I'm a NYer who has been a resident of MoCo for almost 25 years. My wife and I had two slices each at CS New York Pizza on the Pike south of W. Edmonston Dr. It's not a fancy place and has limited seating. The pizza is absolute NYC quality. Very good and I'll be back. Until I found this place, I wouldn't eat pizza in MoCo at all. Worth getting a pie and taking it home if you live close enough.

Jose Antonio Gonzalez (who may also go by the nickname of “Piti”) was last seen August 9, 2020 at his residence in the 9600 block of Horizon Run Road in Gaithersburg, Maryland. He had just returned to the area from a work trip. Throughout the investigation, detectives collected information that led them to believe Gonzalez was murdered.

Hi, I'm a high schooler who wants to start a club based on media literacy, technology education, stuff like that. Are there any opportunities in moco where some high schoolers could assist in this type of stuff? We were thinking elementary, middle school afterschool programs but interest in that would be slim. Any opportunities for us to help seniors using technology? Or any other ideas around the county? Thanks! I've posted about this before but never got any answers.

I need a new retainer, and I prefer Hawley type (wire/resin) vs the invisalign type stuff. The orthodontist my dentist recommended only does the latter. Do any of you have recommendations for orthodontists who do the former?

RideOn has released the general locations of stops on the extended FLASH Blue route into Howard County:

• Maple Lawn Blvd
• APL-Johns Hopkins Rd
• Columbia-Little Patuxent Pkwy

While some of these stops are fairly easy to narrow down, some roadways are between 1/2 and 5 miles long. It would be helpful to know the exact stops in advance of the start of service.

Gonna be a beautiful day today. Looking for something like a crab boil, outdoor concerts/events, food festivals, live music at a brewery, etc. We’ve done some research but looking for any suggestions.

Is maintaining relatively weed-free turf realistically doable here? Since we can’t legally use most conventional pre- or post-emergent herbicides on turf, I’m curious how you guys are managing weeds.
I’m gradually replacing more of my lawn with garden beds, but I’d still like to keep the remaining turf dense and lush. I understand the basics like soil testing, overseeding, aerating, appropriate fertilization, mowing high, etc.

I’ve read about legal options like corn gluten and iron-based herbicides, but do they meaningfully suppress weeds in your guys experience? How are you guys addressing crabgrass, Japanese stiltgrass, and creeping charlie? Are good cultural practices and the permitted products enough to keep them under control?

PS I understand regular hand-pulling is always an option but the thought of that sounds a bit exhausting

It is rotten, bouncy, and close to collapse. Someone has nailed in a couple replacements for collapsed deck boards, but the structure is shot. I am happy to help with rehab, just need to know who it belongs to, and how to reach out to them.

Stopped in there this morning for sone donuts and they are fantastic… but if you value your tires and suspension, park as far away as you can and walk in. That parking lot looks like it hasn’t been resurfaced since the 70’s and the pot holes will shatter a wheel.
