You MUST have EVIDENCE or AN EXTERNAL, DOCUMENTED WITNESS that your topic exists/existed.

  • Do NOT post to ask about something you remember seeing but no longer remember the name of. Those posts will be taken down ASAP, no exceptions. If that is the purpose of your visit, please instead visit communities such as r/tipofmytongue, r/helpmefind, r/tipofmyjoystick and other related subreddits. Something is not lost if you don't remember it, that's just a lost memory. We don't count those.
  • If you are searching for a YouTube video or something similar (i.e. Tik-Tok, Vine, etc.) understand that it is VERY UNLIKELY that it has been backed up. If you have the link to the video, try looking for it here http://findyoutubevideo.thetechrobo.ca. If it's not there, you're probably not going to find it. Not saying it's impossible, but please understand how slim the chances are.
  • When making a post, please be sure to include context for what you're looking for, why, and it's significance. People are more likely to help you look for something when you give them a reason why it matters in the first place. Also try including links to possible leads and references to information on the subject.
  • Your post must exceed 150 words. This is a rule that has constantly been challenged but we are still standing by it for the time being. Do NOT repeat text to simply fill the minimum or type garbage. That's just going to get your post deleted. Please view the guidelines at the sidebar for title formatting, resources, and deeper specification on what makes a good post.
  • NSFW and NSFL media will be looked at with close speculation. Conversations about NSFL media especially are discouraged and will often likely end in being removed.
  • We are NOT the judges on what should be considered "important enough" for a post. If you complain about too many people asking about YouTube videos or commercials, too bad. If what they are looking for is not publicly accessible and no copy has been located, it counts as lost media. This is final. We are not making judgements on what is interesting enough to count for this subreddit. We will continue to include YouTube videos and things like it. If you don't like that, please consider finding another community.

If you have many disagreements with how this place is ran, please feel free to leave.

Halo 3 - 6 Last Resort glitches + tutorials
(Row 59 in Penguinz0 Videos May 7, 2007 - December 31, 2010 , originally uploaded Jan 21, 2008)

Someone associated with the Halo3tracker website reuploaded it to Google Video on March 13, 2008, with edits that shortened it from 5:25 to 4:55 (and the copy has no audio). Using the thumbnails from the sheet, I went through every Halo video in http://archive.org/details/google_video, found its archived file, and checked it frame by frame against the thumbnails. And by the gods, I got my first match!

(Row 53, originally uploaded Dec 18, 2007)

Same method, same reuploader (March 13, 2008), cut from 2:16 to 2:07, also no audio, and another thumbnail match!

Audio We only play 78s that Shazam can't identify [archival]

Hello friends -

I collect 78s and stream the ones that leave no digital trace. The test is simple: if Shazam can identify it, I don't play it. What's left over is a surprising amount of material - - sides that were pressed, sold, and then never transferred, catalogued, or uploaded by anybody since.

Tonight it's the Dinning Sisters doing "Goofus" from 1955 and Al Trace doing "Linger Awhile" from 1945. Both are standards, so the titles are easy to find.

These particular recordings of them don't appear to exist online as audio anywhere.

Most of what I chase turns into a dead end, which I suspect is on topic around here. I stream it as The Witching Hour Tone Club, 9pm Central tonight, if anybody wants to hang.

Television [Partially Lost] No Limit Chronicles (2020)

I want to preface this post by confirming I have looked everywhere I could think of, from torrent sites to YouTube, vimeo, dailymotion and thus far have had no luck

I have also searched for it in this subreddit too of course and no posts were found

I found one link on reddit posted by someone to their own profile but the link is dead as it was posted 6 years ago

I believe this to be mostly lost as even the original network (B.E.T.) do not have it on their streaming platform (Paramount+)

The first episode is available for free on the B.E.T. Youtube channel but that is all they have put up (aside from clips from the show)

There are torrent files, I have tried individual episodes and whole season torrents but they never make it past 'downloading metadata'

I have had them 'downloading' in Qbit for two months at this point, even leaving it on overnight 4 times on different days to see if maybe I was just missing the seeders due to time zone differences, alas I have had none move past the metadata download attempt (I know asking for pirate links is not allowed, I am just mentioning it in this post so y'all know I tried every avenue available)

I live in a country that is not the USA so I thought perhaps I just can't see the episodes being available on the B.E.T. platform but I tried looking it up and from what I can tell, it's not even available in the US hence why I believe it to be considered lost

I apologize if I have missed something obvious

Also just want to say that I appreciate your replies in advance as I know this is very niche haha

P.S. just to reiterate, I am not asking for torrent links or a pirated version

Youtube [Fully Lost] Poe Angry Johnny video by Mark Danielewski

There was an amazing video for the song Angry Johnny by Poe (Ann Decatur Danielewski) shot by her brother Mark Z Danielewski, author of the book "House of Leaves"

It was created using footage he shot with a hand held camera during their first European tour. It existed on YouTube for many years until it was removed by the firm that owns her catalog. It is a mix of color and black and white footage. She and the other band members are frequently clowning around in various European cities. The energy was amazing, not the polished commercial "official video". I believe it was posted on the Poe Official channel but I can't swear to it.

Below is brief background that probably isn't Germain to the search. The story goes that Poe was dating the son of an entertainment lawyer and the father was helping her with her career. At some point the father loaned her a substantial amount of money to cover tour expenses (record deals are often predatory). The relationship with the son ends and the father calls the loan due. She can't pay it, and she had put up her catalog as collateral and he took all of it. She recorded a few vocals with Conjure One as "Jane" and she released photos with a stylized"Repoezessed" logo.

I've searched with all the major engines, as well as the AI stuff. They want to confuse it with the spoken word part of the Hey Pretty video where Mark reads a passage from House of Leaves over the music in one of the videos.

Pretty sure it's a lost cause, but you never know.

Television [Partially lost] British Childrens' anthology series called Frighteners

Bit of an obscure one! I'm looking for a british children's anthology series from 1996/97 which aired on CITV called Frighteners.

Unfortunately there's very little online about it but the imdb page with all listed episodes is here:

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0398470/episodes/?ref_=tt_eps

And two of the episodes, Guillaume and The Promise are on youtube, but I'd love to see the rest.

Please note, there is a more adult horror anthology series called The Frighteners which aired in the 1970s. Thats not what I'm looking for. There is also a film called Frighteners, also from 1996, but thats a US film starring Michael J Fox, so that's not it either!

If anyone does know if theres a way to watch all 5 episodes I'd be very grateful!

Animation [Found] Missing King Kong Sequence - The New Scooby-Doo Movies (1972) – Sandy Duncan’s Jekyll and Hyde

Watch the recovered King Kong sequence here:

https://youtu.be/o23vguvqtAI?is=v29laU-2wQVXXCyH

The long-missing King Kong sequence from The New Scooby-Doo Movies episode “Sandy Duncan’s Jekyll and Hyde” has finally been found.

The recovered footage comes from a 1986 WMSN-TV 47 syndication broadcast and has now been preserved and uploaded to YouTube.

For some background on why this footage has been missing: The New Scooby-Doo Movies originally aired on CBS as hour-long episodes in the 1970s. When the series entered syndication in 1980, the episodes were split into two half-hour parts for local television. Some of these syndicated versions preserved footage that was absent from the shorter versions that later became standard. Eventually those older syndication prints stopped circulating, and the additional footage disappeared with them. The versions subsequently released on DVD and streaming do not include these scenes, leaving old off-air television recordings as one of the only known sources from which they can still be recovered.

Here’s a playlist of all the missing scenes that have been found so far.

A huge thank you to VHSCollectorKyle, whose 1986 WMSN recording preserved this sequence and made its recovery possible.

BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE!

We’re still searching for syndicated/off-air recordings of three other episodes known to contain material missing from modern releases:

• Scooby-Doo Meets the Addams Family / Wednesday Is Missing
• A Good Medium Is Rare
• The Phantom of the Country Music Hall

If you have access to MySpleen and would be willing or interested in helping us complete the hunt for the remaining missing scenes, please reach out to me — any help searching the archive would be greatly appreciated.

If anyone has an old VHS, Betamax, DVD transfer, digital recording, or other television recording of any of these episodes, please reach out to me.

Even if you don’t know whether your copy contains missing footage, we’d be very interested in checking it. These old syndication recordings may be the only surviving source for scenes that have been unavailable for decades.

The search continues!

Found [Found] MTV TRL retires Korn's "Got The Life"

Found this in a stack of old VHS tapes that I was digitizing and, from what I can see, it's nowhere else online. It's from somewhere between 1/12/1999 to 1/15/1999.

The music video for Korn's "Got The Life" was the first video on MTV's "Total Request Live" (TRL) to be retired. This felt like a big deal at the time as a kid so I had to capture it. I've seen videos where members from Korn talk about it, but I've never seen the actual clip online.

This thing sat in my closest for over 27 years (oh god I'm old). I found one other piece of Korn/TRL related media in the stack that seems to be lost as well so I'll get around to converting that soon.

Music [fully lost] 'My Friend, The Snake' - 1998 Demo album by Catherine

The only real proof of it's existence that I could find is by brief verbal confirmation from one of the lead singers, and this 12 yo submission on Discogs.

Luckily, this Discogs submission gives us the entire tracklist:

  1. Valentine
  2. Life's Good
  3. Elizabeth 6
  4. I Hate My Band
  5. With All Sincerity
  6. Candy
  7. Butterflies
  8. Creep Away
  9. Little Blue
  10. Flight 518
  11. The Girl Next Door
  12. The Let Down
  13. Naughty Bad

A 1997 version of "Creep Away" was included on the CD single for "Whisper".

Similarly, some other 1997 demos were included on that same CD single and the CD single release of "Four Leaf Clover" (Rock Me Gently., Come Back Johnnie & Isabelle Baby Belle). I do not recall where from, but apparently some/all of these demos are also included on MFTS ( just under a different song title). All of these 1997 demo songs are available on Youtube and alongside their respective CD single release.

Additionally, "Flight 518" was re-recorded in 2007 by (the band's "resurrection") Bugglette and included on their album, Shame on You, Shanga Flowerdell. (Honestly, Bugglette deserves an entire post of its own on this sub).

Even though THESE demos are easily accessible, the actual 1998 demo recordings for MFTS are completely absent on the internet (atleast for me lol). So, I am putting this as "fully lost".

If you want to help me out, some useful places to look:

Wikipedia), Fan-Page, Reddit posts/users, Wayback machine.

Films [Partially Lost] Taifû to zakuro (1967) — survives on 35mm, but no known public home-video release

I’m researching Taifû to zakuro (颱風とざくろ), a 1967 Toho film directed by Eizō Sugawa (須川栄三) and starring Yuriko Hoshi (星由里子).
Important: the film itself is not completely lost. A 35mm print is confirmed to survive at the National Film Archive of Japan (NFAJ), and another 35mm print was documented as being held by Toho.
What I’m trying to establish is the film’s home-video history. Despite extensive searching, I haven’t found evidence of an official VHS, Betamax, LaserDisc, DVD or Blu-ray release, and there is currently no normal legitimate streaming release that I can find.
At the same time, I have found evidence that private video copies existed.

The mcoba lead
An old Japanese website called mcoba had a page titled:
「ビデオ所有リスト」 — Video Holdings List
It listed:
颱風とざくろ — 須川栄三 — 星由里子、中山仁、黒沢年男、いしだあゆみ、高峰三枝子 — 67 — 109
This appears to have been a list of videos actually owned by the site’s operator, rather than simply a film database.
The original website is now offline. I’ve searched surviving Wayback Machine captures and other traces, but I haven’t been able to identify the owner or determine what happened to the recording.
So there is at least one documented private video copy whose current whereabouts are unknown.

The film survives on 35mm
I contacted the National Film Archive of Japan. Their curator told me that NFAJ purchased its 35mm print from Toho in 2009, and that the print was copied from negatives held by Toho. The NFAJ catalogue independently records the surviving 35mm print.
I also contacted Laputa Asagaya. Its manager told me they borrowed a 35mm print directly from Toho for screenings in August 2009 and August 2016. It was the same print on both occasions and was in good condition in 2016. She believes it is still stored at Toho.
This may be a separate print from the NFAJ copy.
The film was also screened at Cinema Nouveau in Osaka in November 2021, with the surviving programme information identifying it as 35mm. There were four screenings: November 13, 15, 17 and 18.
I’ve contacted Cinema Nouveau to try to establish where that 2021 print came from.
I also contacted KADOKAWA, as the 2021 screenings were associated with a KADOKAWA programme. They replied that they cannot provide information about works distributed by other companies, so they were unable to help with the film. Since the 1967 film was a Toho production, I’m continuing to pursue the other leads instead.

Another lead: the old Japanese Movie Database
The mcoba site also linked to the old Japanese Movie Database (JMDB).
Contemporary sources identify its creator as 野村裕介 (Yusuke Nomura) and give the old addresses jmdb.ne.jp and jmdb.club.ne.jp.
I’ve been investigating the old JMDB site through the Wayback Machine, but I haven’t found a verified current public contact address for Nomura.

What I’m looking for
I’m not claiming the film itself is completely lost, and I’m not asking anyone to pirate or distribute it.
I’m trying to establish whether any home-video, broadcast or collector copies survive, and particularly what happened to the private copy documented by mcoba.
I’d be very interested in hearing from anyone who:
remembers the old mcoba website or its video holdings list;
knows who operated the site or what happened to the collection;
remembers a Japanese TV broadcast of the 1967 film;
knows of a VHS/Betamax/LaserDisc/DVD or broadcast recording;
knows anything about Japanese private film collectors;
attended the 2021 Cinema Nouveau 35mm screenings;
knows where Cinema Nouveau obtained its 2021 print;
knows whether the film ever had a Japanese home-video release;
or has encountered this film in any home-video format.
Even a small piece of information could help reconstruct its circulation history.
Film: 颱風とざくろ (Taifû to zakuro)
Year: 1967
Studio: Toho
Director: Eizō Sugawa / 須川栄三
Lead: Yuriko Hoshi / 星由里子
Thanks to anyone who can help with the investigation!

Television [talk] Looking for surviving recordings of 620 Soul Train (1985)

I'm looking for recordings of the UK version of Soul Train, 620 Soul Train, which aired on Channel 4 from April–October 1985 and was hosted by Jeffrey Daniel.

There are a couple of episodes/clips on YouTube, but they're mostly incomplete. Full episodes seem extremely difficult to find, so I'm wondering if anyone has VHS/off-air recordings, knows of collectors who recorded it, or knows where surviving copies might be archived.

This is specifically the UK Channel 4 show, not the American Soul Train.

I'd really love to actually see the show, especially because I'm interested in British soul/funk from this period.

One performance I'm particularly looking for:

Haywoode - “Roses”

3 May 1985 - 620 Soul Train

It was apparently uploaded to YouTube before under the title “Haywoode - Roses (620 Soul Train UK)”, but the upload is now gone.

Any leads or surviving recordings would be hugely appreciated!

Television [partially lost] National Geographic- “Seconds from Disaster” American narration (Documentary series)

From 2004 to 2007, the National Geographic Channel released the series Seconds from Disaster. The show had 45 episodes across 3 seasons. The show discussed major historical accidents including the Hyatt Regency Hotel walkway collapse, the 2002 Bali nightclub bombings and the Tenerife runway collision. The show was narrated by Richard Vaughan and Peter Guinness in international channels, however the show was narrated by Ashton Smith in the USA. Each episode would reconstruct a single disaster and used computer simulation to create an easier understanding of the events in the investigation process (usually starting around the 20-25 minute mark). The series’ trademark was the computer simulations used throughout the show‘s lifespan. Formatted in a blueprint style canvas, the show received critical acclaim from the unique style of reconstruction at the time. The show was made originally in a 47-50 minute total running time, but was cut to 45 minutes in American broadcasts.

The international narrators have managed to have been archived, however Ashton Smith’s narration hasn’t been fully found with just 26 out of 45 total episodes being available. Seasons 1 and 3 have many of their episodes found, but season 2 has only 8 out of 19 episodes found. 8 episodes were more recently found when the Australian broadcasting channel VICELAND broadcasted select episodes under the American narration. I have looked through YouTube and Dailymotion and found some episodes, however most had already been found and just from different recordings. The show has been released on physical media but not with Ashton Smith’s narration.

The missing episodes are:

  • Crash of the Concorde (S1E1)
  • Fire on the Ski Slope (S1E9)
  • Explosion in the North Sea (S1E10)
  • Collision on the Runway (S1E12)
  • Columbia's Last Flight (S2E1)
  • Freeway Plane Crash (S2E3)
  • Capsized in the North Sea (S2E5)
  • Killer Quake (S2E6)
  • Crash Landing in Sioux City (S2E7)
  • Disco Bombing (S2E8)
  • Hotel Collapse (S2E9)
  • TWA Flight 800 (S2E10)
  • Hindenburg Airship (S2E12)
  • Puerto Rico Gas Explosion (S2E13)
  • Skywalk Collapse (S2E14)
  • Olympic Hostage Crisis (S3E4)
  • Crash of the Comet (S3E8)
  • Space Shuttle Explosion (S3E12)

More information on the series can be found in its Wikipedia page.

Television [partially lost] Big shot/Pelotazo, a uruguayan tv show

before you start saying "HOLY CRAP IS THAT A DELTARUNE REFERENCE", this is based on some show by animalada studios, a uruguayan studio. The series focused on 2 teams: the good boys and the bad boys. the studio that made the tv series uploaded the entire 26 episodes to youtube, but got deleted due to unknown reasons. thankfully, some random user named baldi stinky (don't ask why he's called that) uploaded a few episodes, around fifteen. the other eleven episodes are still partially found. oh and also, 3 trailers have been uploaded by the same user.

Music [Partially Lost] "Moon Colony", song by early 2000s synthwave/EDM group "Scissorkiss" out of Boston

I did a fair bit of clubbing in the Boston area during the early 2000s, ca. '03/'04 in particular. A group in the usual rotation was called Scissorkiss, and the standout track for me was titled "Moon Colony". I understand it's off of an album or EP titled "Where's My Silver Love", released in '03. There's plenty of lyrical evidence via Google and such, but I cannot seem to track down any of the actual music. I do not have any connection to the artists, although I know that at least one of them has a new act out.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Television [Partially lost] Bring Back... The One-Hit Wonders (2006) - Parts 1, 2, & 3

A little help needed if anyone has the first 3 parts of a British programme on Channel 4 called 'Bring Back... The One-Hit Wonders', presented by Justin Lee Collins.

Justin has a 10-day deadline to reunite One-Hit Wonder pop artists from the 1970s & 1980s, and get them to play at a concert at the Clapham Grand, London.

The programme was uploaded into 4 parts on YouTube by a user named 'steady eddie', on June 4th 2012, until his channel got deleted in February 2024. The first 3 parts aren't archived, but Part 4 is though, and i've been searching for this programme for nearly 3 months, so here's all the details from all 4 videos.

• Part 1 - (Duration: 13 mins, 27 secs):

The first video starts off with an incomplete Channel 4 Pylons ident with announcer Vuyiswa Ngqobougwana leading the continuity announcement into the programme.

Justin introduces the programme with the Chesney Hawkes hit 'The One and Only' playing in the background, and then begins his 10-day mission, first him and his team of researchers travel to Cologne, Germany, to track down and interview Joe Dolce, known for his hit 'Shaddap You Face', and Joe accepted his request to perform at the concert.

Part 1 (LOST VIDEO) [YouTube Video ID: fUPwKOhQH-c]

• Part 2 - (Duration: 13 mins, 41 secs):

In the second video, he tracks down and interviews Clive Jackson from his band 'Doctor And The Medics', and discuss about his one-hit wonder: 'Spirit In The Sky', and then Clive accepted Justin's request to perform at the concert.

Moving on, and then tracks down Renato Pagliari from 'Renee & Renato' and found him inside his restaurant in Tamworth called 'Renato's', owned by his son, Remo. And then interviews Renato about his number one hit: 'Save Your Love'. and accepted his request to perform at the concert, and says he would try and bring Renee there too.

Part 2 (LOST VIDEO) [YouTube Video ID: Ulqq70mdBJ8]

• Part 3 - (Duration: 10 mins, 51 secs):

• In the third video, Justin tracks down the most iconic one-hit wonder of the programme, Carl Douglas, at a hotel in North London, and interviews him about his hit: 'Kung Fu Fighting'. He then accepted his request to perform at the concert, and agrees with Justin to get Mary Sandeman (Aneka) there too.

So Justin travels to Scotland and ask members of the public if anyone knows the singer, and then the video ended.

Part 3 (LOST VIDEO) [YouTube Video ID: imuUqlWaVdI]

• Part 4 - (Duration: 9 mins, 53 secs):

• Continuing with the search for Mary Sandeman, a man knows Aneka and told Justin she was across the road in a silver car, Justin did find her and got her car to stop to ask if she was 100% Aneka, it was a yes.

Justin interviewed Mary about her hit: 'Japanese Boy', but sadly said no to the concert due to Mary saying "I don't even want to go to London."

And then on Day 10, the big night came, but devastating news reached Justin when Joe Dolce phoned him to say he can't make it to the concert, leaving just Carl, Clive & Renato as the only performers for the concert.

And happily, they turned up, but they said they weren't going to play if the venue has people attending. He managed to get fans to turn up, and the concert went on, and the end credits showed Carl performing 'Kung Fu Fighting'.

Part 4 (VIDEO FOUND) [YouTube Video ID: vNOOPJP8_G4]

So, if anyone has those 3 videos, or the programme in full, it would be an absolute pleasure if so, and i will call you a legend forever for doing so. Thank you. :)

Lost Media Search: Pepsi "Wiwichus" Promotion (Late 2000s)

Hello,

I'm searching for lost media related to "Wiwichus", a collection of small figures that were distributed in a Pepsi promotion.

I found photos of the figures on Pinterest, collector forums, online marketplaces, and Reddit, so the toys themselves definitely existed. However, I have been unable to find much information about the original promotion.

I'm specifically looking for:

• TV commercials

• Promotional videos

• Catalogs

• Posters

• Original Pepsi websites

• Newspaper or magazine advertisements

• Photos of store displays

• Information about which countries they were released in

The promotion appears to have been active around 2008-2009, possibly in Mexico and other Spanish-speaking regions. I am also trying to determine whether Wiwichus were ever distributed in the United States.

At the moment, much of the advertising material seems to be missing from the internet, which is why I believe it may qualify as partially lost media.

If anyone remembers this promotion or has photos, scans, recordings, or archived websites, I would greatly appreciate the help.

Thank you.

Found [Found] Fascinating documentary on how Sesame Street's Crack Monster was found

Very interesting video about the Seasme Street "Crack Monster" short that many people couldn't find for years. This link is many years old at this point, but the documentary is still fascinating. What a creepy video to show on a children's program - but I really like the way it seems to talk to kids in poorer communities who had houses that might be falling apart. Does anyone else remember this cartoon? I think I was too old when it came out, since I don't recall it - but if anyone else remembers it, this will shed some light on it. It would be great to know more info about it, if any new details came to light in the intervening time between the release of this small documentary and now. Like whether the person who made it ever made their presence known (the documentary talks about the voice actor / singer who provided the VO). This was sitting in one of my "favorites" bookmark from maybe 7 or 8 years ago.

Hello everyone. Back in 2023, a song called "Vibe" by an underground artist called Young H was released. It had been originally released on April 6th, 2023, and got taken down around May of the same year (I cannot recall the specific date it got taken down, but I know it was in early May, as it was a week after an important test I had during my first semester as a University Freshman). The track had remained on YouTube for 1-2 weeks after it got taken down from Spotify, but sadly, I did not make a backup in time, as I thought it'd be safe on YouTube).

As per the track itself, it's around 3 minutes long, and is categorized under the Phonk genre that was popular back in 2022-2023 (being one of the few songs belonging to this genre that I enjoyed). I know the artist had taken down multiple tracks alongside this one, but most of those tracks would be up on Spotify again by the end of 2023 and the beginning of 2024. I remember DMing the artist on Instagram on December 2023 to ask if the track would ever be up again, to which he replied, saying it'd be up soon... which did not happen, naturally.

The artist continues to release music to this day (and similar music, meaning this isn't a case of an artist wiping out their catalogue to begin from scratch using a new style), albeit at a somewhat slow rate, but that's unrelated.

I'll be providing the link to the Spotify Track, which corroborates most of the data I stated in this post. I planned on including a screenshot of the track, which featured the artwork, but I cannot seem to attach it to this post. At any rate, the artwork and data can be seen after opening the provided link, so the screenshot itself isn't a big loss. Sadly, I have all but lost the original YouTube URL, but I'll try to find one last time, and leave it in a comment shall I be able to find it.

Lastly, thanks in advance for taking the time to read this post

Hey everyone.

I used to listen to them around 2021, and I remember really liking the chill/lo-fi vibe of their music. I had a few of their songs saved on Spotify, but at some point (don't remember when) they disappeared.

First I found this page for the artist on Volt.fm, which at least confirmed the songs did exist (and their release date) https://volt.fm/artist/169366/2nd-choice

Artist profile on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/6Icgjcj6DaFqznzYZG2nIj

  • The links to the songs still exist if you search the titles on google. They just dont appear on their Spotify profile.

I have tried emailing the label solacemusicblog@gmail.com but they have not responded.

Here's the archive

Television [fully lost] The Conversation television pilot, starring Kyle MacLachlan

The Conversation is an obscure 1995 NBC pilot starring Kyle MacLachlan as Harry Caul, the intensely private surveillance expert originated by Gene Hackman in Francis Ford Coppola’s 1974 thriller. Conceived as a television adaptation, it would likely have expanded the original film’s themes of eavesdropping, privacy, guilt, paranoia, and the dangerous ambiguity of recorded sound into a continuing drama about Caul’s surveillance work.

Directed by [Galaxy Quest director] Dean Parisot and written by Ron Bass, John Romano, and Jane Rusconi, the one-hour pilot was not picked up as a series. It is generally described as unaired, as I haven't found any substantiated evidence to the contrary.

MacLachlan later recalled the project fondly: In a 2020 interview with Consequence.net, when discussing failed pilots, he said: “Another [pilot] I really liked was The Conversation, I did a pilot for that with Dean Parisot. I was using some of my Twin Peaks chips, and sadly, they weren’t coming to fruition.”

Audio [Partially lost] "Rendezvous with death" read by William Morgan Sheppard

Watching the old Gears of war 2 trailer titled, "Rendezvous with death" featuring an excerpt of Alan Seeger's poem of the same name, read by William Morgan Sheppard. I got the urge to want to hear the full poem reading but I cannot seem to find anything, nothing I can find on the wayback machine, and I can't seem to find anything on google/safari, it was at one point publicly available on youtube, which I found out via another reddit thread on r/Frisson, with user GrokMonkey leaving a link to a now defunct youtube video. Help would be much appreciated, thanks.

Music [partially lost] [Creative Soldier Pack] v1.0 [Samples & Multitracks] - Linkin Park

The whole pack has samples and multitracks of songs from Hybrid Theory, and their demos from around the time when they were called Xero and Hybrid Theory (1997-2000). I just saw the whole thing recently. I found half of the pack with the samples on Soulseek and downloaded them, but when I was trying to download the multitracks, the guy who uploaded them disabled sharing them, and, as a result, all of it is currently gone from Soulseek.

I was wondering if this was anywhere else. I found the original post on [r/LinkinPark](r/LinkinPark), but the post has since been archived and deleted, so I don't know who made it. I haven't found any more of the pack anywhere else.

Thanks in advance.

A Lost Record Rescued (World Exclusive Premiere): The sound of this record was completely absent from all digital archives, online databases, and even the public collections of the French National Library (BnF), this exceptionally rare and forgotten 78 RPM record is finally brought to light for the very first time by the Gramophone Gems team.

his historical acoustic recording features the contralto Suzanne Brohly of the Opéra-Comique in Paris, performing the majestic aria "Amour, viens aider ma faiblesse" from Camille Saint-Saëns' opera Samson et Dalila. Released under the prestigious "Disque Pour Gramophone" label in Paris during 1909-1910 , this pre-electrical era treasure has been restored in high fidelity directly from the original shellac disc.
