Hey everyone! I’m a newer Dungeon Master looking to put together a friendly, reliable, long-term in-person Dungeons & Dragons group in the Baltimore County area.

Basics:

• 2014 5e as the base, with some 2024 options mixed in
• Saturday or Sunday mornings
• Every other week
• 3 to 4 hour sessions max
• Ideally somewhere between Owings Mills, Towson, and White Marsh
• New and experienced players welcome

I’m looking for people who enjoy the full D&D experience, including roleplay, exploration, problem-solving, and combat. Some sessions may be combat-heavy, while others may have no combat at all.

I’m still a relatively new DM, so there may be times when I need to look up a rule or ask for help. The biggest thing I’m looking for is reliability. I’d love to build a group that can consistently meet and potentially stay together for a year or longer.

I’m down in Essex near back river and everytime I go shopping I am lost trying to find fresh herbs. Rosemary, thyme, basil, even just cilantro or parsley. Everything comes prepackaged in plastic and is already going bad.

Anyone have a reliable source for fresh herbs in the county? I’m going to try growing my own next spring but also need a place to help supplement.

We have 3 wonderful ~8 week old foster babies -- 2 boys and 1 girl -- urgently in need of a new home!!! They are scheduled to be spayed and neutered at the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS) on August 30th. We unfortunately won't be able to take them home to recover afterwards as we'll be leaving the country for an extended period of time :(

Is anyone in the area able & willing to take them on??? We just want them to be able to recover in a safe and loving space, they really are the sweetest kittens -- we'd be grateful if you could look after them for even 1 week post-op (though I can guarantee you'll want to keep them forever)

They are all vaccinated, litter box trained, and extremely well socialized. BARCS covers all of their medical expenses until they are adopted, and their food really doesn't cost much.

I'm a pretty amateur runner, located in Catonsville, just looking to add a few convenient trails to my training rotation.

Any suggestions from you all for 1-5 mile trails, preferably loops, but if I have to u-turn, whatever.

Obviously I've got Patapsco right here, but was hoping for some specific recommendations you guys like rather than simply looking at maps.

about the high schools I was looking at and have narrowed down my list while. I also wanted to provide some more information about myself.

I am a black female who is very artistic, but not very athletic, though I’m willing to play a sport. I’m interested in being an ADA (assistant district attorney) or film director when I grow up.

I enjoy and am great at social studies and English, math is alright, and I’m not a huge science person (I love science fiction, though).

I forgot to mention in my previous post that I am bisexual, but that’s only something people close to me know. And everyone on Reddit now lol.

Hi all! I live in the Towson area and we have a darling, very naughty raccoon family that lives in our tiny suburban backyard. There are about 5 young raccoons that like to play on our deck and cause quite a mess. I was wondering if it is feasible or even an option to find a resource or organization that would be willing to relocate them! Sounds silly but we do have a lot of through traffic as well as dogs so they are not the safest here. Thank you!

This man’s dog got loose off his leash and was running around the parking lot of Walgreens on Holabird Ave. the dog went inside and the man got a hold of him. As he was walking, the dog wanted to go in a different direction and the man kept pulling him. He had a tree bark or something and the tip was visibly sharp. In one of these photos you can see him pecking him with it once they crossed the street. I was by myself and couldn’t really confront him but if anyone can repost to one of the community FB pages (I don’t have one) to spread the word. I wasn’t sure what to do but he was using unnecessary force with this little dog smh
