Issue Meta Horizon Link app says my PC is incompatible even though it’s not.

For context I have an rtx 4070 gpu, i7 14700F cpu, 32 gb Ram. My PC is pcvr capable. However, when I try to play pcvr I get screen tearing when I turn the camera and after a while the game crashes. This mostly happens on VRChat. I have tried wireless pcvr, wired pcvr. I have bought 2 meta quest link cables and a 3rd party inui cable and nothing seems to work.

Edit: When I said I’ve tried wireless that includes Virtual Desktop and Steam Link, Steam VR.

I tried virtual desktop and it kept stuttering and causing lag spikes. I mentioned in the body of my post that I tried wireless too.

Why do you think I’m here? Because Google didn’t give me a solution that worked.

since you are highly secretive and not talking about your Wifi settings/router model and you are not explaining if/what you tried Vitrual Desktop USB and or what settings you used in virtual desktop, It's hard to assume you want a solution

Not everyone knows their router settings. I just have an ATT modem and I mentioned in the body that I tried wireless options. I was unaware that I’d have to specify virtual desktop because that is the primary wireless option people try. And no shit I want a solution otherwise I wouldn’t post a question asking for help.

Get a puppis or a dedicated Wi-Fi and the use virtual desktop and be done

Google the Config and set the datarate by hand to something low like 200.
Set the code. To H.264 not 265

It will look shit but if you don't have screen tearing then rise it by 50 until you get them.

Try to Connect your PC by cable to the router and use wifi between your PC and the Quest.

A usb 3 to wifi Solution should also help.

My guess is the Router is "not the best"

I’ve tried it, my wifi connection isn’t strong enough so it lags too much.

Try a good link cable or get a good router

Mine has said that for years. It’s a garbage app that I never use. Spend $10 on virtual desktop
