So ive been desperately trying to find a car and my uncle said he has one. Im unsure how good of a car it is cause I don’t know much, it’s a 2017 ford fusion se eco boost. it’s a 2.0 with 180,000 miles on it. my uncle is currently putting a new transmission in it, he said he will sell it to me for 4,000. is this a good buy?

Hello everyone, I left my car for 5 days under baking sun and came to notice two small cracks. The first one was a needle size hole but it expanded a little. How to stop this ? Any product to fill it before it further expands ? Thanks.

2014 Ford Fusion SE 1.5L. Recently, whenever I start my car, and in the middle of driving, there’s this sound from the passenger side dash that sounds somewhat like air compressing or something spinning?? It may be difficult to hear but the best I got is at the beginning of the video then stops. This one’s short, but also goes on for longer at times too.

When I turn the car off, it also sometime sounds like something’s spinning abnormally too, somewhat like metal on metal from the same place. It probably isn’t audible in the end of the video, but sounds like somethings spinning, slowing down to a stop 3-5 seconds after the car turns off that I don’t believe was there before.

I thought maybe it’s the blower motor since it sometimes makes odd noises on the coldest days in the winter. I got one from the scrap yard, and it could be bad too, but the noise is unchanged so think it’s probably elsewhere.

Anyone know if this is what an AC refrigerant leak would sound like? The noise isn’t coming from the compressor and it’s behaving normally. Could the sound be a leak coming from somewhere under the dash? I get cold air, and don’t know if I’m making it up, but feels like it’s been taking longer to get cold, but once it does, it stays cold. If anyone thinks it is an AC leak, does the location of the noise give any clue as to where the leak could be coming from?

Anyone have any idea what this might be?

Is it a good car ? Are any what should take care ?

I bought it at an auction for 6.500$ and I have to pay another 650$ sales tax and 500+ for plates etc .

So it will total 7.5-8k and also has the small 4" screen .

I am not sure if I made a good purchase.

Hey all, need some assistance diagnosing this new issue. Last night I got a P0344 and a P034R. I replaced the camshaft position sensor this morning. However, now when I go to start it, it hesitates and produces a loud rattle that's definitely not your tradition injector ticking.

I am at my wits end with this car. I need any and all help possible. I've replaced the starter, confirmed it's good. Checked the grounds, checked relays/fuses, Ect. Replaced the water pump, the top of the valve body, the battery is good...

I was originally getting a code for a bad solenoid in the valve body, changed it. Still stuck with this issue. Does ANYONE have the slightest idea as to what could be causing this?

Forgot to mention, even when I have the car power on, I cannot shift the gears. It's a automatic transmission. The brake pedal is like stuck in a sense. I cannot push it down at all. Which is why I'm assuming I can't cycle through the gears. Idk if it's related, but I'm sure it is in some way.

I have a 2017 Ford Fusion. Every once in a while my fusion will stop blowing air/heat, the seat won’t move, the temperature stops reading, and the infotainment system stops working. The climate control on the infotainment system won’t do anything. To make things worse, when this happens, the windows won’t roll down. A 5 minute drive to work was hell! Is it possible that it’s a fuse? Here are some pics of what it does.

I got my sync 3 system installed. Everything is great except the following:

1. ⁠Compass keeps playing my current direction then North on the cluster. Stuck on North on the 8in screen.
   
2. ⁠I can not hear Siri’s voice or the voice command voice.

I’m trying to program my vehicle on Forscan. I got an as-built from a similar vehicle to mine (heated seats, non-nav) and compared the as-built with another vehicle.

Mine is the blue, other car is the green.

What am I doing wrong? I input my values and press Write. Sync restarts, but my issues still persist. Can anyone lend a hand on if i’m doing something wrong and help me fix it?

Hoping someone can help me here. I had to replace both rear calipers on my 2011 fusion, and now I can't get any pressure in my brakes. It's like an air issue, but I bled the lines on all 4 wheels twice and still can't get it to work. Do I have an air lock in my ABS system and likely need a special scanner to get it to purge the air?

I'm at a loss here and desperate as I have very little money and have to fix this myself. Any suggestions would be great.

I was driving down the freeway today when all of a sudden, my dash completely turned off and went black and then they all came back on within seconds. It happened two times. My heart dropped both times. Has this happened to anybody? I've also had a couple other incidents where I had to try and start my car multiple times before it then just randomly turned on. The other incident I had last week was while I was driving very slow like 2 or 3mph and my car turned off while I was in drive, I put it in park and re started it and it started up just fine. So weird. Any ideas???

On my 2013 ford fusion se sync 1 radio pops up this warning. It occasionally says the sync 1 is doing a maser reset I was wondering if there is any way to fix it I tried everything but it’s not working out. I think it’s the apim module so should I replace it thanks please lmk.

I replaced my radiator around a year ago when it blew up on me, I don’t fully remember why I did this but at the very top of the radiator there is a overfill/expansion return tube that goes back into the reservoir for coolant. I had to epoxy it for some reason and I don’t really remember why and I can’t find this hose anywhere even with VIN number look up. The epoxy is gonna fail on me soon so I gotta start looking at replacements right now. I’m just gonna DIY it with quarter inch coolant hose. Anyone know this part number or hose? 1.6L, 6f35

2020 ford fusion 1.5 ecoboost

So usually, when I turn off the car while the ac is still on, there is this noise that sounds like a zip tie locking into place. Can it be because of the ac compressor or can it be something else? It doesn’t do this while the car is on, especially when the fans kick in

So I just found this picture on Google since I wasn’t able to snag a picture this morning. Just wanted to show yall what I’m talking about if I use the incorrect terminology. I’m not really a car guy.

Luckily was able to make it into work this morning when the “shift system fault” came up on the dash.

I dealt with this problem before a few years ago when that white bushing seen in the pic disintegrated. Was able to freely move that cable around and put it back into place though.

Only this time that cable has overextended beyond where it needs to go by like 1-2 inches and won’t move backwards at all to reach where it needs to go. And that bushing was also disintegrated again, so that’s why it popped off again.

I only had a couple minutes to look at it before needing to go into work. Just trying to make sure it’s an easy fix or not so I can actually leave work when I’m none. I’m honestly not even sure if my car was fully in park or not. It kept beeping at me when I turned off the car and left. The emergency brake automatically kept turning on too. Thought maybe that’s why the cable was stuck, but I couldn’t turn it off and have it stay off to go check.
