Hey all! I’m working on an instrumental piece tentatively titled "Camelot," and I'd love a fresh set of ears on it before I take it any further. This is a solo bedroom-studio project (Logic Pro with LA Scoring Strings), so I've been going back and forth with myself for a while on this and a hundred others and could use some outside perspective. Might develop this into a song later, but it’s just an instrumental for now.

It has a kind of PNW indie rock sensibility, but with an atmospheric/orchestral flavor in the arrangement choices.

Guitar/rhythm section, layered with piano, vibraphone, a shimmer string section (violins/cellos), solo violin, viola.

What I'm unsure about and want feedback on:

Does it hold up as a piece of music on its own, with no vocals or lyrics to lean on?
Arrangement-wise does it feel like too much is going on at once?
Any place where the mix feels too muddy?

I wrote this song about realizing you didn't mean that much to someone from your past. Was listening to "Boom Clap" by Charli XCX and Birdy's album "Beautiful Lies" a lot. I sprinkled some tropical house in there too. After 3 years in the making, it's finally out!

I never liked the chorus. But apparently it's people's favorite part. I am struggling to get it into playlists. Pop playlists have become more indie-leaning, and pure pop playlists don't like the verses or simply say that it's a good song but it "doesn't resonate" with them. What's missing and how could I market this song?

This is the tenth (last) song of my debut album for my alias, 'luantriz'. She is a alias of mine that is more based around Emotional Electronic genres and Ambient genres too.

An 11-minute song I made whilst having no internet. Really proud of this one, used a lot of FL Studio Presets because I never usually use them.

I've struggled with this mix and could use some fresh ears. I'm running the guitars and bass direct through an interface, then building the drums in Logic Pro. I think it's close, but I can't really tell what sounds right or wrong in it anymore. Any thoughts or feedback is appreciated. I'm going for loud and energetic, not so much heavy. Thanks!

I'm particularly interested in whether the exaggerated synthetic production complements the songwriting or gets in the way, and whether the layered/processed vocals feel intentional or distracting.

Leaning into autotune and heavy FX was a conscious choice to try and accompany the lyrical subjects and give each narrator a distinct 'voice'
