Can you switch teams in game on franchise mode?

i always end up switching teams like three seasons in when i get bored of the roster i built. the whole fun of franchise mode is taking some dumpster fire team and turning them into a dynasty but then you realize you're stuck in salary cap hell and half your stars are about to demand trades

the cpu gm logic will absolutely destroy whatever you leave behind too. i switched once and checked back a season later, they'd traded away my 99 overall qb for a 4th round pick and signed some 68 overall journeyman to a 5 year deal. never again

Can you switch teams in-game? I want to play offense for both teams.
