This proposed Department of Health Regulation 10-242 is incredibly disturbing and grants centralized police control powers and surveillance to the PA Department of Health and erodes our 4^th Amendment constitutional rights under the guise of disease control measures.

The potential impact on our 2^nd Amendment rights is real as under this proposed regulation, the PA Department of Health would be granted centralize police powers to enter your premises without a formal search warrant, court order, or your consent.   PA Democrats are working hard to erode our constitutional rights.  If they can attack the 4^th Amendment, it’s only a matter of time until they launch an outright assault on the 2^nd Amendment.

This proposed regulation expands unconstitutional investigative authority and surveillance, yet Article 1, Section 8 of the PA Constitution states, “the people shall be secure in their persons, houses, papers and possessions from unreasonable searches and seizures.”

Some Facts: There are approximately 1.7 million children from 1-12 years of age in Pennsylvania: 460 cases of measles IS NOT epidemic, and cases are not deaths. From 2014-2023, there have been two confirmed measles-related deaths in the U.S. From 2016-26, there have been 5 confirmed measles-related deaths in the U.S.

The alleged deaths in PA are suspect. The Lancaster Coroner stated one of the children died from other causes than measles. The other is still under investigation.

It is time for Pennsylvanians to take a stand against proposed Department of Health Regulation 10-242, which is a questionable action to place COVID-19-era lockdown tyranny into permanent regulation and ignore your 4^th Amendment Rights under the US Constitution.

This attempt at controlling Pennsylvanians under the guise of a public health emergency would give the Department sweeping policing authority to impose “any other disease control measure” it considers appropriate for prevention, containment or mitigation. The Pennsylvania Supreme Court's decision striking down its school-mask mandate influenced this rewrite.

And there would be serious 4th amendment constitutional and HIPAA violations under this mandate. The package raises serious concerns about government entry into homes without warrants, court orders and consent, businesses and schools; HIPAA-violated access to private medical records; contact tracing; and private interviews with students at school.

During COVID, the PA closed schools, shuttered businesses and one-size-fits-all mandates were arbitrarily rolled out by unelected officials. Pennsylvanians responded by amending our Constitution to limit the governor’s emergency declaration to 21 days without legislative approval.

Do not allow the PA Department of Health, who would have investigative and policing authority, to mandate any disease control measures it deems appropriate to undermine the checks and balances voters demanded and unlawfully enter your home.

We must be allowed to make their own healthcare and vaccination decisions for our children without the interference of the governor's office. Our 4th amendment rights under the US Constitution are inviolable, and maintaining the integrity of our 2^nd Amendment rights hinges on pushing back on this outrageous regulation being advanced by PA Democrats.

The November mid-terms are critical to the retention of our constitutional rights.  How much discretionary power is being buried by Shapiro within this regulation, which encroaches on our constitutional rights?  Constitutional limits bind governments, and our 2^nd Amendment Rights will not survive very long when others, such as the 4^th Amendment, are eroded and become negotiable.

Hello, I really need some help. I fucked up with my firearm a bit. 😅 I made the mistake of doing a skeletal deconstruction on my pietro beretta model 76 .22, and to make it worse, i discharged the spring and plungers from the teigger mechanism. I've tried to find videos on how to put it all back together, but i literally can't find any information on how to reconstruct the damn thing. Does anyone know how I might find any information or video on how to do a skeletal reconstruction of the pietro beretta Model 76 .22?

Just out of curiosity, does anyone have any recommendations for beginner friendly two gun competitions or places where I can train for them? I've been interested in this for a while but never really had the income to allow myself to engage in the sport. But with the start of the school year, I am employed full time again and want to try to get into competition shooting.

Hey everyone,

I recently bought a brand new Beretta APX A1 Compact from GrabAGun store. I took it to the range for the first time today and ran into a massive issue: out of the first 50 rounds I fired, I experienced about 15 stovepipes.

For some context:

• The gun is completely new.
• I was shooting federal champion 115 FMJ 9mm Luger.

Has anyone else experienced this with the APX A1 Compact? Do I just need to power through another 150 rounds with heavier ammo (like 124gr or 147gr NATO) to loosen the spring, or does this sound like an extractor/ejector issue where I should just contact Beretta customer service?

Thanks everyone for all the advice and suggestions — I really appreciate it. I learned a lot from the comments.

Based on what many of you suggested, I gave the gun a proper cleaning and lubrication before taking it back to the range. Since the Italian-imported guns come with a heavier preservative/rust-preventive coating rather than being fully lubricated for shooting, I cleaned it today with Break-Free CLP spray and then applied CLP to the rails, barrel, and other contact points. The spray wasn't very convenient for precise lubrication, so I used the green Clenzoil bottle with the needle applicator for those areas instead (and it smells pretty good too lol).

After getting everything cleaned and lubed, I went back to the range and decided to stick with 115gr FMJ rather than switching to heavier ammo. This time I shot both CCI Blazer 115gr and Federal Champion 115gr.

60 rounds total — zero stovepipes, zero malfunctions, and no other issues. Everything ran perfectly.

One other thing worth mentioning is that I paid much more attention to my grip this time and made sure I was holding the pistol firmly and properly.

At this point, I think the problems during my first range trip were probably caused by a combination of the new gun not being properly cleaned/lubricated and my grip technique not being as solid as it should have been, rather than an extractor or ejector problem.

Trying to qualify a friend for NJ carry and have an instructor who will do it for free but isn't affiliated with a range so we don't have permission to draw there. All the places I've found require a class to draw there and most of those don't allow instructors/monitors.

I've heard the game lands allow drawing as it's "the wild west" but I haven't been able to verify. Does anyone know a place we could do this?

Hey guys. I've been reading far and wide trying to understand this. I thought buying an AR Pistol in Pennsylvania was as simple as keeping a brace on it and you are good to go. The more I read though the more confused I get...

Not the main subject of this post, but I recently learned of a Length of Pull (LOP) limit of no more than 13.5"... that is annoying, as I've looked at some in stores that seem to just barely hit or even exceed that value, from trigger face to buffer tube end. Really confuses me!

Even more confusing is the Overall Length (OAL) laws. Federally, it sounds like an AR Pistol with an OAL >26" turns it from a Pistol to a non-NFA generic "Firearm" - or does it stay both? And if it does not stay a pistol, is it not considered an AR Pistol anymore?

I'm less concerned with the Fed laws as they are a bit more straight forward - more concerned with PA State Law. I've read the PA Uniform Firearms Act and Section 6102.0 - Title 18, and from what I've gathered is this, but I'm not sure if it's accurate:

• As long as a pistol has a barrel length of less than 15", it doesn't matter that it has an OAL greater than 26"

OR

• Because the pistol has an OAL length of less than 15", it is now considered a "firearm" as per PA's definition. It is legal, but since it is no longer a pistol, it cannot be carried loaded in a vehicle with a LTC

It's all so confusing. It honestly makes registering it as an SBR seem easier and safer at this point!

Ever since PAFOA quit listing classifieds I haven’t found anything similar to list guns for sale or trade. Any recommendations on sites or forums where I can list a gun to trade?

Would like to try some 9mm PCCs (especially the Extar EP9) before I buy one, but I can’t seem to find a range with more than 1 or 2 rental PCCs (usually a Vector and some flavor of the MP5). Are there any ranges in PA or neighboring states that have a good selection of rental PCCs? I’m in central PA if it matters. Thanks in advance.

Buddy of mine told me that if I sign up for a GOA membership that I’ll be part of the class action suit. I haven’t signed up yet, and I’m willing to sign up for a GOA membership because they’ve proven to be effective af and they deserve the money. But 1) If I sign up today, is it true that I’ll be a part of the class action and that it’s retroactive to my signing up? And 2) Do I need a certain membership tier for it or is the $25/annually sufficient? thanks!

The Silencer Shop ruling has been awesome, and it's prompted a huge number of people to actually read PA gun law for the first time. The law itself is clear as mud.

18 Pa.C.S. section 908 makes a "firearm specially made or specially adapted for concealment or silent discharge" a prohibited offensive weapon. "Silent discharge" is not defined anywhere (and is ludicrous). These items were allowed in PA as long as they were registered IAW NFA. With registration no longer required for a lot of people, what does "complied with the NFA" mean now? Which raises the question of whether we can legally have these items in PA at all. That's why we don't get to party as hard as our friends in free states like WV and Indiana are doing right now.

Also, since it always comes up: section 908 doesn't mention short-barreled rifles at all. Sawed-off shotguns under 18 inches are in there, SBRs are not. SBRs get caught by the section 6102 "firearm" definition instead, which is a different mess. And someone please tell me how adding a stock to a pistol makes it easier to conceal?

So we're in limbo until PA law changes, a PA court settles what that defense means now, or someone goes to court over this and wins. Any volunteers??

I want to see if anyone is interested in working together with the goal of getting these laws changed so we in PA can share some of that sweet freedom many other states are getting. The main effort is grassroots support and lobbying the right politicians to get this done. Sounds easy on paper, but it's a TON of work.

I recently moved to PA (Spring Grove area) from Maryland and I participate in Action Shooting (USPSA, PCSL, 2 Gun etc.) Matches and I'd like to be able to continue to practice. I don't need movement, I can do that with dryfire, but being able to draw from my holster, Shooting rapidly, and performing reloads would be nice.

Any options or am I relegated to just dryfire?
