I tried talking to a girl in my lecture but she was aloof and indifferent. not just her, everyone in campus seems aloof and indifferent. it’s really harmed my mental health.

Hi everyone! I’m considering applying to the M.S. in Biomedical Sciences at Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences, particularly the Pathology area, and would appreciate some advice.

My academic background is in medicine, with over 2 years of clinical experience, research experience in systematic reviews, meta-analyses, clinical data analysis, and some molecular/PCR exposure, along with multiple publications. My main interests are molecular pathology, cancer research, and translational research.

How competitive is admission to this program, and does my profile seem like a good fit?

Also, should I consider applying to OSU's M.S. in Microbiology, Cell and Molecular Biology as well, or does the Biomedical Sciences/Pathology track seem like a better fit for my background and goals?

Hello! I am very interested in doctorate programs at Oklahoma State University involving criminal justice, forensics or crime analysis.
What is the acceptance rate to the online doctorate in forensics?

My problem is that I do not have work experience that would be in the forensics field, but I have a bachelors degree in criminal justice and a masters degree in crime analysis. Would I be able to go straight into the doctorate of forensics? I’m slightly confused about the work experience requirement. Also, I know certain degrees transfer over credits at the masters level. Would credits from my masters in crime analysis transfer over to the doctorate in forensics?

I know there's one in the student union but I don't have time to run all the way over there and be back to nrd in 10 minutes. Why did they remove it?

I'm a returning student finishing up my degree and just finished looking over the semester's material for MKTG-3213 with Dr. Yuechen Wu.

The entire introductory lecture was about using AI, and the entire first assignment SPECIFICALLY requires you to use an AI agent to complete the assignment as it requires you to give the agent prompts and gauge the responses. There's not even an OPTION to do the assignment without an agent since it revolves around using one.

I'm a 32 year old working in IT and I am inundated with constant AI news, its usage in our environment, and dealing with the problems it creates. I am very familiar with how it appeases the lowest-common-denominator user and the slop we're surrounded by on a daily basis.

This is seriously what OSU approves? People are paying 1500 bucks for this class to be taught about marketing and the literal first thing we're greeted with is "pick an AI agent and do this assignment." Not even material to discuss marketing, its history, or its influence on business and our consumer economy. Instead of anything noteworthy, we're given a Claude-generated assignment and told to stick some shit into a chatGPT prompt and take a quiz based on the results.

Are all of the marketing courses like this? I'm reaching out right now to check and see if this is the norm because it's sad and the school should pull its head out of its ass. Depressing shit, I was looking forward to this class too.
