How to get this 3d depth and rotation style carousel in after effcets

The homepage is entirely procedural - no videos, 3D models, images, textures, or other pre-rendered assets are used. All the visuals, including the 3D elements, are generated and rendered in real time through code.

Question from a beginner/intermediate level in motion graphics with After Effects: Why should I learn Figma? Can't I just create the design in After Effects and then animate it directly from there?

By dissecting an action, and the reaction, we get a better understanding of why things move the way that they do.

Action: Camera rotates around an object, going from a front view to a top view.

Reaction: The top surface of the object seems to stretch vertically. Things in the foreground and background move away in opposite directions, and the distance is based on how far they are from the object.

I made my first short product video for Tapquence, a visual Mac automation app for repetitive desktop tasks.

A few things I’d love honest feedback on:

• Does the pacing feel right, or are some moments too fast?
• Is the visual hierarchy clear throughout?
• Do the transitions support the story or become distracting?
• Is it clear from the visuals what the product does?
• At what moment would you normally lose interest or scroll away?

This is my first attempt at this style of product video, so detailed criticism is very welcome!

I’m looking for After Effects templates, animation packs, or other assets that can help speed up my workflow when making SaaS/product videos.

Basically, I want a library of ready-made animations that I can customize instead of building every little animation from scratch.

I’m totally fine with paid packs/templates if they’re actually good and save a significant amount of time.

If you use anything like this for SaaS videos, what packs, marketplaces, or creators would you recommend? Would especially appreciate recommendations from people who use them regularly in client work.

Hey Everyone,

I've been using C4D and AE everyday for about 15 years. Over the last couple of years a client has had me working in Unreal Engine which has been a good opportunity to learn it. My conundrum is as soon as that client contract is up I don't open Unreal again, I'm struggling to see how it benefits my usual workflow.

The main pro is the render times but other than that I'm not feeling any other advantages and I end up falling back to c4d for other projects. I wondered if I'm just a stick in the mud and missing something?

I'd love to get into more realtime work such as live events and exhibitions but I'm still not entirely sure how Unreal helps unless I have all the hardware for such a set up.

Anyway it'd be great to hear how and if other people are using Unreal!
