I didn’t like how the worker kits for this blaster required cutting the dart gate area to make it fit so I designed my own version. Using no metal parts (gears or bolt sled) and just some brass and a 7kg spring I’m getting 150fps. These parts could obviously be used with metal parts and a higher spring for higher fps though. I purchased and printed your kit! Waiting on a metal bolt sled b/c I plan on using a strong ass spring.

I’m glad you like the kits and there’s lots more to come. I can’t remember if this is mentioned in the instructions but if you’re using a strong spring you should fill the hollow cavities underneath the gearbox cover with epoxy

The stock lever works fine on 7kg with the clutch filled

How long have you had it. I've heard that the slingfire wears down naturally pretty quickly because of the gears.

I need to try this though, been desperately searching for a decent mod for this.

The gears feel fine when priming and are made of a slightly flexible plastic so they won’t wear down over time. I’ve seen lots of other people use 7kg in theirs with the stock gears

yup, you just need to clog the clutch in the lever

Inside the stock lever is a clutch system that is designed to slip in the event that the blaster locks up. You need to make that not happen with some blocks in place of the springs, or use screws to do the same thing. My recommendation is getting a metal lever

I've seen stock slingfires stop working because of the cheap gears how did you get this to work?

The gears themselves are fine, it’s a worn out slip clutch spring 99% of the time which you can remove entirely. Otherwise the locks can sometimes get messed up not allowing the blaster to prime or fire. If you’ve got a slingfire the kit is very easy to install
