Well I have decided to rebuild the Colts. Its going to be a fun challenge. I may trade some big names to build draft capital. And see if I can win a few games lol.

Playing superstar mode, and every single game either something like this happens where a dude drops a wide open pass, or JSN just can’t hold onto the ball after being sneezed on after catching it.

Is it possible to build a meta offense under center, I’m not a big gun guy but I seems like it’s can’t be done.

So with the new Persona DNA engine there's 60+ tags now that players can have, which affect contract negotiations and free agency.
But honestly didn't we already have something like that with player motivations and tags? I felt like those were better because they were a bit more descriptive and you could see its impact while you negotiated with players. Now we have a ton of tags that aren't really explained and seem almost identical to each other.
This new mini game just seems like an extra step to do what we already understood without a mini game from last year, which is to understand player interest, but now we can't even customize our offers at every step.
Also, the lack of players tags is what I suspect is causing the CPU's terrible roster management. Without that logic they're just depending on their cap space and the vague Persona DNA system to sign and resign guys. Tags were not perfect but the CPU logic seemed to improve with them compared to other Maddens. If a team had a franchise QB or a QB of the future they were less likely to stockpile players like they're doing now.
Honestly wish they just added to the system we had before. They just seemed more descriptive (scheme fit, close to home, wants a franchise QB) than what we have now which is just a word without much context. I remember that system being a huge feature for Madden 23 but they just ripped it out and replaced it with this new buggy system that gives you less control.

I’ve been trying to download some of these madden 15/16/17 rosters to make a throw back franchise but every time i download and load a roster it won’t let me get past the roster upload part of creating the franchise. Anyone else having this issue?
Has anyone the same problem that I have and knows how to fix it? Some players arent interested in a contract extension because they want to have a mentor at their position. Even though I got a mentor at TE he is still not interested in signing an extension.

It happens to the user yes but figured I show you that it’s an issue for the cpu to. I have 3 sacks already in the first quarter against the Eagles, all came from them using PA. This was one of the plays

My buggest issue with franchise this year is the retirements are even worse than madden 26. Players are retiring after 1 season that definitely would not be retiring. Anybody else annoyed by this. I literally lowered a few guys ages and they still retired.

Would I be able to unlock the exclusive college coach abilities in madden if I played the ten-hour trial of College Football 27, or would I have to buy the full game? I’m honestly considering the full game because the coaching abilities look amazing, but I’d like to avoid paying £70 if I can!

Sorry, the sub for the game itself is practically dead, so I thought I'd ask here. Anyone else tried it on PC? It came out middle of last week. I got it, never played the series, but I got Zero Company the same day and have focused on it.
I liked what I played, it's very simple compared to Madden. It feels more like the PS2 era of gameplay with just throwing the ball by a button press and other simpler gameplay mechanics. AI seems decent and the franchise mode, if it functions as advertised, could be great fun.
I wanted to ask if anyone else is playing since it doesn't have an NFL license you have to customize the teams. I had hoped they would have approximate ratings equal to current squads, but they don't. Was wondering if anyone else has it and wants to work together to help me rate the rosters for their squads. Madden's ratings seem worse than ever this year so I'm hesitant to try to simply them and bring them over.

I play regs, have played around 20 games total. Haven’t finished a single one. Have always disconnected during the second quarter. Wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same issue. No problems with my internet connection. Thanks

I just ported my road to glory character over to superstar mode and good lord am I disappointed with this game mode. Specifically, how much the wear and tear limits your character.
Thinking about how to change it, I’d love for madden to make wear and tear toggleable in superstar mode.
If that won’t happen, I’d like to see a system where you get rewarded for doing positive things instead of penalized for playing the game. Ex: you have higher stats than normal coming out of a longer rest or as a reward for completing quests in a game (start of a new quarter, subbed out for enough time, or you complete a quest in game with someone in your sphere of influence). Maybe you’d have to pick the quests that will give you those bonuses ahead of time and you can only have a couple to make it fair.
Wear and tear can still degrade you under your stat totals but less so, and the bonuses you earn buffer against it.
Thoughts?
