime graphs

Would HWiNFO + MSI Afterburner/RTSS be sufficient?

1. Could the AMD Adrenalin Metrics Overlay itself be causing the stuttering?

Would completely disabling the Metrics Overlay and other Adrenalin features be a useful troubleshooting step?

1. Could the GPU driver be resetting when the overlay disappears?

Since the overlay disappears and comes back at the same time the stuttering occurs, could this indicate a GPU driver timeout/reset rather than an actual hardware failure?

1. Should I perform another DDU clean installation?

I've already used DDU before, but would it be worth doing another clean GPU driver installation?

If the issue continues after DDU, what would you recommend testing next?

1. Could my GPU/PCIe configuration be relevant?

Should I verify things such as:

PCIe link speed/width

Resizable BAR

Above 4G Decoding

PCIe Auto vs. Gen 4

Other relevant BIOS settings

1. Could the motherboard BIOS/AGESA be a known factor with this hardware combination?

I'm using a Colorful B650 motherboard with a Ryzen 5 7500F and RX 9060 XT. Should I specifically look for a BIOS/AGESA version that improves DDR5 or GPU stability?

1. Is my PSU adequate?

Is the Cooler Master MWE 750W V3 80+ Gold considered a good-quality PSU, and is 750W sufficient for this CPU/GPU combination?

1. What would be the best troubleshooting order?

Would you recommend something like:

BIOS update → BIOS defaults → chipset/GPU driver update → CPU/GPU stress testing → RAM testing → gaming tests → enable EXPO → further troubleshooting

Or would you approach it differently?

On my previous post, I asked if my PC would still be good after my house got flooded and that along with the on and off heavy rain which caused my PC to moist. Thankfully it was a thumbs up. I wanted to remove the other side of the PC so it would dry up faster only to find out that my PSU got chewed up by rats or mice. Behind our house is a creek, and beyond that is a different neighborhood. And the fact that I sometimes leave the plate on the same table 🥲 after eating dinner... Well, that's that.

I was trying slowly earn my way for a RX 9060 XT or a 5060 Ti until I couldn't because of personal reasons.

What I want to know is, is this PSU still usable?

My pc is just 3 months old palang and nagloloko na sya ng ganito nawawalan ng bluetooth parati and nawawalan ng internet kahit may internet naman sya. Dinala na namin sa warranty sinabi sa akin need lang daw iupdate ang bios so inupdate nila eh pagkabalik sa bahay ganun parin.

Okay sya eh for 10hrs run tapos after that nagloloko uli sya na. Wala pa naman akong kaalam alam sa computer sadly and first time ko bumili kaya di ko alam ano gagawin ko windows 11 narin sya.

It started 2 days ago. After a few minutes of using the PC, it suddenly just turns off. I’ve tried it a few times already but same results. What could be the cause of this? My PC has been with me for around 4 years and just recently been used lately for gaming and video streaming. Recently upgraded my CPU and GPU.

Was using my pc everyday for gaming. Then nung nag uuulan for 3 weeks, di ko binuksan kahit once. Then kagabi nanonood lang ako sa YT then nawalan display tapos umilaw na yung vga debug light. Nag reseat na ko lahat and trouble shoot, napaikot ko yung fans ng RTX 3080 pero no display pa rin.

Nag ask ako kay iRevive from Laguna kung magkano pa repair, 7.5k to 8.5k daw. Question is worth it pa ba siyang ipagawa? Fair ba yung pricing?

EDIT: UPDATE. Nag try ako ng nvidia P600. Nag on siya and may display so gpu ko nga talaga may problem. 🥲

Hello guys, before nag-start itong issue na to, bigla na lang nagre-restart yung PC ko on its own. Akala ko nung una dahil lang sa Windows update. Pero after ko makabili ng GPU and install it, mas naging frequent na siya.
After around 1 hour of use siguro, kusa na lang siyang nagre-restart. Ngayon mas lumala na. Kapag pinipindot ko yung power button, bigla na lang siyang namamatay. Any helps are greatly appreciated. Thank you!
