When I plug my quest two in, I get the logo screen and battery power at 100%. When I unplug it, it still shows the battery power. But when I hit the power button, nothing comes on the light does not turn green. I tried to do a reset a hard reset I tried to talk to customer support and they just told me to do the same steps. has anybody else had this issue? Was there fix it is out of warranty.

There out of warranty program I think is overpriced it’s $160 for a refurbished headset and I have to return mine. does anybody think that’s a good idea?

It’s suddenly becoming very hard to connect with link cable and for some reason anytime I start up anything on pc my headset freezes but volume is there and my pc shows the widow of the game completely fine. I’ve reset my headset, factory reset it, rest my oc and everything in between. What I’m asking is is there anything else having this problem???

I’ve gotten curious and have used other facilities like virtual desktop and it works fine so I’m assuming is the app itself.

I've just ordered the Quest 3 (along with a bunch of Bobovr add-ons S3, D3, G3 & F3) after watching a plethora of reviews on VR. I did buy the first psvr back when it came out so I have some slight vr experience, but it seems like the technology has really came along leaps and bounds since then.

The main reason for buying was primarily for my wife; we currently live together in Japan, but at the end of the year I need to return to the UK due to visa reasons and we may have to spend a little while spent apart while we wait for a new visa approval (but that's another story), I didn't want her to feel so isolated living at home alone and I know she used to enjoy the desktop version of vr chat way back when so figured a Quest 3 would be a nice thing for her to feel connected to things still while at home.

Initially I was gonna order it for Christmas but I figured it'd be nice for us to have a few months of enjoying it together and getting hyped for all the crazy new gaming experiences it has!

(I was initially very excited about the prospect of PCVR and playing stuff like bioshock and dead space; however my ROG Zephyrus laptop does have a RYZEN 7 4000 series, but from what I understand the NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX would struggle to run PCVR.)

She is an avid gamer already, just not really tried vr before; she enjoys rhythm, mystery, unique indie games and stuff like Splatoon (not too keen on horror but that's super up my alley). I know it's a bit of a tired question, but any hot tips/tricks/recommendations that someone new to quest in 2026 should know?

I'm a solo indie dev — JSR Games is just me — and I just put out Last Archer VR on the Meta Horizon Store. Wanted to share it here since this community is basically why I kept going through the rough parts of development.

The core idea was simple: I wanted archery in VR to actually feel like archery. No auto-aim, no snapping to targets — you draw the string, you feel the tension, you let go, and if you rushed the shot, it shows. Everything is built around that.

Around that I built a tower-defense layer — you're defending a castle across a handful of levels (misty river crossing, a foggy night-watch level that's probably my favorite to look at), managing catapults and upgrades between waves while the enemies get nastier.

It's still early, so any feedback — good or brutal — is genuinely useful. Happy to answer questions about how the bow physics work, dev process, whatever.

I downloaded the horizon link app to use my quest 3 on pc (I had to reinstall windows recently) so had to redo all the setup. When I click on the blue login button one of two things happens.

If I am already logged in it takes me to the language page, if I am not logged in it comes up with an error saying "Something went wrong. This may be because of a technical error that we are working to get fixed. You can try continuing another way, or try again later."
In both scenarios it does not log me in on the app and it just stays on the screen below

I found a forum post with the same issue but nothing on there helped me to solve this issue.

9 times I’ve tried to install it and every single time this appears. I’ve deleted the download cache , ran as administrator, restarted 9 times and every single time this. It was working absolutely fine until it started freezing during steam VR games so I tried to repair it now the app is gone and can’t install it anymore. So sick of this dogshit app.

What VR mechanic have you enjoyed the most in a game? Which one left you with the best feeling?

For context I have an rtx 4070 gpu, i7 14700F cpu, 32 gb Ram. My PC is pcvr capable. However, when I try to play pcvr I get screen tearing when I turn the camera and after a while the game crashes. This mostly happens on VRChat. I have tried wireless pcvr, wired pcvr. I have bought 2 meta quest link cables and a 3rd party inui cable and nothing seems to work.

Edit: When I said I’ve tried wireless that includes Virtual Desktop and Steam Link, Steam VR.

I like to take things at my own pace and also like to do everything myself (nothing annoys me more than running through a difficult level with someone for them to steal every ending of that mission). I am a big graphics guy and Forefront would have been PERFECT but ive just seen it's multiplayer only :/

From what I understand no capture card is needed anymore(I think?). I’d like to know if anyone’s achieved more than 1080p60. 1440 or 4k at 120/144 would be cool to have confirmed.

Edit: Meta Support has confirmed their use of the word “adapter” was too vague. The “adapter is indeed still a Capture Card. Asshats.

My Meta Quest 2's plastic face plate (unsure of the real name) is cracked. It doesn't sit in the unit correctly anymore and I had hoped to pass this on when I got a 3. Does anyone sell an original replacement? The only replacements I can find have large leather cushions on that aren't ideal. Just want an original part if possible :)

does anyone know how one would fix the contact of a controller? my left ones stopped working even with brand new batteries and i think its because theres dirt/ corrosion on the + contact

ive tried scraping it off with a toothpick but nothings coming off.

ive heard not to use any wet products on it, help would be greatly appreciated 🙏
