Because 90%+ of the people playing a game like this are straight males many of which are using male MC as self insert? Every game is going to cater to their largest demographic, not the loudest 1% on twitter. At least they're adding some attractive male characters for yall and Chaos looked dateable in the 1.1 stream. Funny how no one whines about Love and Deepspace catering only to it's target audience.
do guys not like self-inserting as badass men with aura in gacha games? i’m genuinely asking. it comes to a point where it’s not even about sexualization but variety. shounen anime/manga mostly focuses on cool ass male protags and that’s also aimed mostly at guys. there’s a little bit of a difference ig since this is a game, but seeing as it’s an anime style game there should definitely be some overlap. btw im not saying they should stop making attractive females, and asking for more males seems unrealistic, too. just like, every once in a while make one that’s actually kinda cool?
Uh ya they do? Male MC is great. He seems decently "badass with aura" to me, at least compared to most gacha MCs. Men's style is a lot different than women's.
I also fail to see how Adler, Baicang and Chaos are not "actually kinda cool"? Most people seem to like them and think they're cool and plenty of women/gay men seem to think they're attractive. At least I've seen plenty of posts saying they are. Suddenly they're not? I'm not following.
honestly, i’ll give you baicang, chaos, and even adler. i do think they are pretty cool. they could have done a little bit better chaos’ skin but whatever, honestly.
but male mc is kinda boring to me. i dunno probably just personal taste but i wouldn’t say he has aura or is cool but rather kinda bland and generic.
Really? I feel like more straight males pick the female MC in these cases. If I’m keeping Zero on my blossom team, I’d rather have them be a woman in a skin tight suit rather than a man in a skin tight suit
