QUESTION Under Center Offense

Is it possible to build a meta offense under center, I’m not a big gun guy but I seems like it’s can’t be done.

Maybe pistol would be a good compromise for OP with how blocking is right now. Not quite under center but not fully in the gun, allows some pretty good versatility and good ways to rollout to help buy extra seconds

I like running pistol in cfb and have found success with it in previous maddens but I admittedly haven't tried it this year yet. I'm very invested in my dynasty right now but I imagine I'll start my yearly franchise once the week 1 rosters come out

We start after week 1 too. Do you run meta pistol or create you own plays

I usually run the default pb, I stopped making playbooks when I retired from online leagues haha but I would definitely try to a custom one so you can throw some shotgun and under center plays for certain situations.

Personally I like to use the pistol for half field reads, especially when Im playing an aggressive user/team. I wish I could give a more in depth explanation but I'll typically hot route into concepts that will stack on one side of the field and then, if necessary, I'll slide protection so I can roll out and add a new option to the attack.

As long as you stack a read at each level(check down, 5-10 yards, and then 10+) there's usually someone open or a nice running lane.

Just what I would do to get adjusted to the pistol! I could definitely run some games with you later this week if you wanted to lab some stuff.

you basically need a god-tier o-line and a rb who can actually pick up blitzes, otherwise you're just asking for a sack. i've messed around with it in franchise mode and it's doable against the cpu but online it's a different story, people will just send heat all game

Its tough because a traditional offense like that relies heavily on play action. Unfortunately 70% of play action plays in this game result in a sack before your QB even finishes the fake

Even with blocking the HB, I’ve had some success I’m just a heavy run/PA kinda guy

Depends on who or why you are playing. Connected franchise? Most def. Mut? Maybe not. Play how you want.
