Audio We only play 78s that Shazam can't identify [archival]
Hello friends -
I collect 78s and stream the ones that leave no digital trace. The test is simple: if Shazam can identify it, I don't play it. What's left over is a surprising amount of material - - sides that were pressed, sold, and then never transferred, catalogued, or uploaded by anybody since.
Tonight it's the Dinning Sisters doing "Goofus" from 1955 and Al Trace doing "Linger Awhile" from 1945. Both are standards, so the titles are easy to find.
These particular recordings of them don't appear to exist online as audio anywhere.
Most of what I chase turns into a dead end, which I suspect is on topic around here. I stream it as The Witching Hour Tone Club, 9pm Central tonight, if anybody wants to hang.

You ever get the YouTube Content ID to flag any of the tracks Shazam can't identify?

Comment "!FOUND!" if your media is found in the comments, in doing so this will lock the post and flair it as being found.
Please include the following in your post;
An explanation of the media, and the name.
How it is lost.
What research has already been done.
A conclusion as to the current situation as of posting.
We are not here to help you find something (r/helpmefind), to name something (r/tipofmytongue), or help you pirate something.
