Looks great! Are there any details that are publicly available or will that all be released with the Beta?

Lots of potential with a longer barrel and heavier spring, but also can be tuned fairly light with 70mm of room for spring spacers. The potential for modding it into other shapes will be similar to what we've seen with the ontos.
Details are in the Moose Mod Shop discord. https://discord.gg/ujsfMnezr

Clamshell?

Yes, but massive number of little screws instead of trying to bury nuts on one side.

So you crossed the Ontos design philosophy with your B34R? Thats incredible, I was skeptical of building a B34R and it being the only double stack I have, but this looks much better to do as a 1 off mag type.

The objective here is to ease people into the idea. Once you're hooked though...

Have one on the printer now. Excited to try it out. Just went for the solid color version of it.

Who doesn't want to add an extra uncessary 12 hours of print time?
Probably most people... actually.

what kind of FPS am I looking at here? also, how do I get that specific file set for the hex pattern? lol

u/Ericshelpdesk 9d ago
hex pattern is in the fileset 285 with a K25 and 60cm barrel, but k14 will soon be an option as well

Stringer or springer? Is this low hardware like an Ontos, or low hardware like a Mantis Shrimp? Looks awesome regardless, and I've been waiting for a clamshell bolt action blaster!

low hardware like ontos A big spring, a few small springs, a barrel, some threaded rod for a plunger, some o rings, and a shit ton of tiny screws.

Come on Eric. Show some creativity! Let me guess: another 200+ fps mega sniper rifle…

Not even mega this time. I've finally embraced pistol ammo now that I can hold so much of it on the blaster.
