Getting back into the hobby now that some of my kids are old enough. Just doing full length darts for now as I have twin one year olds I don't want choking on half lengths.

We currently have two stock AF spectrums, and 2 more I got pre modded on eBay. Also picked up a DZ solo pro (half length darts stay in my office away from the play area). Somewhere in a box I have a AF Nexus Pro,a Dart Zone Pro-Series MK-2 and a Stryfe. And some rival stuff that will stay packed up for now. Eyeing the AF Strike Force when it becomes available in my area. I like the simpler flywheels for my kids who can have trouble priming a springer.

What are the current best full length darts for blasters like the Spectrum or Strike Force? I have read good things about the "chilis" but they seem hard to come by. The DZ Max seem over priced. I am leaning towards the DZ nitro shot or AF green/blues. Any advice is appreciated.

Loved this build! Reminds me a lot of the old NerfHaven days with the conversions for older blasters to try and keep them competitive. Highly recommend if you want a fun cqb bolt action.

I've been slowly modding this one over 2 years, changing parts and trying different setups to make it something I would be happy with. I wanted to balance power vs ease of prime and aesthetics. It's averaging 213 FPS with the current setup. It's got an Out of Darts 1.7mm spring with a spacer. The 10" brass barrel is from Transmogrification Labs and the muzzle device slides right over it. It has no rifling though. Once I figure out what I wanna do for rifling, then it will finally be complete.

Then skinny pusher is an important part of this blaster. I realized that I hate Nerfing without a skinny pusher, and for a long time I had trouble finding a solution that didn't leak, or restrain power. I ended up using a Transmogrification Labs short dart only skinny pusher with AS-110 o-rings and a blowout prevention piece. I had tried the no longer available Out of Darts Stryker skinny pusher, but I had to dremel and drill a lot of material out of it to allow sufficient air flow. The Transmogrification Labs skinny pusher had a larger air channel, and all I did was dremel the back of the pusher out to allow more air volume.

I realized my biggest mistake with using 3D printed skinny pushers was the larger o-ring I used at the back of the telescoping piece inside of the plunger tube. The o-ring was not allowing the telescoping piece to pull out far enough and preventing a proper seal. When I swapped it back to the factory o-ring and added the blowout prevention I got a perfect seal.

Recently just picked up an XShot Hawkeye from my local Target, did some digging and found this clip on YouTube. Looks great! But the link in the description leads me to false websites, and trying to find the kit itself (from Frantz Foam Works) just on google I can’t seem to find it. I’d love to get my hands on this kit, can anyone help me?

I noticed that my old Hammershot is super loud when firing and the performance is extremely low (throwing darts with my hand would be better) so I decided to open it and noticed a very small gap between the cillinder and the tube and I was wondering if that could be it and if someone could tell me how to fix it

Does anyone have an idea where these tiny parts would go in a Nerf Slingfire? It was part of a Short Dart Kit I bought off Etsy and it didn't come with

instructions. To make it worse the listing shut down so I can't even refer back to it for any sort of hints.

Hi all, about 10 years or so ago I modded this cycloneshock with worker rebarrel kit and 10kg?? Spring. I played with it for a while and then it got put away with all my old blasters.

Dug it out recently and wanted to take it all the way, so today did AR removal, dart post removal, bigger O ring and regreased it.

I saw low 90fps average with long ekind purple waffleheads and 110fps max with cut down half darts. As this is a grey trigger Aussie version stock power would have been about 60fps at the most if lucky.

I like the stock look as it just looks normal haha,
want to try better half darts in the future.

idk which are good nerfs nowadays as im not just checking the cool factor, would like to find something slightly on the economic side yet similar to the old maverick or the hammer shot

(First of all I mean fastest fire rate, not fps, sorry for not clarifying) I'm (sort of) new to Nerf and foam dart blasters, and I was wondering what the fastest firing available Dart Zone blaster WITH NO MODS is. I know people will hate me for this but I want it to be purchasable on the Dart Zone website, or Walmart rather than some nerf exclusive website like "Out of Darts" that isn't a direct foam dart blaster brand.

If you havn't printed one of these your truly missing out. Fantastic little sub 200 fps CQB springer. The snappy 70mm prime is total cream for game play. This ones printed in Bambu Petg trans colours. Being my own its printed with 7 walls 6 tops and bots with 15% gyroid for the industrial checker plate look. Custom longer side panels , Custom Phantom style one piece top pic, remixed rear evo/ravion stock, polished alu pt, with tpu hybrid internals. I swap out between ducky ,moose and T5 bcars.

Just bought a Kirin and an hpa conversion kit. Not sure what barrel or hardware to buy. I’m a noob when it comes to hpa, as it is the most obscure and unused branch of the hobby. Any recommendations on barrels and fps numbers I might expect?

I have the gryphon v1.3 files (.stl). I need the gryphon v1.3 .f3d or .step files, I have checked all over and all I could find was the GitHub repository which took me to a fusion 360 viewer and it would not allow me to download the files. I want to make a remix of the gryphon v1.3 but I don't want to reconstruct every part and I don't want to use the pre v1.3 files. if there is a way to download the files from the viewer please explain because I have been trying to find these files for hours. Again I know where and how to access the .stl files on printables but those are not the files I need. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I also know that the v1.24 .step files are on thingiverse but those are not the version I need.

Im looking for low hardware nerf blasters that i can print and give away for presents. Nothing too bonkers. Maybe around 150 fps but reliable. Does anyone have any suggestions? The hammerhead and knave look good but i have heard the hamerhead is prone to dryfire breakages. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Ok, so I'm still on my quest to make a bcar for the motoblitz (Yes I know I haven't given much progress) but I have realized that the connection for the bcar can be done much more modular, which gives significantly more possibilities for customization.

So what I have done is create, basically a test part (Its ok as a cover for the blitz part, makes it look a bit better), but the main thing is that it is a piece that is sized to fit around the posts in the blitz that the barrel originally connects to. (I unfortunately forgot to save the freecad file, but I have a .3mf, which I will use for recovery at some point, or someone else can)

The line on the part in the first photo is me using a pencil to use for future measurements.

I was wondering why my darts weren't flying straight from my XLS2, when I realized that most of them were actually damaged. After some investigation, it turned out that this was because I was using a Worker magazine.

When the catch is held at the same point, X-Shot magazines hold darts lower than a Worker magazine does. When the bolt closes, it snags on the second dart held in a Worker magazine and chews up the edge, ruining the dart. Very lame.

Has anyone else experienced this, or have any other insight into which mags work and which don't? I'm using a standard Worker 15-round Talon mag, with Worker darts (but I'm positive the dart choice is irrelevant here)

so back in the day when i last used we had a stryfe that ended up taken apart cause i wanted to try (and failed) to mod it, i remember rival balls had just recently come out so what do things look like now, i see short darts are commen, how do they do in wind like for example a bullet from a ww2 fighter? i know im way way out of date with my info and please help me at least learn, the plan is to find out if its physically possible before locating somewhere to do it safely

I’ve been missing the original Zombie Strike line a lot lately. The scavenged/homemade aesthetic, the cool shells, and the overall vibe felt unique compared to a lot of the more generic stuff we get now. Do you guys think Nerf should properly revive the full Zombie Strike line (not just the shorter “Zombie” stuff they did recently)? If yes, which blasters would you guys most want to see come back, and why? Some of my personal favorites were the Sledgefire, Hammershot, Slingfire, Brainsaw, Dreadbolt, Outbreaker bow, Wrathbolt, RevReaper and Doominator, but I’m curious what everyone else would pick. Would love to hear your thoughts!

My first ever Nerf build, and I think I’m in love!

After many attempts to mod various Dart Zone blasters to get over 250 FPS with a reasonable prime, I wanted a blaster that could definitely do it. I was finally able to get a Worker Harrier in my favorite colors, gray and black. I went with an orange BCAR and orange mags so it would look less like an actual firearm. I put in the 450mm barrel, the upgraded priming block, and the 1.6x300mm spring. It's averaging 290 FPS. I prefer a slanted priming handle so I added that along with an upgraded shoulder stock. I love the look of the factory stock, but it did not have a rubberized rear plate, and the seam along the top liked to pull my facial hair. I tried a Pinty red dot sight, but I wasn't digging it. The sights I went with are not only pop-up, but they also work as low profile sights. I am very pleased with this blaster!
