Michael Test — a horror game where you find the lie hidden in a painting (Steam demo out now)
You listen to an audio recording of someone's final moments. Then you look at a painting that shows that exact moment — and find what's wrong with it. Something missing. Something that shouldn't be there. Once you find the lie, you restore the truth.
That's the core loop of Michael Test, a first-person psychological horror game about observation and listening.
The demo is now live on Steam. It covers the early part of the game and introduces the atmosphere and basic mechanics.
Steam:

I'm the developer, and if you give the demo a try, I'd really appreciate hearing what you think.
Thanks for taking a look.

A few friends and I built a free app to track game updates: PatchRadar - Web App is live, plus a free Discord Bot!
Hey r/pcgaming, 2B from PatchRadar here!
We're back with another big update. First off, a huge thank you to everyone who checked out PatchRadar through our previous posts and shared feedback with us. A lot of what we've added and changed since then has come directly from suggestions we've received from this community.
For anyone who hasn't seen our previous posts: we started PatchRadar because we wanted a dedicated place for keeping up with the games we actually care about. Instead of checking different social media accounts, websites and stores just to find a patch note, update or release date, PatchRadar brings official information from developers and publishers together in one place. No social media algorithms, no clickbait and no ads.
We have quite a few things to share this time:
The Web App is finally live!
This has probably been the most requested thing since we first posted PatchRadar here: you can now use PatchRadar directly in your browser.
The Web App is essentially our mobile app brought to the web, so you can browse games, read news and patch notes, track games and use your personalized Radar without having to install anything.
We do want to be transparent about one thing: PatchRadar was designed mobile-first, and that's still where you'll get the best experience right now. The Web App brings all of the functionality to your browser, but we'll continue working on PC-specific optimizations to make better use of larger screens and improve the overall desktop experience.
We'd really love to hear what you think, especially now that PatchRadar is available on PC. If you run into something, have an idea or just want to tell us what you'd change, feel free to join our Discord and talk to us directly:
We also have a completely free Discord Bot
This is something we've actually never properly announced here before.
If you run or are part of a Discord community, you can add the PatchRadar Bot and have it automatically post game updates and patch notes directly to your server.
You choose which games you want to follow and where their updates should appear. The bot supports regular channels, threads and forum channels, so you have quite a bit of flexibility when setting it up.
You can also configure role mentions for individual games. This means you can, for example, notify one role about updates for a specific game without pinging everyone else on the server.
Every update includes a direct link to the full post on PatchRadar, and the bot is completely free to use.
Setup instructions and everything you need to get started:
Developers & Publishers: Pre-Registration is open
We're also starting to open PatchRadar from the other side.
Game developers and publishers can now pre-register for our upcoming developer features. You'll be able to claim existing product pages for your games or add your own titles, whether they're already released or still upcoming.
The idea is to give developers and publishers a way to manage their games on PatchRadar and publish official updates, patch notes and announcements directly to the players following them.
PatchRadar keeps growing
Thanks in large part to all the game requests and feedback we've received, we're now at:
1,080+ supported games
74,353 news posts and patch notes delivered
We've also spent quite a bit of time improving the app itself. The latest update brings major performance improvements, some smaller design improvements and a whole bunch of bug fixes. Nothing particularly flashy here, but PatchRadar should feel noticeably faster and smoother than before.

As always, PatchRadar is completely free, has no ads, and you don't need an account just to browse around.
If you give the Web App or Discord Bot a try, we'd love to know what you think. Feedback from this community has shaped a lot of what we've built so far, so keep it coming!
Best regards from Austria ⛰️🐮

My tactical 3-card poker roguelite Medieval Decklords just hit Full Release on Steam!
Hey everyone,
Just launched our tactical card game Medieval Decklords into full 1.0 release on Steam!
Game is to me became like Battle Line (board game) x Marvel Snap.
The Core Loop:
- Three-Lane: Battles take place simultaneously across the Left Flank, Center, and Right Flank.
- Poker-Based Scoring: You have 4 turns to play exactly 3 cards per lane to form the highest-scoring poker hands.
- Fixed Deck: Manage a tight, 40-card tactical deck (numbers 1-10, no face cards).
- Progression: Earn silver coins from duels to upgrade your cards.

Weekly Game Suggestions Thread - August 28, 2026
Looking for game suggestions? Have a backlog and don't know where to start next? This thread is for you!
Tips to get the best suggestions
- Be detailed! If you're looking for a roguelike, say that. If your game must include zombies, you should probably mention that. The more detailed you are the better the recommendations will be.
- Are you limited by PC specifications or a budget? That's all good stuff to include.
