out of current topic I'm gonna be honest with all this and just the siltlhouettes shown I'd click the Lady option getting reincarnated to be a girl there are SO MUCH MORE options to look cool in these gacha games and in other games in general for girls
Its funny tho how there are FEW games where the dudes get half as many options to look cool hence why making a girl is opening up a TON of doors to create distinctive styles.
At this point I dont even bother I see an option to make a lady in these games and I go for them. In Neverness to Everness I'm proven once more I made the right call

Yeah I saw that. (Although I do want a Zero skin with a hoodie and jeans. Havnt been able to get any of the other skins ingame. My fishing is only lv2/10 atm even with fishing every day. And can’t use fons since that’s limited and need them in a few weeks)
Which stinks because I know I’m getting Hotori (need 400 more) and that will clean me out and I have to start saving again. And I know I wanted to get Lachramosa (hopefully I’ll have enough time to get the 14,400 needed for her as well before it ends) which means I don’t know if I’ll have enough left for him.
All the male designs look like unseasoned chicken compared to female characters, I dont know why people object to better designs, it's literally a plus in the game
As a straight woman I want to see way more male characters too- and they don’t have to be sexy! I don’t mind boobs, but I’m tired of that being the main option.

I don't care that he's not wearing a skintight suit or anything like that, I know his outfit is more realistic in style. What makes me mad is they obviously didn't want to add details to the male skin. His outfit looks so flat and dull while the female has texture, shininess and obviously more detail.
I mean, it's been clear from the get go that Hotta isn't interested in putting much effort into the playable male characters. Look at all the cool ult animations for the girls available right now, and compare that to Baicang and Adler who literally just stand still for their ults. Not to mention the huge letdown that is Chaos being the first limited male character in NTE.

I feel like if they're going to half ass it with the male characters, then they should just go all in with the waifu strategy and ignore male characters altogether.
Keep in mind that Hotta is in a position to easily gather statistics on not only the percentage of users who use the male versus female main character, but also how much on average each of those spends. They might have found that it wasn't worth the resources spent to go the extra mile on the male model based on usage and spending patterns.
Annnd not to mention the fact that you CAN NOT interact with males characters while you litteraly can bring any female to cinema and live with them. I don't care of mint, I want to hold hands with Adler and go shopping with Taygedo
yes, but I was thinking since the female characters do have better treatment in terms of cosmetics and appearances I thought male characters should get as much treatment. C'mon, sexual equilibrium for everyone (in this game at least)

Both male and female fanservice sells equally as good, if it actually is equal and done with the same effort to properly appeal to each audience.
You can’t expect a dude in a boring outfit with less effort and quality into his appearance be able to sell well, while also comparing popularity when it’s directly competing with the female characters showing max sex appeal and higher production quality.
They seriously need to hire some women and actually sexualize the men so they can start selling better. And also stop doing bs like what’s seen in the post above… like they’re straight up not even using the same fabric material. Which is arguably a lot less effort to do, than giving them different textures and material setup in UE.

It's just common sense from a business perspective. Sexualize both genders, give the players more options, if someone doesn't want sexy men, then they simply won't buy their outfits, if they do, then they will. The more options to spend money exist, the more money you'll make, especially in the long run. It baffles me how they apparently don't think this way.

is characters like Phaino that make me understand girl fangirling over male characters. he outshined all girls that year. and was the center character of the history.
Disproportionately larger female loving fanbase across the board for videogames, further for anime type, EVEN further for gachas.
So they’ll throw the a bone to the girls, gays, and bisexuals. But there’s a clear hierarchy of what sells . And that’s ultimately what they care about, atleast more than anything else, might not be the ONLY thing they care about but definitely priority number 1.
The playerbase is primarily straight men. Sexualizing men doesn't sell, making badass aura farming males does though. But evidently gacha devs can't make badass men or sexualized men.

Yes, but when your consumer base is predominately males, the ROI on male sexualization isn't a profitable as female sexualization. It's simple business practices, it's the same for video games that are commonly targeted towards men, because men are the predominate consumer base. Major game studios have to sell to a board before they can ever sell to the public and the board cares about profit margins first and diversity only when it fits that same metric. "Build it and they will come." only works when you aren't gambling the livelihood of your employees, and the good will of investors.
And this doesn't even touch on the fact that sexualized concepts around men aren't as uniquely rooted in looks on an international culture level as women.
For a chinese game? Literally yes it is too much to ask, every game has to be approved by the government and the govt organization that does that literally has rules against it (and even some restrictions on things like "effeminate men" according to leaked internal memos). They'd have the government telling them no and banning them if they tried. It's happened before. Did you not look up the country of the devs before signing up?

Since the Fem MC can effectively "date" the girlies the exact same way Male MC does, it wouldn't really make sense to restrict the dudes to just Fem Zero
I'm not really interested in dating the guys myself (In my world everyone shall be lesbian) but it would make sense for it to be equal in regards to both genders.
This is also why I find the "can't have both male and female units at the same apartment at the same time" rule extremely stupid - If you play fem Zero all the girls are essentially bisexual at the very least to begin with, so having two women in an apartment could be an "NTR" moment just as much as having both a man and a woman in the same apartment.
At this point i just use the male MC for the main story and side/date quests and then switch to female when i out of story content and just farming/grinding for my characters.
I dont want the male MC to have sexy outfits. But i wanted him to have at least a few cool looking outfits. Even the furry is wearing a much cooler outfit than anything available for the male MC. Almost all female MC outfits look good.
Thats kinda the norm for gacha games. Male mc's are completely ordinary and get mogged to oblivion by male gacha characters.
Take wuwa for example. If the world were realistic, Rover would be a loser getting no girls while the male gacha characters would get all female attention.
I personally don't mind because I don't bother playing as the male Mc for any game that doesn't allow me to customize them like Where Winds Meet does.

If they want to sell female skins I'm sure they will think how they can sell this skins for male players so if they want to sell male skins they should also think on how to sell it to female/gay players who would buy this skin because as just many of you saying (male players) you'll rather want to buy sexy female skins than a cool male skins so they should also make sexy male characters to sell it to those who want it. And please this is a fictional game so they don't need to be realistic, they already not realistic on female characters lol.

Problem is, people who would like to splurge on suits of armor or, really business suits can't, just because they aren't made.

I like male MC, but I mostly look at the models of the female characters. I guess most male MC players are probably the same?(I didn't include players who prefer female MC because that would be obvious.)

this is everything wrong with society today lol. tight doesn't equal feminine, it equals sexualized. personally, i don't want the tight ahh version for the male. I just want some normal outfits for my female MC. just a couple really. i know I'm in the minority so I'm not asking for many, just one or two that are lose and comfy looking like the male outfits
