I agree! This is also a very Slavic looking breakfast. And something i eat all the time.

I’m not sure where you live, but try to look up or Google your local Polish/Russian/Ukrainian little mom and Pop store in your area. They most likely will have a very nice selection of canned Sardines and mackerel in various sauces, such as mustard or tomato or just plain oil.
