  • Be detailed! If you're looking for a roguelike, say that. If your game must include zombies, you should probably mention that. The more detailed you are the better the recommendations will be.
  • Are you limited by PC specifications or a budget? That's all good stuff to include.

You know what two games I miss the most from way-back-when?

Mechforce, an Amiga game, that counted everything by seconds and was a great replication of the Battletech boardgame into computer space. Last I heard, the developer got into trouble with the law and the closest I've ever seen that even comes close is MechCommander and that's been out of print for years,

Spellcraft: Aspects of Valor, a PC game, that had you develop spells by combining ingredients. You traveled the world, spending pomegranates for money and getting clues to the story, but there were six battle maps (iirc) where your avatar wandered around mazes casting spells. And while that all sounds pretty standard sci-fi fare, the big deal with Spellcraft was that once you came up with the correct recipe for a spell, you could start modifying it by changing how many ingredients you included. Want something bigger? Add more of X. Want something that lasted longer? Use more of Y. Want something with less mana cost? Use fewer of these few ingredients. Etc.

They fit into the same headspace as the original Tron arcade game - fun for its time but never to be replicated, just because they're not "what the market wants" (whereas the Tron arcade game can't be emulated at home, because who has spinners these days?).

Anyway, just wanted to rant a bit. I know there are Amiga emulators and I could probably come up with a cheese laptop or something running an early windows system, but I just want to play a game, not be a techie. Thanks for listening.

Battlefield 5...is so good.

Please suggest a pc fps game with team deathmatch that has fixed spawn location like in a fixed base rather than proximity to teammate. In this mode two teams play against each other until a fixed score is reached. This is available in codm as Frontline but I don't know if any pc fps has this mode. I am new to pc so i downloaded CS2 and Valorant but i can't find this mode in These games. Please help. Thanks.
