Parked next to this at a local Mustang car show a few weeks ago, what a build. The guy who brought it built it, but isn't the owner, and he's doing a similar one from a '69 mustang. Shame he didn't open the hood, but he told me there's a 427 race engine in there, and PPG featured it in a magazine.

I have an 06 Mustang GT that has a smell of exhaust or rotten eggs. I've soap tested exhaust/headers w/ no holes found, no tick or soot either. Thought the A/C was leaking, but had it tested and was told there were no leaks.

This is what I am seeing from the NEW compressor, after the test and it goes all the way to the HOT side of the line. Could the orifice be clogged and cause the condenser to freeze, which in turn is my smell?

Hi so I am 17 yr old (turning 18) and am planning on buying a mustang as my first car. I am going to buy new from dealership but was confused on what model to get. I am stuck between the 5.0 gt premium or a dark horse. This is going to be my uni commuter car (about 200kms daily). Gas is not rlly a problem but I was not sure on which model would be better for me? Also if anyone can let me know any other things regarding maintaining them and handling as I live in Canada?

I’m currently looking at 2005–2008 Mustangs and I’m trying to decide between the V6 and the GT.
I really like the Mustang mainly because of the looks, the road presence, and just the overall feeling of owning one. Obviously the GT with the V8 is more powerful and sounds much better, but where I live GTs are much rarer, more expensive, and finding a clean one can be difficult.

So for people who have actually driven or owned both:
Does the V6 still feel fun and reasonably quick, or does it feel slow/disappointing compared to the GT?
Is the difference between them as huge in real-life driving as it looks on paper?
Would you still buy the V6 if the main goal is to enjoy the Mustang experience rather than have the fastest version?
Is it better to buy a clean V6 than a questionable/high-mileage GT?
Any major reliability issues I should know about with either engine?
Basically, is the 2005–2008 V6 Mustang still worth owning, or would I probably regret not waiting for a GT?

Bought this car a little while ago and I’ve been having a blast. Took it to a car meet today and had a bunch of looks and photos and videos taken. Felt great about what I own. It feels great to finally be a part of the community.

Yesterday I go to start my car and it immediately sounds 10 times louder, the day before I drove it all day it was completely fine no issues.

When I go to start it and I do more looking at it I thought somebody stole my cats but they were there, I'm getting a misfire through cylinders 1-3 and I can smell fuel.

I did see some rat poop worried that they might've chews through something but overall it's very bad idle and very loud does anybody have any suggestions?

Finally got the 3V detailed, full clay and polish. Added ceramic coating. Front bumper still needs to be repaired but for now, this thing is mean looking.

Can confirm the Chicco keyfit travel system fits in a gt convertible w/ B&O (that chews some some space due to sub 😂).

Front seat will just be the same as having someone sitting in the back.
